yee exactly! not knowing WHY is just. an awful feeling. like the fucking worst skajsjdh i have been ghosted by folks in the past and just like, had major depressive episodes cos of it (thanks rsd) its just,, kinda a dick move to not say ANYTHING yknow? lmao

Like you don't know if they didn't like you, or the char, or something very serious happened, or they were just bored... There's so many options, it's practically impossible to know!
I normally end up being the necro-poster because something will happen, I'll struggle to reply but never truly give up, yet it seems everyone else has already given up in the first month, even the GM.
My commitment isn't such a fleeting thing, I might reply a year later, but I will reply eventually; That's as certain as ice melts into water and lava is magma that has exited into the surface.
The only issue is that, I will do that, and sometimes really try to push for the thread's revival, but to no avail.
Especially when the GM is the one that's missing, there's no more salvation for it ^^'

and same tbh sksksj i tend to get attached to threads and like,, try to keep em alive even when they're preeeetty much dead oop and same sksksk my muse goes all over the place and (usually with private threads) i just won't respond to the thread for months, and then just get muse one day and post again lmao i rarely like,, properly ditch and if i do i try to say, or make sure im at LEAST not like. heavily involved in stuff lol

I keep a tracker with like, every thread I ever wrote for so I can readily find them again and maybe re-read if I'm feeling on the mood and maaaan, no many good times and stuff full of potential that didn't go much far, or anywhere for that matter
