He pulled her closer up to his face.

He wrapped his arms around her waist.

He held the kiss.

He leaned in thinking she was going for a forward kiss and snuck in a kiss on the lips instead.

"I slept well knowing you were safe."

"That's good."

"How did you sleep?"

"Good morning my dear wife." *

He smiled at her.

He stayed still not wanting to disturb her sleep kissing her forehead ever so gently.

The next morning Derrin woke up and smiled down at Kuna.

Derrin wrapped them both up in his wings. Slowly drifting off to sleep.

Derrin had changed into his regular clothes and folded his suit up and put it off to the side. He pulled Kuna into his arms and gave her a soft kiss before she fell asleep and drifted off himself.

"Get some sleep my love."

"I love you Kuna."
