Rescue Revolution!
You are a Pokemon in a lab, being experimented on constantly. Are you an enhanced Pokemon like Mewtwo or PikachuTwo (Like in the mewtwo movie)? Or are you a fusion? Doesn't matter, because after what seems to be an earthquake you (and others) manage to escape to the wild! You stumble upon Pokemon Square, and with new friends you've made, eventually decide making a Rescue Team will be your best course of action! But this is only where the story begins...

(Loosely based on Red/Blue Rescue Team and their remake, DX)

1. DM reserves the right to add rules as necessary.
2. Be respectful and kind to others, OOC. Just because a character acts a certain way doesn't mean their rper feels that way about you personally
3. Theft of art, characters, etc. will get you a warning and your posts taken down
4. triggering subjects may be brought up. That being said, be respectful of other triggers, such as in art, music, etc. and put proper trigger warnings (such as a spoiler for potentially triggering ic posts or over art).
5. Self deprecation has no place here. If you can’t be nice to yourself how can you be nice to others?
6. RPN Rules Apply!
7. Keep non-IC drama out of the RP. If there is drama between any two parties, both will be given a warning, and will be asked to resolve it outside of the RP. If there is no resolution, and the fighting persists, one or both parties may be banned from the RP.
8. Listen to Admins/DM. Period. If they tell you to stop, you stop.
9. Please refrain from using mary sues
10. Do not Spam. It's a one-way ticket to piss me off, so please don't.
11. We are not responsible for you or your mental health. We are not therapists, and you are not entitled to any individual in any way possible. We do not exist solely for your entertainment and reserve the right to have a life outside of the internet, meaning we may not always be online.
12. Do not guilt trip anyone into doing anything, even if it's not intentional. First time will get a warning, and depending on how severe, a second may result in a ban.
13. If you are banned you may appeal, but this does not guarantee your ban will be lifted.
Sorry I had to put down so many rules, Been through too many rps where too many of the things above happened and it wasn’t a good time for anybody.

1. Any non-legendary/mythical is allowed, including fusions, enhanced pokemon, and fakemon (Must be approved first, though)
1.A You can have a relation to a legendary/mythical, though, such as the scientists were trying to create one and instead got a fusion that isn’t even genetically linked to the pokemon they were trying to create.
2. No shinies/alternate colors unless you have a good reason for it. Must be approved
3. Because I think the 4 move cap is stupid in a wild setting, you will have a max of 8 and start out with 6. If this ends up being too unbalanced I will nerf.
3. A. You can start with two Technical moves (TMs, HMs, TRs, etc.) and four natural moves (Level up moves, tutor moves, egg moves) Out of these four, only one can be an egg move, and one can be a tutor move.
3. B. It is safe to assume you start at level 15. Since this is a no-dice version, it is up to you to decide when you evolve and level. I will step in if I believe things are going to fast for the pace of the RP’s Plot.
4. For fusions, you may fuse up to two pokemon.
5. Start out with first-form Pokemon, unless they would have evolved by level 15 (Such as the caterpie line).
6. Enhanced pokemon are allowed! I have nothing specific on what you can’t do, so as long as it seems balanced and not OP it will most likely be accepted.
7. Keep your whole evolution line in mind, as you most likely will want to evolve. Also consider all aspects of your pokemon, movepool, potential stats, etc.
8. Please update your sheet’s moves, species, etc. as we progress if anything changes.

Name: Akari
Species: Augmented Eevee
Type: Normal, with capacity to change type
Gender: Female
Height/Weight: 1', 14lbs.
Ability: Multitype - Changes the Pokémon's type to match the Plate or Z-Crystal it holds.
Nature: Gentle
Personality: True to her nature, Akari is a gentle and kind soul. She holds a surprising amount of compassion for someone who's been through so much. Always even-tempered, Akari tends to be the one stopping fights more than starting them. She's empathetic, and will always hear both sides of every argument. That's not to say she's naïve, though. Akari's been through some tough times and knows what it's like to loose someone important. Her experiences drive her to make sure others around her never have to go through the same loss she went through, as much as she can help it.
Move 1 (Natural): Covet
Move 2 (Natural): Quick Attack
Move 3 (Natural): Sand Attack
Move 4 (Natural): Wish
Move 5 (Technical): Shadow Ball
Move 6 (Technical): Iron Tail
Appearance: Experiments exposing Akari to the timespace orbs and Red Chain, as well as the outfitting of an internal RKS system has warped her appearance. Specifically, her body's genetic code has been slowly adapting to being able to change types, and it's led her to undergo a partial evolution, gaining characteristics befitting a Pokemon who can more naturally change their own type. Her once lush brown coat has begun to dull from the tail up, turning white. The underside of her tail has gained grey striping, and ironically the only part left untouched on her tail was the cream cap at the tip. Her front and back paws have gained a golden pattern to the fur, the brown darkening and yellowing. Underneath here eyes are a second set of light receptors, specifically tuned to read spectrums beyond normal eyesight, such as ultraviolet and infrared. It can also pick up on thermal outputs. Slight lumps on her hips tell that had the experiments continued, she would have changed further, perhaps developing small horn-like structures about her hips. Thankfully, though, her body seems stable for the moment.
History: Akari used to be a normal Eevee, bred for the purpose of domestic life, living peacefully with an elderly owner. Then, one day, her owner collapsed on the kitchen floor. Akari ran to get help, but by the time she managed to get a neighbor's help, her owner was already dead of a heart attack. From there, her owner's son took her in, but he was a professional trainer and Akari was not suited for battle. She eventually ended up in the local Pokemon shelter. Being a rare species, it was only a matter of time before someone else came along and picked her up. Unfortunately for Akari, it was the scientists who got there first.

Wimpod; Ice variant

Type:
Bug / Ice

Gender:
Male

Height:
2’1”

Weight:
34.1 lbs

Ability:
Snow Warning:
Brings a hailstorm that lasts for 5 ‘turns’ when entering combat.

Nature and Personality: Careful; Like many other Wimpods, Wilson is a cowardly Pokémon at heart, rather running away from battles than fighting them. But he is curious at heart, wanting to explore the many things in the world.... in a more cautious manor. And if he makes any friends... then he is willing to do everything to make sure they would achieve their dreams as well, even if it involves him getting thrown into battle, so be it.

Move 1 (Natural): Struggle Bug
Move 2 (Natural): Aurora Beam
Move 3 (Natural): Ice Ball
Move 4 (Natural): Skitter Smack
Move 5 (Technical): Surf
Move 6 (Technical): Protect

Other:
Wilson was one of few many other Wimpod test subjects to have one of its typing successfully changed, one of the more newer results, and the only one of the Bug Ice Variant. The other failed tests were merely discarded, thrown into the wild, leaving Wilson and the rest of the test subjects as examples of how this can be applied to many other Pokémon in the future.

May I be a human?
Define "human" for me please?
This is a pokemon mystery dungeon based rp, and the mystery dungeon games don't have humans in it, Technically. You can be a human that has been turned into a pokemon, but other than that, humans wouldn't be a good fit here. Even the human scientists mentioned don't really have a big place on the plot, its focused more on the pokemon, as we will be leaving the lab behind.

Ability: Guts | Boost Attack by 50% while afflicted with a Status Effect (Burn, Poison, etc.)
Nature and Personality: Hardy (Neutral) | Taught to be self sufficient but raised among others Reath is known by his mix of a stern and competitive nature, or at least he was amongst his Rattata clan. It may take sometime to differentiate his serious side from his more playful, but even so, if you're looking for a backbone Reath's diligence is never in any doubt or question of such a mantel.

Scooped up as a group, Reath alongside his fellow packmates were taken for experimenting, eventually leaving him divided from the rest of his kin. All he's focused on now is the same intention of his specific experimentation: Survival.

Name
Subject 137 / "Zach"

Species
Augmented Zorua

Type
Dark/Steel

Gender
Male

Height
2'4"

Weight
19 lbs

Appearance
In terms of outward appearances, Zach is covered in surgical scars and sutures from where the scientists had inserted metallic implants into countless different parts of his body, making him look almost like a poorly-made toy rather than a living creature. His front-right leg is a prosthetic made from the same metal, and resembles a normal Zorua's leg. His left eye is mechanical. Upon evolution, the prosthetic leg transforms into a prosthetic right arm for a Zoroark.

Ability
Illusion (Enters battle disguised as a different Pokemon)

Nature
Serious

Personality
A bit of a deviation from the standard mischievous nature of most Zoruas, Zach still enjoys having fun every now and again, but when there is a task to be done beforehand, he very much prefers to get all work out of the way, first. He smiles only when he feels like it. When his friends are in danger, he will put his augmented body on the line to protect them.

Moves
- Scratch (Natural)
- Iron Head (Natural, Tutor, normally reserved for Steel-type Pokemon)
- Dark Pulse (Natural, Egg)
- Pursuit (Natural)
- Thief (Technical)
- Shadow Ball (Technical)

Other
Zach is the result of an experiment to create a highly capable fighter, one that could utilize the Illusion abilities of a Zorua while also possessing the durability of a Steel-type Pokemon. The experiment was something of a success, as two of the typical weaknesses of Dark-type Pokemon, Fairy and Bug, were reduced to 1x damage, but as he was not originally a true Steel-type Pokemon, he could not gain the full resistances from that type, and instead could take 3/4 damage from Normal, Flying, Rock, Steel, Grass, Ice, and Dragon moves. In addition, Zach could not gain the Poison immunity that Steel-types are known for, but instead could take 1/4 damage from it. The metal implants inserted into Zach's bones reduced his weight (as Zoruas are typically 28.5 lbs), allowing him to run faster and longer, jump higher than usual, and withstand falls from greater heights due to the lightweight yet very durable performance of the material. The other metal implants his body have increased his physical strength (for tasks such as moving objects), as well as his defensive capabilities.

Name:
Krystle
Species:
Dratini/Eevee Hybrid
Type:
Dragon/Normal
Gender:
Female
Height/Weight:
5'11" (8m)
Ability:
Adaptability (Hidden: Marvel Scale)
Nature and Personality:
Lonely: Being kept in a cage and experimented on constantly does not make one a very outgoing and sociable person. Without any friends to be around, Krystle became very reclusive. Deep down, she wants to have friends, but she simply does not know how to and draws further away from those who would normally become her friends. This makes her seem quite shy and timid, but it is really just because she does not know what to do in regards to making friends and ends up backing out of it quickly, returning to her rather lonely existence.

Move 1 (Natural): Twister
Move 2 (Natural): Thunderwave
Move 3 (Natural): Wrap
Move 4 (Natural): Quick attack
Move 5 (Technical): Breaking Swipe
Move 6 (Technical): Surf
Appearance (If no image):
Krystle doesn't look too different from a normal Dratini, at least in body shape, but you'd have to be blind to miss the distinctive brown and cream colored fur that is almost associated with an Eevee, but it is covering her whole body. Atop her head she has two minuature versions of an Eevee's ears, right on the inside of her head frills. Her back and sides are all an earthy brown color, while her underbelly and the thicker fur around her neck is all cream colored. Her fur is very soft and warm to the touch, as well as hydrophobic, allowing her to slip through the water that she would call her home should she had been in the wild with ease.

Species info (If a fusion or enhanced pokemon):
Krystle is a fusion between a Dratini and a Eevee, causing her to have a Dratini's body but covered in brown fur. Due to this fusion, she looses the ability to evolve into a Dragonite, instead being able to evolve via the use of a stone once she reaches her second stage. She is capable of all of the attacks that both an Eevee and a Dratini are capable of doing.

Other:
While was deemed a failure, he was still put to work was a working pokemon. Though not treated equally, and more like a servant or slave. Due to this, he is not fond of humans and sees them more of a threat.
Species info (If a fusion or enhanced pokemon): Brawli was an attempt to make a fighting/psychic type. He was experimented on as an egg thru Gene splicing with an abra.
