    One hundred years ago, the stars fell out of the sky.

    Your grandparents used to tell you stories about it. The world was drastically different then. They lived in lovely homes during usual times when tensions over borders and resources reigned supreme. They lived normal lives and had normal experiences. It was on a cool spring night that the world had changed. The dark had come much earlier than expected, according to them. The sky was perfectly clear, which they told you was nearly unheard of. They said that the whole world was reporting darkness where there should have been none, though how they could speak to others across the land is still unknown to you. They said that people felt mixed sensations as the stars touched the ground, as though their pain had been lifted from them. They said that it was the most beautiful thing the world had ever witnessed. After some years people began to call it the Starfall, but nobody at the time had known what was about to happen to their world.

    Only a week following the event, the first Sigil appeared. A young woman described saving herself from a violent fall from the roof of her home, though she couldn't explain how. Another man said he'd put a dent in his 'car,' whatever that was. Another still said he had rearranged his entire home without touching a thing. The world was being turned upside down from the reports of strange abilities appearing all over the globe. Fantastic colors filled the night as people learned of their new abilities, which they had come to call Sigils. You laughed at this. You'd grown up with Sigils and falling stars, you found it strange that the Old Earth was so surprised at these wonderful abilities.

    More changes were soon to come. Animals developed into shadowy forms of their former selves, as though disconnected from reality itself. Plantlife and flora of all types grew to incredible sizes, and at rates previously unknown to humankind. The world began to rotate every-which-way, causing the nights and days to come and go at random lengths of time. Somehow, the world did not burn nor freeze but instead healed itself from the damage the Old Earth had caused. Harm to the world caused by humanity healed itself at incredible speeds. The weather had become more aggressive yet equally as gentle in some places, where the rain might fall for weeks, soon following the Sun may shine for a month. This was nothing strange to you, as you had grown up when the weather was strange and the days were long.

    Your grandparents told you that life had tried to continue as normal, that people attempted to adjust to their new powers, but to no avail. Movements appeared all over the world, demanding changes and reform. Some wanted to ban the use of Sigils, calling them dangerous and/or immoral. Others wanted life to incorporate the Sigils, while others still asked why nothing was being done to help the world with these newfound powers. Some people went as far as to attack the cities of the world to gain control. Urban centers dispersed to avoid the damage, and humanity seceded into small communities of people just trying to protect themselves and each other from a changing world. Your parents grew in the tail-end of the Old Earth, so they carry the fear that their grandparents had about change.

    The world is different now. The tribes are separated by vast swaths of land. You don't fight for food, and you've got all the land you could ever need. Sigils are second nature, and the long days and unusual weather are a part of life. Many gain new powers, pick up new skills to help the tribe, worship the Gods and Goddesses you've known all your life. You are of the first generation native to the new world. Your tribe continues to change and grow, and it will be up to you and your peers to mold the future into whatever it needs to be. Will you explore the world? Will you protect your tribe from the strange dangers beyond the trees? Will your lookout for yourself, or will you keep your friends close? Your community continues to grow in size, and your traditions have begun to set in stone. This year, another Starfall will occur, and you will gain the Sigil you have waited so desperately for. You will be given a purpose and your fate will be etched into eternity. You can barely contain the excitement of readying yourself for your own powers. Soon the question will be asked;

    Who are you, and what do you want to be?

This is one of the coolest stories I've heard of in I while, one question though what are the powers going to be like?

Plaugez Plaugez I'm writing them out right now. It'll be collections of similar abilities that differ between colors, but it'll also be malleable. I'll probably let players create some of their own just for the hell of it.

Still open! I'll be throwing up the Lore page for extra information and the character sheets soon.

Finally! The character sheets page and lore page are finally up.

The Lore is pretty small right now, it only has an explanation of how Sigils are used and how to write them, but it'll be updated with more information as more information is revealed.
