    I had gone through some conflict in choosing college myself too, I definitely feel you. Hehe, although it would be best if you can get into your dream college, however, there will always be plenty of alternatives and opportunities out there, so you will never run out of paths that will lead you to your dream, as long as the passion and determination in pursuing it remains.


    I think the most appropriate attitude in this matter is to appreciate for what you have, and appreciate for what you get, so don't worry too much on whether you will get into the college or not.

    @Dreamtique I'm trying to have that attitude! I'm applying to other great colleges, so I know that's true,  but I really don't wanna deal with being rejected lol that'd be painful.

    For about 2 days now, I haven't been able to eat anything without feeling super sick. I hope I can actually manage to consume something for Thanksgiving dinner. D:

    That's true. It seems as if, concerning the Soviets and the Cold War, the common American train of thought is "Soviets=Communism=Bad." And I mean, yeah, there's truth to that, but I generally don't see a wider recognition and consideration of the atrocities committed by Stalin and later Soviet leaders. I feel like now, Stalin (and the USSR as a whole) is more like some archetypal evil villain man, but not an actual dictator who is actually responsible for the deaths of about 40 million people. 


    No I haven't. I was actually planning on watching the movie awhile back, but never got around to it. How is it?

    The books are great. The movie is good, too. Tom Hardy is fantastic.

    @Trust (no longer online) I don't even see Hillary as evil. She has devoted 40 years of her life to public service, has done great things, and is extremely qualified. She is not flawless, and she has made mistakes, but there is absolutely no question of who is the better candidate. By leaps and bounds, she is. Conservatives have been slandering her since the 1990's- that is why there is so much bad press about her now. Her mistakes have been blown out of proportion, and she has been the subject of far more scrutiny that any candidates of the past.
