I used to make characters overpowered. Dark days indeed... There isn't much conflict if your character can just POOF! and magic their way out of anything. Also, thanks, Tove.

I try to avoid making Mary Sues as much as possible. Tomoku, for instance, is an occasional vigilante who usually gets too carried away. Perfect characters just aren't as fun.
