Premise

You've died! Congratulations!
You've been brought to Hell due to your transgressions. Most importantly, your final transgression.
Based on your last sin, most likely the sin that led to your death, you will be faced with the trials of Hell's Carnival.
First and foremost, it will be your duty as a lost, damned soul to follow the six hundred sixty six rules of the Carnival. What are those rules? Well, you'll find out eventually. The best way to find out is to break one of the rules. You will first get a warning, and if you break that same rule again, then you will face the Tamer. Keep in mind that the Ticket Master will know when a rule is broken.

Now, as long as you follow the rules, then all you have to do is pass your trial. What is your trial? As stated before, that depends on what sin brought you here. You will not be told when your trial begins, and you will not be told how to win. Each trial is on an individual basis, even if you may face things as a group. The goal is to pass your trial and get out of Hell. If you fail to pass, you will be kept in Hell and transform into one of its carnies. But don't worry, it's not so bad. Some may say it's even better than Heaven.


Rules of the Role Play

1) All RPN rules apply

2) Be respectful to the GM. If your character does not pass their trial and is forced to stay in Hell, there is nothing to be done.

3) Powers are allowed! However, power or meta gaming is not.

4) Players of all posting types welcome! Whether you’re a one-liner, para, multi-para, novella, first person, third person, or second person roleplayer, you’re more than welcome to post here! That being said, please no text speak in your posts (“u” instead of “you”, etc.) and please try and be as grammatically correct as possible! I understand a few mistakes here and there, but please at least put some effort into your posting. Though all posting types are allowed in TCS, as the GM I personally prefer at least one line. One worded posts I do take issue with.

5) People are allowed to play two characters(duos). However, due to intended cast size as well as intended roleplaying speed, as well as GMs ability to keep up with everything going on, this will be limited to five roleplayers with their ten characters. (Currently 4 spots are taken. DM me to take one)

  • Picture or description of appearance: A shiny Eevee with Shining Silver Fur, who appears extra fluffy compared to others of her kind. She is small for her age.

    Name: Fluffington the Mighty

    Canon: Pokemon OC

    Powers/Abilities/Equipment: A specialty trained luckily bred Eevee, her stats are way outside normal limits. She has the Absolute Maximum Defense and Special Defense of a Shuckle, and the HP of a Blissey, Fluffington the Mighty is a walking Tank, capable of withstanding Battles with Legendary's, only for them to Struggle themselves to defeat. On the opposite end of the Spectrum, the absolute focus has left her with no Attacking power to speak of, and is more like getting hit with a pillow if she were to Tackle someone. Her speed isn't anything special.
    Her time outside of Space/Time has left her with Moves she didn't know she had, not that she readily remembers many to begin with. Her move set seems to encompass anything an Eevee can/could ever possibly learn, in any universe.
    Fluffington has a Berry Bag full of Lum Berries, and a focus Sash tied around her neck in a bow.

    Personality: Fluffington the Mighty is a fairly happy individual. She tends not to let others dictate her mood, unless she is particularly attached to them. She likes to bounce around and shed on others with her silvery fur, and boasts about her prowess in battle.

    Bio: Fluffington the Mighty was born with a shimmering silver coat among a pack of otherwise normal Eevees. Seeing as her coat was very attention drawing, they abandoned her by the river, which she inevitably fell in and was carried downstream to the coast several miles away. Then she was taken in by a gym of Fighting Types who beat to death trained with any normal type they could lock up convince to join them. Three Years passed, with this baby Eevee being beaten training constantly, until a freak storm came in the middle of the night, washing the gym and everyone in it out to sea with no other survivors.
    Fluffington the Mighty washed up on the shore of a Mysterious island and befriended a group of Pokemon Mercenaries, who's adventures led them to battle Legends and Myths over the course of 10 years. Eventually they came across a being who could control the passage and fabric of Time itself. A long battle commenced, and there was a mighty Roar, Fluffington The Mighty took the blow for her comrades, and in a horrid twist of luck or fate, vanished.

    Other info: FLUFFINGTON THE MIGHTY IS A TOTAL IDIOT! SHE IS SO DUMB, HER BRAIN USES SO LITTLE OXYGEN SHE CAN HOLD HER BREATH FOR UP TO 12 HOURS. Also, if she befriends someone, she tends to think the best of them.

Name: Lucky
Canon: Whacked!
Powers/Abilities/Equipment: Lucky is quick and nimble, as rabbits go. He boasts a sharp eye and a strong jaw packed with sharp little teeth.
Personality: In a nutshell, Lucky is pure rage in a bottle. The slightest mishap can get him on a vengeful spree, and he tends to go for the most...er, "thorough" solution. He can be quite a snarker, and he is not afraid to speak his mind, but he is not a conversationalist. Lucky's sense of humor is a bit dark as well. He loves a good prank, or violent punchline. Despite all of this, there could very well be a gentle, artistic side to him. He has claimed that he likes writing poems in his spare time.
Bio: If Lucky's start of darkness wasn't the loss of his paws in a good luck charm factory, then who knows what it is. Somehow, he managed to survive without his limbs well into his adulthood, but is on a mission to reclaim them. For some reason, his search lead him to the game show "Whacked!", where he ended up thrown into a series of life threatening battle royales in unpleasant locations.
He did win in the end, but was supposedly put through "The Infamous Phony Show Cancellation Round", which, unbeknownst to him, wasn't phony at all. Due to his success, the show was going to be cancelled, and the host, Van Tastic, was making a last ditch effort to revive his plummeting ratings.
Lucky was nearly suckered into going for a "Grand Prize", but a quick look at the contract revealed that the price would be his soul. Valuing his soul over the prize, he attempted to shove Van off and escape. This is when Van became enraged and tried to destroy him, but his small size and durability kept him safe. Bitter over the trap, Lucky simply continued the search for his paws.
Sin: Wrath.
Other info: I will try my hardest to keep up, but some days I might feel too sleepy to write. To keep this from happening, I'll be practicing a better sleep schedule.

Personality: She is carefree, friendly, hopeful, a God-believer, and an optimistic person. She always cares for the lives of her commander, best friend and her comrades. She is naive and slightly childish despite her age, she often gets excited and pumped up whenever people talk about food with her. Although she is scared when her commander, Tanya Degurechaff, becomes angry, she always thinks positive and never gives up in the hope she would act like a normal young girl.

Bio:​
She was conscripted due to her magical talent and attended cadet school in 1923. She was appointed as Corporal alongside Harald von Vist and Kurst von Walhorf under the command of previously ranked Second Lieutenant Tanya Degurechaff. With the recommendation from First Lieutenant Schwarzkopf and Tanya Degurechaff she was sent to OCS and went through an accelerated program. After graduating from OCS she was assigned to be Tanya's adjutant because of their familiarity and gender. She also joined the training unit V601, and was retrained by Tanya in Alpen Mountains Zugspitze Training Area. Finally, she completed the retrained mission, and became the member of 203rd Aerial Mage Battalion.

  • Armoured to the teeth in the standard-issue platemail common amongst Knights of low status, Ramius' set is coloured coal black with brilliant golden trims, contrasting with her ashen white hair and fur cloak. With dull crimson eyes and fair, but battle-scarred skin, Ramius stands at six feet tall with a muscular build and notably large bosom. Decorating her armour are various red gemstones, and at the heart of her cloak's clasp is a polished garnet the size of a golf ball.

Personality
What is known about Vaas' personality comes from his close (and dangerous) encounters with the main protagonist. Close observation shows that he is reckless, violent, sadistic, brutal, unpredictable, cynical, Machiavellian, psychopathic, insane, extremely prideful, and a remorseless pirate lord with a dark sense of humor and a frighteningly violent personality - who is feared even by his own men - some of whom are as chaotic and psychotic as Vaas.

Despite being crazier and more mentally unstable than the other antagonists, such as Hoyt Volker, he was a charismatic and masculine leader and provided most of the jokes in the Far Cry Experience which saw the torture of Christopher Mintz-Plasse and his camera-man at the hands of Vaas.

However one can notice that once Christopher is not moving for the last time, he begins to attempt a resuscitate Chris. After failing, he seems to begin to genuinely mourn him, just before a fellow pirate announces Jason's arrival. Showcasing how quickly Vaas' moves from one obsession to the next, he then humorously begins to bury Chris' head in sand. This marks one of the few (if any) times in which he shows remorse towards one of his victims.

Bio
Vaas was born in 1985 on the Rook Islands and from a young age, he was a member of the native Rakyat. He was particularly close to his sister Citra and mentions that his first kill was for her.

Sometime before 2012, Vaas became addicted to drugs, brought to the islands by deranged slave and drug trafficker Hoyt Volker. Vaas eventually established contact with Volker who found potential in Vaas and promoted him to right-hand man. Vaas went on to become the leader of the Pirates, a faction consisting of pirates that came to the Rook Islands to rape, pillage, steal and murder.

Vaas and his men would help Volker with his business (such as growing marijuana fields and kidnapping and selling native inhabitants of the island into slavery) and strike terror and injustice in the Rakyat and the islands that are rightfully theirs. Vaas would operate from a hidden fortress in the North Island from where he would oversee the deaths and destruction he caused on the natives and the Rakyat who were once considered his family.

During Jason and his friends' trip in Bangkok, they hear about an island where you "can do anything" from Doug, the nightclub DJ that works as a spotter for Vaas. They then decided to do a blind skydive over the Rook Islands. After landing, they are soon captured by Vaas and his Pirates. While Jason and his older brother Grant are tied up, Vaas explains how he is going to ransom them for large amounts of money from their parents. It is revealed later that even after receiving the ransom money, Vaas would sell them all as slaves for increased profit.

After Jason and Grant escape and brew up an escape plan for everyone, Vaas shoots Grant in the neck, the latter of whom bleeds to death. Vaas decides that instead of killing Jason, he lets him run. This mistake would later be his undoing.

While on his campaign to save his friends, Jason learns that Vaas is keeping Liza Snow hostage personally, as a way to make Jason come to him. When Jason assaults a slave prison that is said to hold Liza, he is knocked out and captured by Vaas. When he wakes, he, Liza and Oliver are tied up in chairs in an old abandoned building, while Vaas is pouring and covering them in gasoline. He then sets fire to the building and leaves Jason and Liza to die, but he takes Oliver with him. They escape just as the building is engulfed in flames and collapses on itself.

Jason continues his campaign of saving his friends. During a meeting with CIA agent Willis Huntley, Huntley puts on a recording of a conversation between Vaas and Hoyt in which Hoyt briefly chastises Vaas for not taking matters seriously with Jason and urges him to take care of him while he searches Beras Town for a transportation manifest that holds the name of Oliver Carswell, who happens to be one of Jason's kidnapped friends.

After being given a mission by Citra to save some of her kidnapped warriors, Jason and some Rakyat members ambush Hoyt's men who are transporting Citra's warriors. Jason is, however, ambushed by Vaas again, when opening a truck that he believed to house the captured warriors. Vaas then ties Jason to a cinder block and introduces him to his insanity monologue before kicking him into a cenote, intending to drown him.

Jason escapes, then proceeds to kill more of Vaas’ men to acquire a helicopter and escape. After the helicopter is shot down by an RPG, Vaas comes up to Jason and shoots him point-blank in the chest. It is later shown that Jason survived the shot by way of a lighter, the same one Vaas tried to light him and Liza on fire within the abandoned hotel.

After becoming intimate with Citra in her temple, Jason is finally given the task to kill Vaas at his compound, who is throwing a party in celebration of Jason’s "death". Jason is led to believe he is infiltrating the compound successfully but is surprised when Vaas sounds the alarm and broadcasts that he knew Jason was coming. After killing all of the pirates, Jason stumbles into a larger warehouse looking to confront and kill Vaas once and for all.

When he confronts Vaas, Vaas stabs Jason in the chest and then seemingly walks away. Jason enters a similar dreamy state in which he confronted Buck and kills several visions of Vaas, before finally confronting the true Vaas. After some struggle, Jason plunges his knife into Vaas' chest again and again until Vaas falls to the ground wounded. In the last scene, when Jason collapses next to Vaas after the long fight, Vaas’ eyes look straight into Jason’s one more time before Jason wakes up.

As Jason approaches Citra in the final dream sequence, Vaas, or at least a voice in Jason's head that sounds like him, says that she's going to make him a warrior.

Canon: “Them”

Powers/Abilities/Equipment: Seeing as Edmund is homeless, and the fact that Sir Benedict basically dictates his life, Edmund basically has nothing on his person. Edmund however is known for his ability to come back from the dead to Benedict’s displeasure, but this time, something strange happened indeed.

Personality: Due to Benedict making him the enemy of the world, this homeless boy is very depressed, he has accepted his life of misery, and that he is the puppet, while Benedict is the puppet master.

Bio: Edmunds backstory is unknown to time due to the fact that no one cared to document anything about him. What we do know is that Benedict chose him to be his mortal enemy, thereby losing him his house, his possessions, his freedom, and his humanity.

Powers/Abilities/Equipment:

The Ultimate Assassin - His Ultimate/SHSL. He was trained to kill without mercy, and was taught by the best. He has familiarity with all knives and light melee weapons, as well as the ability to sneak around mostly undetected, but only if he is in shadows. He also knows how to use poison to kill others.

Bloodied Dagger - A remminant of his days in the Killing Games until he had died in a fight with another student. He did kill that student in exchange but .... He too had died.
It is a sharp knife that had claimed many a life.

Black Mamba Poison - A vial of extremely dangerous poison that he sneaks into others food and drink to kill them.

Personality: A loner who trusts no one. Anything that does amuse him that was from another person, gets an "Ara Ara" as a response.
He trusts no one, and lies alot to everyone. Being an assassin, he's good at lying.

Bio: A orphan that was taken in by a skilled assassin and was taught in his line of work. He was recruited into the killing games few years later, and (in this timeline) had met his untimely end there. Didn't stop him from killing other students off before then.

Sin:
Murder - murdering many other kids during the killing games was something he never regretted. It was something he enjoyed and would gladly do it again just to win this time.

Other info:
Akamaru is normally called Bakamaru whenever he does something Stupid.

Akamaru is from a currently WIP RP made by FreakOfLater FreakOfLater , which Akamaru is part of.

Akamaru has a sweet tooth, and tries to hide that weakness of his. He also enjoys Heavy Metal.

If Akamaru was based in another anime, he'd probably be in Assassination Classroom or Raildex.​

Bio: Trucie Slater and her twin sister Clover was born to a very powerful raptor family, literally. She was sent to a pretengious school that teaches people how to fight and be heroes and ultimately fell in love with a young woman by the name of Olivia. Little did she know that that love would lead to her demise (at least in this timeline as Trucie is part of huge raptor family multiverse)
