How far do we want the CS's deviate from canon (for those of us with characters who have official character sheets already)? Just a little blurb about what they've been up to for the past six years?

Your character's modes and abilities should line up very closely with the canon. But their personality and background can be adjusted somewhat to taste, and in those cases just include a 'Portrayal' section (or something similar) to explain your take on the character.

To be honest, there was nothing really concrete.
- Pyro would of been trying to establish himself as the second coming of Optimus Prime and vied for leadership of the Autobots.
- With Megatron presumed dead, the Deceptions would of initiated Project Re-Birth, modifying a lowly Decepticon into a duplicate of their fallen leader. Archforce would think that he was the true Megatron putting him at odds with Galvatron who he'd assume was the impostor. It would also probably of involved Straxus somehow but I hadn't really thought that far ahead.

Welcome to our roleplay! I'm currently working on the opening post with Crenando and Sir_Magic, but there's still plenty of time for character submission. To answer your question Spanner, no one as of yet has expressed interest in Cyclonus, so he's yours if you'd like him. In case you were wondering, BlurrZippy, another player has reserved Blurr, he just hasn't finished him.Our story will begin with the Decepticons attacking the Autobot controlled Iocan City on Cybertron. Tentatively interested. I'm not especially confident I'll portray any canon characters with the accuracy they deserve, but I've been craving the opportunity to try out a Transformers roleplay. Characters I'm interested in are Bluestreak for the Autobots and Shrapnel for the Decepticons. Also potentially interested in Pharma from the first IDW comics run if you're in need of a medic (albeit my characterization would probably differ pretty drastically from canon and predate everything that happened comic-wise so he isn't completely bonkers and at least someone competent. This is a pretty obscure choice either way so I understand if it's a no). I did peek through the character sheets and saw we're only allowed two characters per person, one for each faction, but I just wanted to check and see if these were all viable options before making any final decisions.

Any of the Transformers you listed could fit in nicely with what we're doing. Again, I'm giving leeway with personalities, so if you'd like to play a canon character as less "bonkers" or simple-minded (looks at dinobots) then they're commonly shown, that's perfectly fine. It's only the major/defining character natures like 'good,' 'wicked,' and 'courageous' that I want upheld. A slightly smarter Grimlock is acceptable, a cowardly Grimlock is not. 
For everyone else: I just messaged the opening post to Crenando. Once he gets back with me with Bumblebee's dialogue and actions we'll get rolling. So try and get your characters posted within the next few days.
