The imp had understanded her worries and he seemed very nice. Riza wondered who the girl he talked highly of was as he helped her up. The group started following him toward what must be his home. After welcomeing them in he began making a soup it looked like. He asked for some veggies,carrots onions and bell peppers I would love to help him make food Riza though. "ooh I'd love to get those for you!" Riza says to him. While looking for the items he requested she listened to him offering to the group either to help him catch sheep or tell him a good story for therngrass. "I'd love to help with both of those but the sheep has to be in my favor I have more experience with that then with story telling." Riza says as she hands him the veggies. "So why do you help us exactly? I've always heard that the imps were not that friendly." Riza looks around before deciding to sit on the floor and sits down.
"You know sheep really enjoy lettuce or apples if that is what we are doing. That is how I find mine sheep back when I was at home."

The students began to follow Professor Listam and Principal Cait on the rocky path up towards the mountains. They could the dragons beginning to reach the flying segments. Principal Cait walked besides Professor Listam and began to speak up to her.
I am quite excited to be visiting Cave Lumen. I always find it's quite a relaxing place. There's something almost serene about the cave. Supposedly a long time when the school was being built, they were carving out tunnels in the mountains to get materials to build the school but ended up finding the cave. What they found was quite something that made them decide to quit drilling through the mountains... Cave Sprites!" Principal Cait said smiling. Cait's face seemed to glow up excitedly.
"You know I find it quite a nice story because they were so worried about disturbing the sprites that they decided to leave the mountains alone and ship materials from the royal country instead The group of students and teachers continued to walk along the mountain range, till they ended up around the peak of the mountain where giant glowing mushrooms could be seen that illuminated the cave, different sprites could be seen flying around the vast cave.
one such sprite in particular came up to the principal.
"Ooh is that you Ms. Cait. Oh my gosh I haven't seen you since...well last year. You must catch me up on your life!"

Maxwell woke up with a massive headache. He must have passed out last night while trying out a new idea for a spell. He looked around an realized that he was apparently the last one to wake up today. Then he checked the time on his pocket watch and realized just how long he had slept in. "Shit" He muttered to himself. "This is... Not good..." He jumped out of bed, got dressed in better clothes, brushed his teeth, and ran outside to see if he could still get to the cave before the sun got too low. He had to be there to see it. He just HAD to! It was the first one he had seen in real life and he couldn't miss his chance. He just kept running and running. Hopefully he would get there in time.

Transition to mountain. Lorelei and Ezreal had a bit of catching up to do with the students and teachers who went up the mountain path. Lorelei had to constantly use wind magic to detect faint directions of where the group had done. Lorelei didn't really know what Cave Lumen was like, however it seemed something that was quite something if the way people talked about it during the rumors were any indication to go by.

However any speculation could not have brought up the idea of Cave Sprites living in a cave up in the mountains. It was quite beautiful, with all the glowing mushrooms and the cave sprites going about their day. It was a community had lived up.
"I've never seen anything like this before." Lorelei said sitting down on a rock. One of the sprites seemed quite interested in the principal, greeting her as if she was a long time friend. Other students were going about in awe, exploring the cave, even having conversations with some of the sprites.
"Huh. It's almost normal that everyone is here, although I'm certain it must have been strange for the sprites to have visitors at one point." She said to Ezreal, kicking back her feet and enjoying the view of the cave.

"Sarafine...good girl, if you ask me." Hyuuna said before she went along with the others into a small home where P'atas would cook something good. The smell of food made Hyuuna's stomach growl. "D'oh, I left my pig slop back at the dorm." She said out of disappointment. P'atas says that he is willing to help in exchange for either a good story, or herd some missing sheep. "Either way is fine, but the latter seems to be something I can decently do. Taught that by my parents." Hyuuna spoke before hearing Riza about sheep liking lettuce or apples. "You live in a farm? I live in one as well!" She said.

Riza was thrilled to find that she wasn't the only one to live on a farm. " P'atas where could these sheep be found so that we can gather our therngrass before it get dark out?" While waiting for his reply she started a conversation with hyunna. "I guess I never really asked but hyuuna what is you ability or power (ooc: just what items you can do like summon certain ppl or make shield.) as some people call it I've notice that you dont have armor or weapons?" "I can tell you some of my abilitys if you won't mind. Then we might have a better chance of understanding eachother.'' Riza says to hyuuna. "It ok if you don't really want to. One of my specialtys is growing plants!" Riza says happily. She turns to stare at Nathaniel " I still don't trust you very much, you just seem odd to me. Instincts are an interesting thing though sooooooo I guess I'll just have to trust you for now."

Zoe walked along side Emily listening to her story about the school stumbling upon the cave. It seemed to be quite a stroke of luck considering it also gave them a nice tourist place or somewhere to take the students. Then Emily mentioned cave sprites, her face lit up as she continued on with the story, it was the happiest Zoe had seen her so she decided to keep her mouth shut and nod while smiling, despite never hearing of cave sprites before, let alone seeing them. They continued walking the mountain range and from the looks of things, all the dragons had now reached the flying segment, along with this their group had reached the peak. Zoe turned around from looking at the dragons and was unable to move after seeing the cave. It was beautiful, the whole area was filled up with luminescent blue created by the mushrooms scattered around. To add to the incredibleness of the area, there were smaller lights floating around, at least Zoe thought they were lights until one came up to Emily and started speaking to her. Caught slightly off guard all Zoe could do was watch as they had a conversation like normal in what was already a surreal area.

After taking a moment to let it all sink in, Zoe made the choice to leave those two to their conversation and explore, she would keep it at a minimal amount as she still had to watch over the students first, but maybe at a later time she might come here on her own to look around some more. While taking a look around, Zoe noticed two more visitors enter, they weren't originally with this group, but they looked to be from the school so it was alright. 'Probably just coming from another event'. While walking past one of the mushrooms she gained a massive urge to poke it and see its reaction, but her professionalism managed to hold her back as to not act too immature around the students. In the end she decided to hold off doing anything stupid until she was alone, so instead she went up to a wall with a view of the cave and most of the students and sat down against it, letting everyone explore.

P'atas greatfully took the vegetables from Riza. When Riza had mentioned that she had heard the imps hadn't been that friendly, he looked up solemnly.
"Well we're not quite used to seeing humans often. When your ancestors had made the agreement to create this school in a pocket dimension, it was also a chance for endangered species to have a place peacefully away from danger. Many different monsters decided to be apart of the school's dimension hundreds of years ago, but we imps were always wary of humans so we ended up creating our own demiplane with the school's dimensions. Our ancestors had decided so long ago we weren't to interact with humans that we ended up shutting ourselves away until quite long after the school had been finished being built. Yes our sheep love eating vegetables, we're all vegans here so we don't really hunt or kill anything."

P'atas began to cook up the vegetables together in the spot while stirring it. Most of the students had seemed to be on the agreement of helping round up the sheep. When Hyuuna had mentioned Sarafine he smiled. "Ah yes young Sarafine. She had been the first human to enter this plane in hundreds of years. She must've graduated Avalos quite awhile ago now. I was a much younger man when she first came here."
P'atas had began to pour several bowls of pottage onto the table. He lined the old wooden table with silverware and motioned for everyone to sit and eat.
"Nothing like a good meal. So it seems you're all interested in the sheep. It's great to hear that so many of Avalo's young students have such experience with animals and farmland. They went missing by our great river a couple days ago. We've heard rumors of some of the wolves that live in the plane might've captured some of them. Perhaps you'd be willing to investigate with your teacher's supervision ofcourse. I too will accompany you all.

Lucian had been flying for quite awhile. He was sure he was far ahead of the other contestants. The mountain path was quite something and the view from the skies was quite nice.
From the skies he could easily see many Griffins in the mountain laying about. He could see in the distant that one appeared to be hurt. "Hold on, Priffydiaz, that one looks like it's injured."
Both Lucian and Priffydiaz began to land down by the mountain range, landing near a hurt griffin. This one seemed to have it's wing bleeding. What could have happened?

" Wow! " Riza says to p' atas. "So you think that the sheep may have been taken by wolves?" She sees P'atas nod. " Well I'm sure we can find them. I mean how hard can it be to find them? The hard part will be trying to get to them, if there still alive." Riza turns to the rest of the group "So should we split up or stay together? I don't think Professor Madare would mind to much if we helped P'atas in return for therngrass."

P'atas looked at the group. "Perhaps. But I have a feeling that something more could be happening, which is why I cannot let you all go there alone. I may not look like much but we imps know our own share of magic.

Lena thought that P'atas was right. Wolves would seem logical but experience had told her that it was never quite the simplest explanation.
"So we're expecting to fight? Well whatever it is, I'm sure my own magic can handle it." She said ready.
"So when do we go? Where is this river?" She said gearing up ready to go.

P'atas chuckled. It had been sometime since he experienced the readiness of humans. Perhaps the imps should get out into the world more.
"Well there are some rivers nearby past the village, I know of some caves where some of the farmers of the village have reported strange noises. Perhaps we could investigate as soon as you are all ready?"

When one of the cave sprites had walked up to Principal Cait, Cait welcomed the sprite with a hug.
"It is good to see you Julie. I hope things weren't too harsh during the winter. I would like to introduce you to our new archery teacher, Professor Listam.
Both Cait and Julie had walked over to the the other teacher who had done abit of her own exploring.
"This is our new archery teacher, Professor Listam." Principal Cait said as she motioned to Ms. Listam.
The sprite seemed excited to meet her. She bowed before Ms. Listam.
"Wow how did you find your way to teaching at Avalos? I'm always excited to know everyone's life story."

The Sprite however was interrupted by another Sprite that had walked up to Julie. This one was older and she looked quite regal, with a crystalline-like dress and scales on her skin.
"I'm sorry to interrupt but it's come to my attention that we need to discuss some things Principal Cait. If you would all excuse me and Ms. Cait. I'm sorry to have to do this.
This was quite strange, usually the sprites and the school didn't bother intefering with eachother's personal matters unless something was quite wrong.
"I see. Well then I'm sorry Julie and Ms. Listam, I must go but I will be back hopefully in a few minutes."
With that the principal and the older sprite began to walk away to a more secluded area.

With Ezreal and Lorelei having arrived to Cave Lumen, they could see the small... cityscape? The small village of sprites and the beautiful cave of sprites that could be seen interacting with students.
It was a beautiful place, with glowing mushrooms and small houses for sprites. Lorelei had looked over to Ezreal who had began to pull out a journal and begin writing in it after taking a seat next to her.
"What's this? Some kind of journal? You know you haven't really told me much about yourself? What kind of person are you like? What interests you?" Lorelei said.
Lorelei felt like she had explained abit about herself being in the student council but hadn't really learned too much about Ezreal.
There was also something about all the different monsters that had lived in the school's dimension. She wondered just what kinds of secrets the school held. It felt like such a peaceful place that was away from the troubles of the world.

"I'm also very ready to go!" Riza says. " I could scout if you want...from the air. And you guys could walk below. I can fight if I really need to I just prefer to not to get to involved." Riza turns and looks at each of them. Glancing briefly at the door. " So can we go then or should we make a plan?"

"I'm ready if it means bashing some heads." Hyuuna said with smile, cracking her knuckles. When asked about a plan, Hyuuna turns to the group and said "How about we just go right at em? I say with wallop them up and show them who's boss, and then we get the sheep."

Well I guess there will be some head bashing but I think we should find out where the sheep are and scout for good ambush spots before the head bashing part atleast then we have the element of surprise and we know the best way to get the sheep back here with out killing any of the sheep or us." Riza glances at her staff then at p' atas "so do you think I could glide on ahead and look from the skies or would it be better to just walk on the ground with you guys." "I don't think any of you can fly?" Riza says uncertain. She fiddles with her pouch of seeds "Ok let's figure out a plan or we could go and just run blindly and possibly end up hurt. What do you guys prefer?"

Maxwell got to the cave not a moment too soon. He went inside and walked up to the small flower that was growing in the bed of stones and dirt that had been made for it. The small beam of sunlight that streamed through the hole that had been made in the cave roof wasn't quite to the flower yet. He hadn't missed it. He sighed in relief as he sat down to wait. He had been in such a rush to see it bloom because it was an anniversary flower, which only boom in the light of the day on which they were planted. He had always wanted to see one up close. He had heard that if you are there when one blooms you can hear whispers from the person who planted it. He sat and waited in the cave alone for the small blue flower to bloom.

After a while of sitting and watching everyone, Zoe noticed as Emily and the sprite she was speaking to earlier approached. Emily started introducing her to the sprite, which caused her to quickly jump up and give a small bow to the spirit. ""Nice to meet you, I am Zoe Listam." While looking up at the spirit, Zoe began analysing them quickly. Don't appear too strong, probably uses magic to cause most damage, but numbers are their biggest advantage I would assume Quickly shaking her head, she tried to break out of the habit I am not looking to fight them either way, no need to start analysing them! The spirit began asking about how Zoe ended up as a teacher and right when she was about to start her story another, older and quite important looking sprite appeared and gave their apology as they had to speak about some things with Emily. Zoe gave a small glance to her, it looked like she was caught quite off guard as well, probably meaning she didn't know what the conversation was about to be about either.

As they both walked off Zoe watched them slowly walk out of sight, from how the older spirit sounded and how they conducted them-self, it didn't look to be a happy catching up session. Zoe let her mind run wild for a moment, thinking of all the possibilities it could be, but with so little information no real judgement could be made and she eventually gave up and decided to just see how they acted when they returned, plus Emily could probably handle anything small that might be an issue, and she appears to be the person smart enough to ask for help if she needs it. Slowly coming out of her daze, Zoe realised that she hadn't been left alone and that the sprite that came originally with Emily was still here, they seemed to be looking in the direction Emily and the other sprite left too, probably wondering similar things as to what Zoe just was. So taking a deep breath in, she decided to break the silence and finally answer her question. "So how I became a teacher? The short version would have to be that I wanted to explore a bit more of the world and to also help those who are willing to learn, but if we are telling the whole story it would have to start from when I was still a young child about 21 years ago now..."

"I think we should make a plan. Any of you guys have any decent ideas? If not what is your strongest fighting skill and we can work out a plan from that. Hopefully when we get there we will be prepared and sucssesful in our mission." Riza paused to look at P'atas. "Can wolves be reasoned with or do we have to do the whole headbashing thing? I do love a good head bashing but only as a last resort."

P'atas began to speak up in response to the students.
"Well the great river is actually just past the village, but beyond that are some caves. We've had some problems with wolves before around there but we had thought we got rid of them awhile ago. I'm not sure what has brought them back but I think we should be prepared for a battle in the worst case, although I don't expect wolves to be that dangerous since we possess magic."
P'atas had stood up grabbing his staff from the side of the kitchen before grabbing supplies and packing them quickly into a sack. It wasn't a long journey so he didn't pack much but he wanted to make sure he had tools to deal with anything too dangerous.

When one of the girls mentioned she could fly he responded with interest.
"Flight you say? Well I don't think that will be necessary it'll only take a few minutes to reach the caves. And these aren't intelligent wolves, just abit of a problem since they've been hard to track and get rid of. We thought we dealt with them but perhaps we missed some. Still it won't be necessary for us to continue talking here, we can continue while we head towards the caves." He said motioning for everyone to follow him as he headed to exit the village.


The group had made their way to the riverside where multiple caves could be seen. P'atas knew they had exteriminated most of these although he didn't quite recognize the third cave last time he visited here. There was also what looked to be a wreckage of scrap metal and weird blinking lights on parts of the metal.
"Hmm that's definitely new, the third cave to the left is new and this pile of metal wasn't here before. I think we have a new guest. It's best we should be careful entering the cave."
He said staring off towards the larger third cave.

Ezreal had replied about his journal. He explained how he tended to write about things in his journal whenever he found something new and exciting, going on about his interest in exploration and learning. Lorelei was suprised to hear his father was a mechanic. She was never quite sure what to expect from people's backgrounds since people all around the world came to Avalos to learn and improve their magic. In a sense Avalos was an equalizer. It wasn't important whether you were a noble, royalty, or some farmer's kid from a small village.

When he asked about Lorelei she began to speak up about her own life.
"Ah. I used to have parents till I ran away when i was little. Since then I kinda just been roaming about the countries, learning things from people and just going on my own journey. I ended up developing my own magic and was thinking about maybe becoming a doctor but then I got invited to Avalos and thought that'd bring me more credibility for that once I graduated.

Magic is a really interesting thing to be honest. Everyone here kinda is different especially in the type of magic they specialize. Even two pyromancers might have some unique spells to themselves. I'm not sure what your magic entails but I'm a stormchaser. I manipulate weather...wind, storms, lightning."

Riza looked at the scrap pile in wonder. Now what would that be needed for? Oh well maybe there will be some clues in the cave. Riza peeks into the dark hole. "It really smells! Yuck! You sure we can't just lure the wolves out instead of going in,P'atas?"
