history.

family : mary hansen (mother)

alexander hansen (older brother)
backstory : hilde was the second child
born to king erik and queen mary.
only being three years younger than
her brother, alexander, the two were
inseparable. the royal siblings were
always doing something together;
school, playing, getting in trouble,
whatever else you can name.
this went on until alexander turned 13.
he started to become distant from her
and spent more time in his room.
hilde, who was 10 at the time, tried
making friends with anyone and
everyone. she ended up becoming
friends with a stable boy who was her
brother’s age. the two became just like
hilde and her brother...inseparable.
when hilde was 13 and the stable boy,
robert, was 16, they kissed. alexander
found out and beat robert up to
“teach him a lesson about touching
his sister.” hilde tried to mend things
with robert, but he ended up leaving
the stables and disappearing. she has
never gotten close with anyone again
as she doesn't want them to get hurt
because of her. after years of her
parents trying to get her back out of
her shell and a “normal teenager,”
her parents sent her to hawthorpe
to socialize and make friends.

hilde is everything you expect a
princess to be. she is poised,
polite, put-together, she was
raised by a queen after all.
before everything with robert,
hilde was care-free and sociable.
now, she keeps to herself and stays
out of trouble, unless someone
pressures her to do something.
she hate’s saying ‘no,’ especially
if you were to tell her a reason
why she should do it...

Bio:
Dinarah is second born in the Ivanov royal family, following a few years behind her older brother Alexei. Growing up, she and Alexei were extremely close, even though they both knew that one day he would have to rule. They lived in the palace with both of their parents, and their grandmother on their mother's side. Both their mother and grandmother were strict, at least when it came to Dina. She wasn't expected to ever be crowned Queen of Russia, but one day she would be wed to a Prince, and they were determined to raise her to be the type of woman to make them proud. Basically, they wanted her to be their carbon copy.

But Dina didn't want that. She wanted to run and roam free, like her brother was allowed to do. Sure, he had his lessons and trainings and all, but he was allowed to be a boy, and Dina wanted some of that freedom. She snuck out whenever she could to run and play with Alexei and his friends, getting into trouble when she finally would return home, usually dirty and with rips and tears in her elegant, expensive clothing. She would be punished for it, but that never stopped her from wanting to be the wild and free spirit she was born to be.

But then, at the age of fourteen, that free spirit got her into more trouble than she could be saved from. She was trying to find Alexei in the woods outside of the palace, knowing he'd gone in there not too long before she had. But instead of finding her brother, she found a stranger. He recognized her, of course, and got the split second idea to kidnap her for ransom. He grabbed her before she could run and knocked her out, and when she awoke she was in a dark room. All alone. She was fed once a day, but mostly just kept in the dark, all by herself.

For months, that's how things went. In all honesty, she got lucky that Alexei found her. He scoured the land until he did, though she never actually asked how he managed to find her. All she knew was that he had her cover her eyes as they walked out of the place she'd been kept in. She was brought back to the palace, but that wild, free-spirited girl was no more. She was quiet and contemplative, shut down and broken. Alexei feels terrible, and she still sees the guilt on his face when he looks at her. She was finally sent away at sixteen to Hawthorpe Academy to "deal" with her, and try to fix herself.

- positive traits :
charismatic : luca is well-known as a lady killer and a dashing prince despite his dirty title. it is easy for him to effortlessly “woo” anyone or get out of doing anything thanks to his charisma, which he obviously uses very heavily in order to get his way.
modest : despite his charisma, luca maintains a sense of modesty over anything he should be boastful over, however small. he often denies any words of praise for talents but it is often clear he knows the things he’s being told already.
generous : luca has never used his wealth nor position in the social hierarchy for his own good, often giving what he has to those he believes need it more than him. he doesn’t use his wealth for his convenience, getting around much like a regular civilian would.
- negative traits :
arrogant : luca doesn’t like being told what is and isn’t, having grown up being pestered this way his whole life. he has trouble listening to others, especially those in a higher authority than him.
impulsive : luca doesn’t think much before he acts on something. he will dash headfirst into danger or trouble because of his lack of an ability to think ahead. this often gets him into trouble with the authorities or gives him an injury of some kind.
competitive : luca has a strong sense of wanting to be the best at everything he does and he is known to get irritable when things aren’t going his way or there’s someone better than him. this can occur with any person at any time but especially with other boys.

- dislikes : formalwear, heavy blankets, mosquitos, black coffee, poetry books, the cold.
backstory.
history : luca is the illegitimate first prince of australia, born out of wedlock between the king of australia and one of his wives’ handmaidens. that’s right - wives. the king of australia already had two wives before luca’s birth. luca’s only older sibling is a princess from the king’s first and older wife. the king and queen already have plans to marry her off to new zealand in several years’ time.

when luca’s mother died in childbirth, the king had no choice but to accept luca as his biological son. the news of a bastard son rocked australia and it was clear that the term “prince” would be used very lightly in luca’s case. however, luca enjoyed many of the perks of being royalty growing up, from the advanced education to the higher quality of living. however, he also knew he would never be the king of australia. it was made especially clear when his younger brother, born of the king’s younger and second wife, was crowned as the inheritor of the royal throne.

when luca’s more rebellious natures began to show themselves, he was restricted and eventually sent to hawthorpe academy in order to give him space from the royal australian family. he returns home in the off season to be just barely tolerated by his family.

the other members in luca’s family consist of his two stepmothers, his five sisters, and his three brothers. luca is the second oldest in his family, having only a sister older than him.

Personality: Valentino is a rather shy and awkward person, with a surprising nasty streak. While he usually stays out of trouble, nor does he try to start disagreements, he certainly tries to finish them if somehow he does get involved. He prefers to keep to himself, often being a person of relatively few words. He does occasionally speak up when something is wrong, often when someone is being mistreated. Valentino isn't inherently mean or aggressive, however he can hold a grudge for years, as he finds forgiving people difficult. Where this comes from, no one is quite sure, however it often comes in handy for dealing with bullies.

Personality: Externally, Angelica is the perfect gifted child. Her parents always taught her to be kind and have perfect manners. Internally, her heart is pure ice. She is conceded, prissy, and a straight up bitch. Pure wickedness. Sure, in front of teachers and other adults, she acts like an angel, but her devil horns are holding up that halo. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Call her ruthless, but she prefers ambitious.

Because of this, Angelica has very few friends. She doesn’t mind though. The only people she wants around her are ones she can use. At her status, real friends are hard to come by anyway. They always want something from her, so she might as well get something from them as well. Keeping her expectations low just made life safer for herself. Of course, school is different. Most people there can be useful. She’ll scout out the best and crush those who aren’t worthy.
