my major issue with the “i can’t write starters” thing is that… like, when you’re starting a roleplay, it’s always best to begin from the perspective of whomever would have the most going on at the time of the starter. if character a is in the process of searching for character b for whatever reason, then would it not make more sense for the admin of character a to start at the point where their character finds character b? does that make sense? because if you start with the character who’s really Not doing much, then the starter is mostly going to be fluff and filler and would likely not have that great of a hook either.

after watching this scene, i get it, billy has a suuuper sad backstory, whatever. being abused doesn't justify becoming an abuser. he's just as bad as his father. having daddy issues doesn't make it okay that he's a racist, so regardless, i will never understand why some people find it so easy to justify what a fucked up person he is.
one time i read about someone getting stuck in an elevator, trying to climb out and being crushed when the elevator kicked back into action with them on top of it, so this is like... extra terrifying to me. -
