Name: Gabriella Aliyah Monroe
Stage Name: H.E.R.
Faceclaim: H.E.R (Gabriella Wilson)
Music Claim: H.E.R.
Age: 17 (at beginning of rp)
Classification: Senior
Academy: Theatre/Music
Sports: none
Clubs: Theatre

Short Bio: Gabriella was born in the Bay Area of California to a Filipina mother and African-American father. She found success at a young age, making it to Sunday Best at 10 years old, but coming up short as the runner up at the competition. Despite that, she received a lot of attention and offers even at her young age. She eventually landed the lead roll on Broadway's Annie at the age of 12 receiving a Tony for her efforts, before leaving Broadway at 14 to pursue a singing career. She didn't get much traction in that realm, aside from her cover Drake's Jungle that went viral. The lack of progress drove her into a depression and she disappeared virtually from the face of the world, opting for homeschooling instead. At age 16 she released an anonymous EP under the pseudonym "H.E.R" which received rave reviews before she dropped the second volume six months later. She caught wind of Labissiere from her sound engineer and was convinced if she could be successful there, she could be successful anywhere. Besides, she still needed to go to school right? So she quit home school and transferred to Labissiere much to the adoration and excitement of the administration, with stipulations that allowed for travel for shows and the like.

Name: Akamu Jordan Masoli-Michael
Age:18 (borng August 17th)
Height: 6'3
Classification: Junior
Academy: Graphic Design
Sports: Baseball, Starting Catcher and Second Basemen
Brief Bio: Being the son of a famous fashion designer and a famous filmmaker meant you got to have all of the things you wanted. Except, your parents. He was born in New York City and grew up on the Upper Eastside until he was 5, which was about the time his parents had divorced. His mother sent him to live her family on the island of Molokai on their farm because he had grown to be something of a spoiled brat, despite the context of his father. (his mother won the custody case) His mother had switched her main home to Hawaii so she could spend most of her down time with her son. Akamu picked up surfing and had become a pro by the age of 13 like his grandfather, winning tournaments and become a top 10 surfer in the world. He took this time to drop out of High School which enraged both his mother and father. Though he was winning tournaments, surfing didn't pay much and most of his sponsors (like his mother's clothing company) his mother had power and influence behind and he would lose them if she said so. So he gave in and after a year was shipped off to Labissiere despite being a year behind his counterparts. This is his first year at Labissiere and he isn't sure what to expect.

Carter Dawkins
18 | 6’3” | 220
Senior | Marketing | Football [Starting QB]
Carter came from a simple home. He is the only son to his mother Patricia and father William. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He grew up going to church every Sunday followed by peewee football. His father always had big dreams for his son and made sure to give him the very best opportunity to achieve those dreams. Growing up he didn’t like spending his time focused on football and practicing different plays in the yard while the other kids played tag and hide and seek. But soon his fathers dreams became his own. He wasn’t the richest of the rich but they lived a comfortable life. His mother was a hairdresser making her own hours so she can be there for Carter whenever he had a game or other responsibilities to be met. His father was an engineer. He played football through out his entire life and continues to here at Labissiere. Football was one of the biggest reasons he came to Labissiere, to have the best opportunity to make it to a D1 school and then the NFL. You’ll occasionally find him at a party or chilling around campus. However, his focus are his studies and his dream.

Academic Program: Marketing and Dance (Soon to be Fashion)

Bio: Born in Manhattan, New York, Melanie spent most of her life dreaming big from her bedroom in an apartment in Manhattan. Her mother was a nurse and her father passed away when she was 6. Her mother and aunt put her into dance classes after he passed away in order to give her an outlet. While Melanie did enjoy it, she wasn't a very big fan of the classical side of dance, she enjoyed tap and hip-hop and Jazz. Her time in competitions had taken her all over New York and she had met so many different people like one of her closest friends Jennifer. They had kept in touch off and on for some time during their competition days and even competed on the same team for some time. Once she turned 15 she stopped doing competitive dancing and decided to dedicate her time to her true passion fashion. She had been drawing up designs and sewing since she was 8. Her grandmother had taught her to sew and she just took off from there. After some convince Jenni had encouraged her to audition for Labissiere and she got in. Luckily she was awarded a scholarship and was able to go. She is now using dance as a way to get through the academy until the fashion department is opened. Then she can begin embarking on the path to developing her fashion empire.
