    From what I understand, a few things; Lelouche didn't die (probably), humans aren't good at maintaining utopias given to them by martyrs (what a surprise), and Lelouche isn't the main character although he'll have some involvement with the events.

    Akito the Exiled, apparently, was a side story of OVA movies telling what happened between rebellions 1 and 2, but is optional to watch since it only contains extra world building. I'm pretty sure going by posters that some of the OVA's characters will be involved in season 3 as well, but that doesn't really mean anything.


    So no, I don't think it's like those OVAs :P

    Why is it that every time I make an intelligent character that uses charisma to get by, I'm tempted to just put "people" in the weapons/fighting style? I know it's going to affect how everyone views the character and interacts with them, but it's just SO TEMPTING...

    I don't either, I just straight out observe and manipulate. Not a single one of my actual intelligent and manipulative characters have it straight out mentioned that that's what they're doing, you just see a pattern of "Wait, but why not do this or that? ... Oh, that's why? Okay. Why aren't you our leader again? Oh, because it gives you stress?"


    Of course, doing this, the first few posts (which are often the only ones made sadly) are a bit rocky, trying to quickly discern the psychology of the people behind the characters so that they don't notice the incongruity of your own first posts compared to latter ones, but beyond that it's smooth sailing. No worrying, unless some uncalled for deus ex machina plot armor goes on, or the setting is just that brutal.


    Or being found out. Which often only happens because of a word slip when describing thoughts/actions.

    Hey, man.  If you're going for that Lawful Evil vibe, I think it's awesome.  I played in a D& D game with a character like the one you were describing, and he was our "face" guy.  It was incredibly fun.  Though, my character greatly enjoyed fighting people, so it was really no skin off her back who he threw her at.

    @zooka Man, I wish I could play D&D more. Yeah, most of my characters are LE or CG since those are the two I myself tend towards, but I've felt very sad because of the lack of acceptance for those wonderful anti-heroes and anti-villains from most people. I find a few people who accept it and I get to enjoy myself there, but that's a very rare thing. Most of the time, I'm forced into a more good/neutral mindset for characters because everyone obviously knows the good, weak sage and how they interact with others. It gets a bit annoying at times when people start assuming things like that while trying to find links between characters without at least asking for permission.

    I do count it as canon, and I can understand how it happened, but I see it more as a "best Bros" thing unless we're talking about Dave's seriously confused mind that is probably trying to make it more so he can figure out himself, as that's the number one thing he always had trouble with - (correct) self definition.


    What's your classpect? Not based off a quiz, but actual research. Don't know if you saw, but I'm a Thief of Heart that's already made it past my crisis.

    Thank you for understanding Dave. I feel like nobody really understands the amount of issues he really has, especially when it comes to identity and relationships. He still has a lot of shit to figure out. I ship them pale or flushed but yeah, even if they were flushed, it would take a few years for both of them to come to terms with themselves before they could love each other in my opinion.


    As for my classpect, I'm a Knight of Doom. Which, apparently, is pretty common on the internet because I've met at least four others on ao3.

    Understanding characters is kind of a hobby I developed as an Autistic author to better understand people, and thus the characters I and others create ^.^ It's nothing impressive, really, it's just that hardly anyone unconsciously cares deeply enough for others to truly understand them instead of what they want and need them to be.


    Funnily enough, my best friends IRL are twins, a Knight of Doom and a Heir of Space. The Knight I like to consider my apprentice, as he is very biased in favor of optimism as an act of denial; I consider it my project to get him past his trials as a Knight and get him to realize how he can do things, even though he doubts himself and therefore clouds himself in the belief that he need not do anything.

    Yeah, it is. But I can't always make the perfect decision/interpretation, right? I'm only fifteen. That would make me too much of a cheat, and I'd get lonely in perfection. Personally, I'm glad I make mistakes.
