Hey all. So this is the second big rp idea I had that I'd love to do- a Selection roleplay! 1x1, but with multiple characters. 10 Selected each, a royal each, and a servant each, for a total of 12 characters each. So this is from The Selection series by Kiera Cass, but I have made a few adjustments for roleplay sake, like having less Selected, as well as certain holidays like Halloween that weren't in the books (because a spooky halloween masquerade/costume ball is fun). I also have it all scheduled out so that it goes like this:
Each royal (siblings, assumedly) gets 5 dates over the course of a month. An initial, short date the very first day they meet the Selected, a double date with their sibling, and three 1x1 dates. They then usually have a special event at the end of the month, like a ball or something. And they have an elimination ceremony. 2 Selected are eliminated at each elimination. We could do it over 6 months in rp time, or we could do a year rp time with eliminations happening every other month. It's a long term rp, heavily centered in romance and political intrigue and royalty, and we can gradually decide which Selected we want to eliminate until our royals choose their Ones.
We can also rp the Illea Report talk show, and the weddings and all the planning and everything. Almost like a slice of life roleplay. I may post this in the group rps too but I tend to do better with 1x1 roleplays so I decided to try here first and see if anyone would be interested.
