The way Aozora reacted was nothing less than ... shock ? Terror ? The Swarms of Darkness surrounding her. The feeling of dread, confusion , and inferiority all weighed down uponShe recognized these things, albeit barely. They were the ones who killed her mother, as she saw the hind of yellow eyes before her mother met her unfortunate end. Her terror turned to anger, her newly acquired weapon in her hands. It was so familiar yet foreign, like an extension of her soul was able to be held in front of her. She clasped at the weapon, and without any further way to wrestle her way out of this one, she charged.

"... I... Won't let you all get away! AHHH " . Testing the enhance technique, she was amazed to see it actually work on the Keyblade, and it was now enclosed with a yellow aura. She then slashed then with such force it wasn't even remotely funny. She chased down each and every shadow creature and made sure none escaped. It was strange, this feeling ofcombat, it appalled her yet was familiar, like somewhere before she's done something like this.

Knowing however this would last a small Eternity and she knew she didn't have the stamina to continue the fight, the young girl nodded to the voice, hoping she can see it again. She attempted to head through the dark portal, arming herself for whatever she would see down the line. Her eyes were scanning for any attempts at life here.

It was nothing. A pure void. A void of despair and darkness. But the portal has since closed up. There was no going back. So, she merely wandered into the depths , truly trying her best with the waves upon waves of heartless in her wake.

Somehow, someway, she managed to survive this long. Due to her sheer determination and formidable strength of heart, that was all that was. She was creepingalong, barely able to stand, her Keyblade shaking in her hands. It was bad enough she did what she did, but actively she knew , and her Keyblade hopefully did, she did it for all the right reasons. Hopefully.

  • Running yet nothing chased. The lone guardian of gateways continued down the corridor of light. A gentle breeze accompanies as an attempt to quell the anger. As the girl passed through the corridor it slowly dissipated unlike the quick sharp snap of the others. The platform was just a straight path in. Gentle, welcoming.

Platforms. Unlike the lone door these colorful platforms seemed to extend a multitude of ways. Yet none went anywhere merely stopping in midair. Dangerous but they were a clear sign that there was more to this world. A teasing of a way away from the current room. The auroras twisted and shifted as they illuminated the path created.

Dynamic additions added to the floor. The once hyper-saturated colors now had low light areas. Water became waves, rock became valleys, the aurora became a wider array of colors filling in with a blue to add to the purple twisting in like it had always existed that way.

And just as every other before a glyph appeared in the center making the shape even more of a semi circle.

Well isn't this the strangest pajama party Alice was forcefully invited too, her new found roommates ranged from this guys alright to hi i'm probably going to get you all killed. They haven't even teemed up yet and Alice is already thinking about using him as escape bait the first chance she gets. "listen I don't care if you do or do not trust the voice or not, ill be honest I think this is a bit fishy too. But what I do know is we cant leave until you touch the glyph. So regardless of how many people end up joining us I hope you don't plan on leaving us locked in this room forever." Despite all this she hates too admit it but he has a point they where all brought here with little rime or reason, so she can see why one wouldn't want too trust the voices and it seems too be everyone was introduce to there new found weapon the same way by killing a shadow without any will of there own. That would point towards some possible evil, but they where granted power without any strings attached, no there is defiantly a string attached its just likely they wont find out about it until there all done with this. As she was thinking this a new girl appeared in there room with them Gateways as the voice called her. "Well it looks like you got wish Space." she looks over at the older girl and shouts at her "Go ahead and touch the glyph it will heal you up and like it did us." this girl seems more capable then the other two hopefully she will make for a better teammate then space here.

  • The world was covered in darkness. Yet it was not the world of darkness. He wouldn’t put any fault in the pure dread he saw in this little one’s eyes. After all, few that were entrusted by the keyblade lasted long under its weight. Through no fault of their own, not a single one was needless. They keyblades always guided their chosen until they didn’t need to any longer. Some simply couldn’t flourish under the weight. No some simply refused to flourish under the responsibility. Yet this little one is the one the Key had decided would replace him.

    Guardian_of_Lightning.jpg

He watched from his perch upon a hill of shadow. This world had been ravaged, broken down by battle. Frozen, yet repeating. An endless cycle. The ragged starlight knights desperately searching for what heartless would cure them of the nobody’s cursed screeches in the final remnants of the world once known for its lush greenery and whirlpools and waves. This world once known as Gulganaus. He lowered his blade as he sealed the doorway behind him.

Three days. This child repeated three days without noticing. Such is the way of the new potential keyblade wielders. Luckily these sleeping worlds were torn from the constraints of time. She would still be punted back to the time she entered. Well no more than a few minutes after that is. He had watched, her potential was rough.

He was determined not to jump in until the girl would recognize either that she was not completely surrounded by shadow, or that she awoke to realize that she was but repeating actions. Neither happened, but in a strange series of minute differences, she managed to get herself into a situation she couldn’t withstand. The Nobody approached. A Shell of apathy. The cause of such sad circumstances.

It’s ghastly appearance was a horror to behold. The once kind woman and regal princess now had her hair in disarray, the braid pulled loose yet still a tangled mess hanging down the left of her face. Her jeweled headdress lost and her feet bare with her outfit caked with mud. He’d known her before this world was sealed off. This sobbing wailing banshee that had overtaken her was no longer the same woman.

    e32765e5db11c6ed4ecf8c71d08cba08.jpg

Now this was too active a threat for a newly awakened keyblade wielder. He brought forth a storm. Lighting struck down an entire hoard of approaching heartless with multiple dozen lighting bolts. Weak, it seemed this little girl was already taking from his power, even without the full ceremony. He was quick to grab her and flee before the Nobody could approach.

Now as he placed her down he looked at her fully. Well now he would need to explain. Then again where to begin? Did he cripple her confidence right away or explain it slow enough that she might still wish to hold her blade up high? Yet before he could decide he was speaking.

“Just what is wrong with you? Why have you decided to rush so foolheartedly into danger that even your own keyblade has shifted your course away and used any of our lingering power to help guide the foolish you?”

Aozora was about as frightened as say a child should be. Her eyes dilating at the newcomer. She can genuinely feel the power coming off of her, and the lack of emotion from her. In a sense, she could feel the malice pouring out of her. She gripped her Keyblade hard, ready for anything to happen as of this point.

She clearly wasn't ready for anything, though, as thunder based attacks reigned from what seemed to be the sidelines. She thought it was going to hit her, but whisked away some of the enemies and provided a rather suitable cover for her and some unknown individual to escape. She let herself be carried as she had this weird feeling he was there to help.

Her eyes widened at seeing the elder before her. She felt this strange connection between her, then for some reason it all clicked, especially from what he told her about 'following the path'. That voice helped him before and they went on successful paths, whole she didn't listen. She looked down in shame " I'm so sorry mister I ... I saw someone I .. I knew fell in here, and I didn't want to abandon them. I wanted to help, if I could, regardless of the risks. Please forgive me " . She saw bowing. At least mannerisms weren't a foreign concept to the young lad.

USHA LOUVEL

The light that she treaded gave a warmth that calmed her raging anger, it was unnerving but probably for the best. Remembering her father's words, "You must always think with a calm heart, anger will get you nowhere but more trouble." Slowly, the light crumpled and gave way to a colorful platform. Familiar yet new.

A voice in her head once again spoke to her. She wondered who it was. A conscience? The voice of a Guardian Angel? "Go ahead and touch the glyph it will heal you up and like it did us." Someone said to her, not noticing that there were others. She stared at them, etching their features into memory. The voice said that she was the fourth, and judging by how many are on the platform that they were the others. "Don't worry, I have no intention of not following the voice. It led me away from those... abominations after all."

She walked to the glyph, and kneeled, giving it a curious gaze. "Power, huh?" She shifted her blade into a different position and stabbed the glyph. Although there wasn't much healing needed for her she felt a surge of power in her. She stood up and flicked her hair to the back. "So what's next? Are we just gonna stand around?" She said rather impatiently, resting her free hand on her hips, blade stuck like glue to her other hand.

Amalia Dennea
Guardian of Novas

Kicking a heartless in the face Amalia managed to knock the creature back far enough to allow her to use her Keyblade effectively. Planting her feet she swung the blade around, using her torso as a means to throw weight behind the attack. Pivoting and with a twirl she spun the blade low, catching it halfway down and guiding it up in an uppercut like fashion into the heartless. The attack threw the creature up into the air, the momentum of the attack carrying her up. Acting partially on training but mostly on the guiding spirit of the blade the black haired girl spun around midair to catch the creature with the blunt end of the weapon, slamming it back into the ground. Landing rather hard Amalia let out a gasp as she felt her body tense up in pain, her muscles screaming from exertion, it had been awhile since she had such an intense workout... but did that mean this wasn't a dream?

The thought was smacked out of her head as she heard a voice boom loudly, her eyes catching the other human entering. She stared for a second, her mind forgetting the scuttling heartless barrling her way. Hearing scratching she turned her head just in time to catch a heartless leaping at her. Bringing the blade around the creature impaled itself on the end of the blade, scratching and trying to claw at her the entire descent before finally dissipating before reaching her. Eyes going wide she scurried up and onto her feet, turning and running towards the new arrival. "Theres nothing wrong with running every now and then!" She shouted. Running up to him she looked him up and down only to see a partially mewling mess seemingly on the verge of a breakdown, but a welcome mess none the less. Taking his hand she gave it a quick tug "It said escape to the light, I don't see any other option. So, do mind your head because I do not know where this goes but we are totally going to find out." The black haired girl mused through partially gritted teeth. The wounds on her legs made running painful, but the other option seemed even more painful.

  • The new guardian approached their glyph as they stabbed into the color blue-violet bled into the glyph and gave the woman a rush of power. The glyph called out to the magic in the young guardian pushing it to the forefront. Magic with an unknown source of knowledge and source. As the similar click of an opening lock came up the door in the corner was now fully solid.

Approaching this door would reveal that it was still impossible to budge. The handles, though possible to touch, would burn anyone who attempted it until all the guardians were ready to move onward. The Numbers on the floor still stood at just four out of the presumed space for ten symbols. If that was so then why was this door fully formed already? What was missing?

Amazing he didn’t know just what went on in this dude’s head. Actually he was a bit worried, the guy wasn’t wrong but there was going to be a great deal of trouble if he didn’t calm down. Yes, in the long run, his body moving on its own should worry him. Especially since it seemed this wasn’t confined to just him. Problem was it wasn’t exactly the time to panic. How could they ever manage their way out if they weren’t willing to trust each other?

After all the small girl seemed fine and she had also activated hers, he was fine and he activated his. This one was just being stubborn. But just hearing what exactly just happened to normies that used magic, he couldn’t help but cringe. Did his world just all go cie'th if they used magic? How terrifying.

    “That’s not supposed to happen…”

He found himself speaking before he could stop himself but luckily he was drowned out by the younger girl speaking up. Well she was dead right it wasn’t like they could just ignore the voice either. They had no proof that it was a benevolent one but they did have proof that it wasn’t wrong as it warned them away from the monsters.

Fortunately the arrival of a new person would take them out of the cycle of words. He turned and watched as the girl confidently continued on doing as the voice said. Well that at least made one thing easier. Proof number two. He turned back to the stubborn boy again. He let out an audible sigh as he got closer to the boy. With a slap on the shoulder he started to introduce himself.

“Look, we’re all stressed okay. I’m sure no one got here peacefully. Yeah I had shit chase me down too, but you know like that voice said there’s still others waiting. We’ve already seen it's safe, They did it and so did I, we can deal with whatever comes after when it comes. If we were controlled once we could be controlled again. When it comes down to it all we have are our actions.”

He stepped back letting go of the boy’s shoulder. He turned so that he was facing the boy and reached out his hand for a handshake.

“Let’s start over. I’m Daichi Kobayashi, and you are?”

  • Foolish, blind. Someone she knew fell in here? Impossible. All guardians would be asleep or transported away. Even years back when he awoke with the wind they had never been foolhardy enough to blatantly disregard their predecessors. He knew that Wind, and Nova were doing their best to keep their chosen safe, could feel it through their bond. Yet here was his successor foolishly following an unknown hazard because of a similar memory.

No not foolish, a pain cut through him as he remembered just what seeing your world in peril could do. But just as impossible. He raised his blade nicked and wore down as his own light grew weak, a mark of the readiness of the Thunder Keyblade to move on as the second charm faded in and out of existence between his own blade. This girl was chosen yet it was not reappearing on hers.

Of course it wasn’t she may not have realized it but leaving without being able to unlock her power… it would only weaken her in the long run. You could only avoid destiny for so long. He raised his keyblade to the girl. There was no portal, there was no location. He couldn’t get her back that way.

“Stay still. You’ll fall asleep, and when you awaken you’ll find yourself just before the door. Enter it and find the other guardians. Or else you may never gain the power you need to survive even another day let alone another year.”

With that the man summoned a quick decisive ray of light to appear before his blade shooting through and unlocking the girl’s heart. Return. Back to the core of your own heart. The girl would fall to the inevitability of sleep before awakening to find herself just on the edge of the plaza.

Aozora was about to make a statement, nothing snidy or foolish, but something about what he said compiled her to obey. It was one of those things in which she realized he was here to help and there was going to be no going back. She wanted to ask this question, but the response she was given caused it to halt and just say. So, she merely accepted what was about to become of her. She closed her eyes and steaded her breathing, waiting for whatever was to come to come. Now, due to that little scurmish, she has been a bit anxious around other people. But, it isn't anywhere near as bad as one would believe.

As the soft light penetrated through her heart essentially, it was as if everything was both locking in some ways, and unlocking in others . It was as if a foreign power was finally being introduced, albeit not in full just yet. Every human instinct was telling her to fight it, but her mind was saying to calm down and focus on the voice that talked to her. She hoped for a response, hoped for some form of comfort through it. Well, she got the voice she heard before , and it sounded familiar. She wanted to ask if it was him, but she was already very much asleep.

As she heard the voice repeat it's dim warning, her mind responded "I... I apologize. I didn't mean to disobey you so thoroughly, but.. my friend matters so much to me I'm willing to make any sacrifice. But, if there is someone needing me, I'll do my best to help them. Thank you for helping me... I... I hope I can pay that back some day". With that, the essentially teleportation happened. She was inwardly freaking out as she didn't have any idea what this would do to her, but she believed with everything she had that it would go smoothly. She didn't exactly know where she was going actually, but it seemed like where she was heading, there were others there as well according to what the voice proclaimed

Eventually the young girl made it to the plaza, materializing there, landing as smoothly as she could though she did tumble a bit. Her eyes looked to the others before a small smile creeped up on her. Were these her friends actually ? No no no she shouldn't jump the gun just yet. Just because they were allies didn't immediately mean they were friends, but she wanted oh so badly to consider them as friends since she genuinely only had 1 friend which she would have to find as time goes on. She wanted to say hi, but her shyness kicked in with the small group and didn't say a word, shuffling her feet and lowering her head down. All she did now was wait to see what exactly should be done to prove her own worth.

Yue-Jui | No Clue

"I hope you don't plan on leaving us locked in this room forever" Yue-Jui mocked in a dramatic nasally, squeak of a whining tone. "Zat, zat dere is wat you sound like cutie pie," he said to the Blue haired lass. Despite the nickname at the end his expression was the exact opposite of cordial. "I've got no intention of doing zat missie. I--" which was when he heard the doors and turned to see what Twister woulda called 'a smoking bill'.

Which honestly made it sorta disappointing when this same smokin hot bill just waltzed on over to the glyph and jabbed her weapon in like it was just another normal day.

Un-frackin-beeliebable Jui thought as he eyed miss hot bill, up and down in clear confusion. The question she asked next honestly made him roll his eyes just a little as he looked away. Staring at the door. He was tempted to answer her, and was about to- till that damn voice spoke in his head again- and just like that Jui was doing spins. Looking around with a snickering grimace as his body felt just a bit warmer from the nerves kicking in.

"Why we hesitate" he muttered under his breath, pointing his blade at no one in particular but keeping his guard, "as if you don't already know." Then again, he wasn't sure he knew if the voice knew that what he thought he knew was the right thing. It might actually just be frazzled nerves, after all- to these folk he was probably the craziest guy in the room. The fact all of this was real just made this a bit more jarring and having random voices he didn't invite into his headspace, honestly felt seriously violating.

"Tck," he clicked his tongue. Standing a little straighter, just now realizing how tense his muscles were and why he was starting to feel sore. "Damn it...weirdest trip o my life he grumbled. "Can't believe dis crud, stuck in a room wif two babes n a dude without drinks or games to help chill the mood. Just monsters and tricksters slinking all around, so wack, would really like to get off zis crazy track."

Wiping his forehead, Yue-Jui sighed. Deciding to at least stretch and ease the soreness of his body while they waited for whoever was coming next. Last ones certainly meant there was more than one coming, but how many exactly remained to be seen. However, he glanced furtively back to the others, these guys r gonna start pushing more pressure down me if I don't do something t get em t lay off.

It was then he noticed Rock Boy approaching, and after hearing what he had to say, Die-Itchy if he was thinking how that was said was right, might have had some sort of point. But...

Jui's jaw clenched. He really didn't want to take the risk. Like, really. If the others had sealed their fates and if he could find someway to help them out later- then he would, but if sticking his key in there meant getting mentally screwed over, then...

Well, at least he could have the decency to introduce himself first. Baby steps. One thing at a time. Grabbing Die-itchy's hand and shaking, he replied, "Chong Yue-Jui. At least your were nice enough to introduce yaself, unlike cutie pie over there!" he said to the Blue haired girl with narrowed eyes and a hint of a smile. "Anyway," he continued, with his attention back to Die-itchy. "I get it Die-itchy," Jui sighed, letting the other's hand go as he scratched his forehead. His eyes glanced to the glyphs, and for a few seconds he was silent. Thinking. Weighing options. Maybe if he could resist it, it would be fine he told himself. Nodding his head slightly as he considered it.

At least till his eyes caught sight of another glyph appearing, and in that same instant Jui immediately turned to look for their new party member. His eyes locking on to a new girl, holding a key sword just like the rest of them. She smiled, but then that was pretty much it. A smile and looking away, didn't even bother coming closer.

Oh wat the wat? Don't do that! Don't play that shy game, I can see from your clothes that you did some demon beatin also! Is zis some kinda trick, using a shy one ta get me defenses down huh?!

"OIII! Jui called loudly to the girl in friendly greet, deciding he could waste a bit more time instead of doing the deed, "welcome to the club! I was just about to go get me a level up meself" he said pointing his weapon towards the center of the room as he approached. "Tap itwiff your sword n you'll get a wonderful power up!" Jui informed, flexing a bicep in jocular manner, buying himself time to really work up the nerve to do this thing that was honestly insane. "I'm Yue-Jui", he said with an offer of his hand to the miss. "Zat zere iz Die-itchy" he said jabbing his blade in the guy's direction. "N miss smokin bill and the cutie pie" he pointed to their latest entry and miss blue, "will probs introduce themselves when they are ready--" he said while glancing at the two, with a cocky wag of his brows, before returning his attention to the new girl."But you? Wat might I call you?"

"Well it seems like we now wait for others to arrive plus get this stubborn green ox to do the same thing the rest of us did." She says to the new girl while pointing at said ox.
Alice looked over the newly sold door it seems to be almost ready they just needed a few other things to make it open, maybe a few more people or the ox too finally do his job.
Her focus was suddenly broken when she heard the ox making fun of her. "Cutie pie? normally I'd be flattered but coming form you that sounds annoying, and I do not sound like that!" Alice screams at Yue with an embarrassed but angry blush on her face. "Now do your job, hey don't ignore me!" Yue would run off and flirt with a new shy girl who just entered the room.
"Oh really a cute face shows up and now you'll do the job unbelievable." she then heard him use the name again and with that, she aims her blade at yew making sure to miss him by a small inch, and then fires a ray of blizzard at him. "My name is Alice Hazel Sorrel! call me cutie pie again and next time I won't miss. Now stab the image before I get stabby!" After that, they could hear the sounds of thunder seems like the voices are coming back again.

Bewildered, the boy just seemingly blinked at the new arrival with his mismatched eyes. Who was she? Why had someone else just materialised into this fever dream? Restless thoughts bounced about his head as he began to register what had taken place moments prior. Cato couldn’t help but scowl as the former person had left a rather bitter aftertaste in his pool of emotions, this addition of being tugged by his worn hand. The boy was honestly too high on adrenaline to really notice anything else as his mind was fixated on the raging just meters from them, widened eyes casting glares at the incoming heartless as he hoisted his light blade high above his discoloured face. Spouting a loud angry yell as he tried to lob his keyblade at a incoming flame core, throwing it as if it some kind of frisbee into the mass that had a flame dancing above its eyes.
Panting slightly as Cato had lost his breathe while being a angry mess at the unfairness he felt, surely this couldn’t truly been reality? At the same time Cato’s thoughts waved about, he had been on a train; yep he had clearly been dreaming but what if he had missed his stop. Oh gash, what would his peers say?

Turning back to the older girl he would hastily reply with a rather heated temperament. “I’m not running til I get my bracelet back! ” He spat before his white hot glare returned to the fire‘s hue that had been painting a peachy glow on his skin hiding the fact that he felt rather off due to his ankle deciding to make his life a whole lot harder but Cato had resorted to limping slightly as he pressed his weight on his bare toes. Yet he still refused to flee for other reasons other then his foot, he couldn’t pin point where the creat were exactly as his sally tears had clouded his vision to nothing but blotches. Blending in with the darkness surrounding the pair, followed by a clumsily use of Aero that (thankfully) connected, throwing a few of the creatures into the air. Exhaling with a pair of shaky shoulders, curling his fingers back into his palms as his ragged nails dug into his clammy hands. Struggling to deal with just how cold he felt with or without the appearance of fire, he still felt his spine was going to curl in on it self due or the constant shuddering of his lithe body.

perhaps they really should flee to the “light“ he did recall noticing since she mentioned it, however Cato’s body was clued to the shadowy floor, unmoving from the spot he had been rooted on. His head was stuck glancing to the right away from the other adolescence due to his childish actions before hand and the fact he looked like he going to sob or at least lash at something nearby, clutching his weapon that had soon returned to him after bashing a monster in the facial region of whatever it was opposed to actually be.

USHA LOUVEL

Usha raised her brow when the blue-haired teen mentioned of a stubborn ox and noticed that he looked at her with such confusion that made her wonder. She heard the voice spoke again as the others did but she paid no mind as there was nothing to do with it for now. She looked down at the floor and studied it. What are we doing here?

She blocked them all from her mind until she heard the click of a tongue. She gave the green-haired teen with an unsure look, she understood most parts of what he said but even then she didn't like it. Another approached him and talked to him in a mild manner, introducing himself as Daichi which seemed to do the trick. If she was ever here earlier she might have dragged Yue to the glyph and give him a good smack.

"You guys only just met and you're already flirting, huh." She muttered under her breath at the two before the coming of someone new. Giving out a sigh as her hand touched her forehead as Yue turned his attention to the new kid while Hazel nagged on.

Usha didn't want to comment on further, it was already noisy enough as is. That is until she heard herself being called "Smokin' Bill." She wasn't pleased by this, even more than Hazel being called "Cutie pie." Giving Yue a menacing squint as he continued talking to the newcomer, reminding herself to give him a piece of her mind from being cat-called. "Usha Louvel." She started with her name before continuing with a rather cold tone, "You should start stabbing those glyphs of yours so we can get going by the time all of us are present." She said to the two.

  • As the girl walked on to her new allies the semi-stable portal made with the help of her predecessor faded away. Unlike the corridors, this left with no grand snap but a mere slow fade. This was the first step onwards, and when her foot hit the floor the plaza came alive, the noise of unintelligible background words, the sound of water, the feel of city life came with.

A glyph appeared just like all others before while the floor managed to hit it’s V mark with a single sound. Unlike the others this time no voice came up. They were halfway there as far as the floor implied. The reason would be unclear yet barely noticed before yet before long, another corridor was snapping open.

Glancing back to Cato she made sure that he was following her, although rather slowly with a gait that showed injury. Slowing down some she made sure he had a chance to catch up, unable to just leave him behind. Continuing on with Cato she risked a look back in time to see a gust of wind fly and sweep nearly a dozen of them up and away from them, giving them a short window of clearance to reach the light. Willing herself forward she gave Cato a little push not wanting to wait to see if he would hesitate like he had only moments before. Stopping for a long second at the wall of light she gazed back into the room she had been in for some time now. Gazing at the heartless charging towards her Amy's expression seemed to change, going from disgust to interest. Finally turning she began to step through the wall as a heartless sprinted out and latched onto her back, pushing her forward and through the wall of light.

Tumbling out of the corridor she landed on her stomach with a thud, the heartless on her back did not claw though it latched onto her and would not move, the heavy feeling signalling to Amy that something was on top of her. Despite the wall of light the creature seemed to make it through, as if using Amy as a means of traversing what would otherwise be impossible. Laying entirely still for a second the black hair girl didn't know what to do, though after a second she began to roll back and forth trying to get the creature off. "What the hell!" Amy screamed before reaching onto her back and gripping the creature. Tearing it off herself she began to raise it above her head before it suddenly disappeared entirely. Looking up the heartless was gone before she had a chance to hurl it off, though where Amy once had no shadow, a shadow was now present.

Taking a few deep breaths she put her hands up and on her head, keeping her arms above the rest of her body. "Totally not in wonderland anymore.." Amy began to say as she turned to finally take in her surroundings. Her eyes locked onto the others before she felt a massive tug on her body. Her key suddenly lifted up and began to pull her towards her glyph. Swallowing hard the feeling only began to intensify as Amy got wrapped up in the impulse, the world around her dimming entirely before the only thing in front of her was her glyph. Amy continued in straight line towards the glyph before she took the first step onto it. Immediately light erupted up, enveloping Amy in a Nova of cascading light as her wounds seemed to burn away. Even her new shadow seemed to waiver and flicker, yet through the cascade of light it remained, not growing or changing with the perspective of the light.

"Wow, I feel like I just took a plunge in Skunzberry Pond." Amy said as goosebumps formed all across her skin. Amy finally heard noise nearby, her mind reminding her that there were others here. Looking towards the group she began to slowly walk towards them, cautiously approaching.

Aozora was a bit tense originally. She definitely didn't expect to go ahead and get introduced so quickly. She almost jumped out of surprised, but then the sweetest giggle came out of her. She definitely wasn't expecting this greeting , but she wouldn't ignore it. Especially considering that they seemed nice. She said "Oh, I'm sorry. Where are my manners. Um, Hello. I'm Aozora. It's nice to meet the both of you. But, uhmm... You can call me whatever you wan-- "

Before she could say anything everyone suddenly erupted with conversation, making her gasp. But then, she looked embarrassed, with a face so red a tomato would seem jealous, with both hands over her mouth. Essentially Alice just called her 'cute'. In a hushed and whispered voice, she mutted "C-C-Cute ?" She was so stunned that let's be honest, she wasn't expecting it. A lot of things she was perhaps thinking of, but that wasn't one of them.

She managed to calm herself down enough to look at the image the other was talking about. A suppose image of power almost like the symbol the man was using from before. It felt old, ancient, as if it existed far more than she could imagine. Honestly her eyes dazzled as it was pretty apparent this was going to be an interesting group and her theories definitely weren't wrong. Especially considering the fact her keyblade responded to another one of the glyphs. As if it pulled down to her, she sort of allowed herself to be willed to another of the glyphs. And instinctively, with all the force she mustered, she stabbed into the glyph.

Newfound power surged into her, and to be fair it was overwhelming at first. But, it felt as if it belonged. She swung her keyblade around, trying to get used to her newfound powers. This would get to getting used to, but in all honesty she was okay with it. At least, for the time being. She looked at the others with a warm and frinedly smiled, as her keyblade was now surrounded with a mystical electric aura, empowered by the element far greater than ever before. She hoped she was ready for whatevver would come to claim her, as a destiny she wasn't prepared for, was prepared for her and the other Guardians.

The dumbfounded boy simply blinked at Amy as she glanced back at him, adverting his glance 1D245981-CFD5-4FA0-B594-3BC36621ED83.jpegaway from her and back at the torrent of malice that was grasping at their heels. His fiery glare was purely fixated on the beast pursuing them as they booked it for the light up ahead, he was weary of approaching the wall of light but anything was surely better then the unruly nightmare that was just meters before them. Cato drove through the light after he cast his Aero as an attempt to ward the horrid beings or at least buy them time to move unscathed, his mouth was comparable to a vast desert; dry and sticky as his mind jumped through loops trying to untangle his raging thoughts.

However it would seem an unwanted intruder had clambered their through on the girl that had been with him before, his initial reaction was that of shock and his iris‘ had shrunk to pinpricks at the sight of the monster on her. The odd eyed boy was about to rip the heartless from her but the situation appeared to solved itself, much to Cato’s surprise but at least he could rest easy as he sweaty cheek met the gentle embrace of the breeze. It was only now that he could hear his rampaging heart, drumming against his frail ribs like a xylophone. As the young boy gathered himself for a brief moment as his breath was ragged and searching for fresh air to consume, each lung felt like it going rip away from his wind pipe; he had ran himself to the point of exhaustion and his burning lungs was evident of that.
Not wanting to waste anymore time Cato heaved himself onto his own two feet. Straggling over to the empty green glyph upon the surface of which he limped across, his left foot had died on him and was causing him some trouble as he traveled over to his designated spot. Mimicking what Amy had done with her weapon, pointing his weapon straight down at the floor. Pressing his weight against the hilt afterwards due to his weakness in his arch.

Cato actively remained dumb through out any further conversation with anyone, partly due to the boy being for one shaken to such a degree that his eyes avoided anyone’s gaze but he did glance over at the other girls and boys to see just who it was speaking. He furrowed his fine eyebrows, scratching a exposed spot on his arm.
Where did they go? Urgh, I‘m gonna bash that guy when I see them next... He huffed with his shaky and fast breath, his
spike in energy had all but faded out as he no longer felt endangered from the monsters. They were nothing like the monsters‘ at home, those had form. These were just glorified shadows with no pleasant colours just those hollow yellow eyes, the mere thought of it drove harsh strikes of cold up his spine as he couldn’t stand the eerie appearance of the heartless. Cato would rather stare into the eyes of a Drake, at least they had some vibrant colours upon their scales.

Yue-Jui | No Clue

Ah yes, the jester in him fed off that brazen display of emotion. He watched her reactions shift from the corner of his perception while his back faced her and like a Cluckerbugger that feasted off the emotions of its victims, blue, now known as Alice- reacted just the way he had expected.

Aozora's display was nothing but amusing either. Jui grinned silently--

That is till he saw something white fly by him, with a drift of cold.

The smugness died almost instantly and Yue-Jui did nothing but blink, nonplussed. Shortly after came Blue's cry:

"Now stab the image before I get stabby!"

Wowza was his thought. Wat a gal, was his reaction. If he were a kernuckle he woulda been in love, but this fool was no jester's idiot- and Jui was anything else but amused. Like a stiff board he straightened, expression blank.

The thought occured to him to retaliate, but honestly that was a terrible idea. Horrible really. The gal had magic, and something in his stomach told him that he wouldn't be as lucky. Any magic he had tried during his conflict with those blasted bloody shadows had done nothing, he'd felt no pulse from within and as such, had come to believe this realm was nullifying magic completely
But, here this blue gal was. Doing what blues do; being cold and pelting at him with snow.

Stiff as a board Jui straightened up and narrowed a single eye as he cast a glance back at his assassin over his shoulder. He doubted miss platinum over there was going to side with him from the stink eye she was giving. Then again, he'd called her a smokin bill and honestly his buddy's lingo had never really worked with the females of any race really.

Always had le worst pick up lines he did, Jui mused- letting his thoughts wander. Of course he snapped out of it real quick because when a Blue is screaming at ya what else can you do?

The act of blindly trusting a void, rich voice just because it had basic common sense not to let teens die at the claws of demons was maddening. It was like telling him to trust a complete stranger he'd walked up to his little brother or sister's lunch and expect the guy to deliver it to them at school.

Madness!

The sudden appearance of two chicks seemed to be the perfect interruption that prevented any further pressure. Of course one of these chicks seemed to have brought a friend and at the sight of this passenger, Jui's eyes widened, he pulled his keyboard up and began moving to--

"Oh...alredy gone he muttered as he watched it dissipate into the wind. "Well...that was something..." And so was watching another one go up and stab the glyph.

What was wrong with these people, Jui found himself wondering. Were they really this blind? Or was his paranoia truly blinding him?

Seconds of indecision and before he knew it now it was just him remaining. The third was the last and Jui knew that didn't sit right at all.

Gritting his teeth and looking at the ground he twirled a single lock of his hair and thought.

"Fak it." He griped, grabbing one sock and yanking it off then doing the same for the other. "Lost me damn shoes in that freakin battle, might as well lose me damn mind also." He scowled as he tossed the other sock over his shoulder and the taps of his bare feet rang as he moved forward.

"I'll do it. But if something happens" he said glancing at Daichi and then looking at Blue, "then you'll be the first to get a piece of my mind, cutie pie."

That said he walked past her and violently stabbed the glyph.

  • A slice. A pivot. These heartless are overwhelmingly increasing. The girl is doing her best. But her best isn’t good enough. Her keyblade called to her pulsing at her side. She was being called back. Protect your successor it demanded. She didn’t want to touch it, she may have felt the girls struggles through their connection but that made her no less willing to rise up again. She failed, she wasn’t good enough, she never would be. The girl that sliced at phantoms that weren’t there couldn’t protect this new innocent Guardian. She’d taint her.

She never wished what they’d endured on these children. She herself was no more than a mere child when her turn came and she’d cracked and bent under the pressure. She’d done nothing that she should have as a Guardian of Flames and this is why she was replaced. Yet…

She couldn’t not help. In the safety of the Starlight Plaza that she refused to leave for so many months she felt the girl scream through their connection. NO SHE WOULDN’T LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN. She shared her sight with the girl thanks to their connection through the keyblade and as the shadows grew closer she sent her power through the girl.

    “IMMOLATION”

The corridor was on fire. Burning away the heartless with ease. The girl would be unharmed by it but no doubt it would frighten her.

    “RUN”

She shouted through their connection and the girl was off running to the light at the fire would protect her from all the approaching heartless. As the girl crossed the threshold she saw the other’s successors gathered. She would be safe. She sent a jolt of her power through the connection awakening the girl's glyph for her. As she released her hold through her successor she felt the connection leave. The girl would hit the floor unconscious. This is all a broken Guardian could do.

Yue-Jui | Probably Dead

The blaze of light and the light show that followed did nothing to settle the chill of doubt of things at the start but as seconds ticked and nothing immediately bad appeared it was going to happen, Yue-Jui allowed himself the moment of believing that his paranoia had gotten the better of him. Even allowing himself a relief inspired chuckle. With the door growing brighter and looking like it was finally ready to let someone open it, Jui let out a sigh of relief and then patting Daiichi on the back roughly with a happy laugh the dirty blonde smiled, feeling worries about his sanity, dark possibilities of being in the Underworld, or thoughts of having jumped dimensions spiritually- all of it leaving him as he accepted that perhaps it had just been in his head given the suddenness of the situation he'd found himself in. If things were going so well now, then perhaps being so high strung would just be more trouble, right?

That chuckle and any relief died the moment his eyes caught sight of the floor changing. The flash of heat trailing through the room, his confusion spiking, then settling as he turned to see the source.

A girl. Three new glyphs, one dull- two bright. The girl collapsed, the feeling of raw power-- light. Vanish. Gone.
The ground shook. Images became reality; caves spawned, grass grew, water flowed, he could even feel the breeze of air. At first his surprise was just shock and initially he thought that was it. Just a jump scare that he had fallen right into and that was that. A "Phew!" Escaped. Pure chaos, and to match the peril levels Jui's pupils did that weird thing only humans of his world seemed to have- that thing where they unravelled, forming spirals across his iris. Enhancing his perception, his sight, and more.

He shook his head and looked up lazily as he collected himself from that scare. Sweat sliding down, like condensation on a cold beverage. But that's when he saw it.

The shadow imp.

And that's when, like a rock, relief vanished. Something else bubbling in.

Had his vision not been enhanced in response to his stress he wouldn't have seen it. But he did, the very first heartless before the rest crawled out like roaches from below and were a swarm all around.

Jui, rising to a full stand, stared blankly at this mess he was now in. He stood there watching for a second, closed his eyes, tightened his grip. Grimaced and then it turned into a thin lipped line. Taking a deep calm breathe, he opened his eyes and yelled at the top of his lungs in fury:

"I FAKIN TOLD YOU IJIOTS! YOU FUCKING BUNCH O,-- LOOK AT THIS SHIT!" He turned to Die-Itchy, who would be dying in a more horrific way than the odd way his family had named him; rounding on blue and at her and Usha, then scowling at the recent two newcomers. "YOU SEE DIS SHIT? DIS IS WHY I SAID WE SHOULDN'T DO IT! FAKIN FUCK! No one thinks about this shit! What kinda dingus was I, thinking nothin would happen! There's always a trap at the end." Yue-Jui cried, throwing his hand and the other clutching his weapon on to his head in disarray, pacing up and down as the horde of beasts all crawling out of places and marching towards them at an ever nearing pace. "FUCK!" He stomped outraged, running hands through his hair.

"I'll BE DAMNED IF I'M GOING TO LET FUCKING DEMONS RIP ME A NEW ONE. FUCK DIS! FUCK THAT VOICE! I'm improvising from here on!" He said rounding back on the others. "Don't expect a freakin apology from me when this shit is over cuz this is exactly the kind of shit I was worried about."

Done.

Jui didn't wait, he moved right in. It was clear as day he was livid. He didn't look at anyone he just started walking, moving forward. Avoiding parts of the mismatched new land that would slow him down given he was barefoot.

Not running away, but walking towards the chaos he moved lightly but quickly on his feet. A single practice swing with one arm, then switching hands to the other before swapping back. Once his grip was fixed he broke into a walk, then a jog, then he was running. Sprinting right towards one monster as he jumped on a jutting rock, kicked off it with his foot, then high drop kicked a monster of darkness in the head as he came down.

With a guttural snarl, he lifted his blade and stabbed. Twisting, pulling out- then moved to the next one. "COME ON!" He screamed back at the others, facing them for only a moment before he went in for another and just straight up sucker punched it. Stomping hard on where ribs might be if it had any. "Get in the game! Before he vanished with a swing of his blade down.

Two gone. Many more to go.

And Jui was off. Gaining distance but keeping within somewhat visible sight. Stalling for time. Clearly more driven by anger than anything else.

It seemed as though everything was going to be alright everyone had stabbed there glyphs, Alice had even gotten the stubborn ox to finally stab his though some persuasive means. Everything is going to be alright? Right? Well of course not because as soon as everyone had stabbed the glyphs a random redhead girl had appeared out of nowhere activating another glyph and almost as soon as she appeared she vanished. Something wrong had occurred and now they had to pay for it. Those shadows are now appearing everywhere did they truly fall into some sort of trap, the voice is now gone and offering no advice on how to pass unless "No this is right we are simply on the next stage of our trial." She looks over at the others "everyone we have to work together to make it through this so just this once let's put our differences aside and work together." And almost to prove a point she looks over to Yue and shoots another ray of blizzard behind him hitting one of the more sneaky shadows approaching behind him.

USHA LOUVEL

People came one after the other once Aozora introduced herself. Each newcomer and Yue had finally activated their glyphs until there was only one more. Out of nowhere was a girl, flaming red hair that disappeared just as sudden as she came. Usha was left gaping, trying to process just what had happened to the last person as it left her with a sense of dread. Reminding her of her world and how it was all eaten up by the dark.

Scenery changed into a jumble. Yue was quick to complain but with the mass of shadows coming for them it was clearly not the time to do so. "Alice is right, we need to work together if we're gonna get through this." Easier said than done as she wasn't the most cooperative person in the world but it would have to do. A heartless approached from her side and she was quick to defend and hit it with her blade.

Noticing another one approaching someone else, Usha agilely strode to Aozora and stabbed it. Putting her shift to the other shadows, she wanted to ask, "We might need to get to the door, what do you all think?" She said amidst the fighting.

    ~ ??? ~
    63194 || Daichi's CS File

The group wasn’t exactly on the same page; it felt no different than the usual time back home. He could almost imagine Yue-jui and Ayo getting along thick as thieves, especially with the utterly impossible way he butchered Daichi’s name. Still he chose to give Yue the benefit of the doubt, after all New Bodhum villagers often mentioned how oddly different their Oerba counterparts names were.

He didn’t see them moving too soon, instead taking time to touch the stained glass floor as Alice and Yue continued to snipe at each other. It looked complete yet each time another joined it only became more shifted as it added in colors that weren’t previously there. Just when would it be enough? What were they meant to see in it?

He wouldn’t get the chance to wonder for long as more and more people came in the images shifted into clearer and clearer pictures. He stood joining the group in the center as Yue attivated his glyph and finished their lit symbols. He was about to laugh with him up until the arrival of a girl that collapsed upon the floor. His first instinct was to go to her but that wouldn’t be happening as the floor shook. He fell back onto his butt landing in the edge of the glyphs as everything else began to form around them.

What was this. They were all hardly dressed, chased down by monsters, now they were locked in a room as the room literally formed around them as an obstacle course. Who was this powerful and why did they have such a strong vendetta against them. They were just kids! He stood as he saw flying creatures on the horizon. With a swing his new blade was back in his hands.

“THIS DOESN’T MAKE SENSE, WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO? ARE YOU A FAL’CIE OR NOT?”

In the back of his head he worried. Yeah he couldn’t have ignored the voice, that probably would have spelled out death, but following it wasn’t going too well either. Well if it was a last standing Fal’cie it was doing wonders to prove the old stories. He wanted to run. He wanted advice from Sir Snow and Sir Hope. The Yue was running in and he was forced to follow.

“DON’T GO ALONE! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU!”

Daichi rushed in swinging attack after attack. He felt the cold sweep past and saw a ray of a Blizzard hit a sneaky enemy behind Yue. He turned and found Alice behind it speaking up.

    “THANK YOU”

A trial huh. Yeah he should think of it like that. He’s had trials before, even if he didn’t have Cev at his side right now he still had support. He needed to help them as well. He ripped through one of the more armored ones with a powerful swing. He would protect them.

He heard the older looking gal voicing an opinion to reach the door. He looked around. There! It was still a ways away though. He didn’t see any other way out. The platforms from before were still at the edge of the circle but he couldn’t tell if they led anywhere or still went nowhere. The heartless were too much of a distraction for him to really get a second to look up.

“IF YOU THINK WE CAN MAKE IT I'M ALL FOR IT.”
