Hectic few days, but things are moving along.

Question: for goblins it says in the setting document that they get 3 attribute points per member. With 6 bodies that makes 18 points, are they treated like regular XP, on top of the 60XP everyone starts with for attributes?

My keyboard crapped out on me or I'd have gotten back to you sooner.

I'm actually toying with re-writing that; here's what I've got.

Each Goblin contributes 1 point of a Physical Attribute, so all six working together can reach Strength 6, for example.
Then you get 48XP for the other six Attributes.

Yeah, I'd probably abandon their caps in this case because you can't always fit all six around something requiring six Strength.
Like even if you had them collectively wield a big fuckin' sword, it'd be hard to leverage their full combined strength when swinging it, for example.
 
More streamlined chargen stuff, even though it looks like everyone dropped out I might as well have it somewhere.

All Attributes start at 1. You have 60 Attribute XP (see exceptions).
You can spend it according to the chart below.

All Skills start at 0. You have 60 SKill XP.
You can spend it according to the below chart.

Note that Skills are general until level 3. From level 4 onward, choose a Focus - a particular area of the Skill where your character has put in extra practice. You can have multiple Foci, and the cost is the same every time you buy a new one.

Next, choose 3 Advantages. These are reflections of your background, education, and social role.
For your Familiarity, choose 3 Social Skills and a situation in which they are specially honed - for example, Courtly Manners or Criminal Gangs.
For your Knowledge, choose 3 Mental Skills and a field of study or academic practice where they are particularly focused - for example, Manatech or Crime Scene Investigation
For your Training, choose EITHER 3 Physical Skills and a particular style of engagement (or disengagement) where they're most practiced - for example, Sniping or Brawling
OR choose a Martial Art that you qualify for and select the appropriate Techniques.

Finally, apply static values like Health, Condition, or other and calculate dervied stats like the combat block according to the below list

And yes, a goblin is a teeny little hivemind
 
It's one I made; I believe I put the basics of chargen in the character thread, and the setting document should have the more complete rules (with a little editing still to be done; the core game is feature complete but this spin-off needs polish).

Nice. I think I'm gonna go with what I planned on before, either a Magi (specifically an edgelord atheist troll Magi) or a Scion (probably Hulbrad again, but I kind of like the idea of a bastard Lybar)
 
Also, can I get a refresher on how magic and Scion abilities work?

And the Elementals and other Paths, for that matter, if it's not too much trouble? I like knowing my options.
 
Okay so my edgelord troll magi concept has mutated from "asshole atheist" to "metal singer wannabe" so would most trolls regard using instruments to create music as offensive in any way?

Nope. Kind of... weak, but that's not quite right. Sounds like they're going to be a bit of an outsider anyway so they're just going to be considered weird rather than offensive. Maybe some elders would be offended but lol ok crooner

Fair enough. He's still learning how to blaspheme properly.
 
Work on the idea and we can always tweak him to blaspheme harder, if you want him to be a serious outcast and religious criminal.
Still a Magus or just the world's biggest guitarist?
