Music Eurovision 2020

Hey! I was wondering if anyone listened to Eurovision 2020 ?

Because of COVID the songs are on the Eurovision Youtube Channel, and while Iceland may have won this year, I still hope one day France will take the crown again x)

My personal top 5 is :

1- Lithuania
2- Malta
3- Cyprus
4- Isreal
5- Estonia and Iceland

What did you guys think? A bit sad we didn't have a lot of meme potential this year

I know!!! The video clip was solid, and the singer had talent. A shame really, but I think he will be back for 2021?

I'm just sad we didn't see much of memeish performance like a piano on fire or things like this that usually spices up things.

And I agree, Iceland effects were just Geeky as hell, 8 Bits, what do you want more?

Bit bummed Italie and France decided to go for ballads this year It is really not my genre of choice

Honestly, whilst I am not sure it was my favourite, at least top 3 though, I was rooting for Malta to win it. Having the contest on such a beautiful, small island would reinforce that Eurovision isn't just about who has the biggest budget and international connections (cough Greece and Cyprus cough). Plus Destiny is in amazing singer for how young she is and exudes charisma.

Wait, they still had voting despite the contest being canceled?

Jannah I think there has been three semi-officials rankings? One by Spotify, one by the OGAE and the other I'm not sure. It's not by the organizers per say, so I should maybe edit my first post (at first I thought it was official, but after making additional research to answer your question I found out about the semi-official aspect of it x.x woups)
