Well, maybe the families have the goal of freeing their deity while hindering all the other families from doing so. Perhaps the deities have been reaching out to the heads of the family, giving them cryptic clues for where to find them or how to free them. Something like that.

I'd wait for some more people. At the moment, I would try and flush out some of the story so that there is a bit of purpose and drive. That will make it more attractive to other people.

Sure. I didn’t intend to kill anyone off this early, or at all really. Was just asking how it should play out. I suppose we could try and save the leg, since I doubt your character would really be up to let a bunch of strangers amputate lol.

Thanks. Also, wow, mad bad luck. What do you realistically want to do going forward? I mean, there’s no cure, but I’m sure if the characters rushed to sterilize and clean the wound, burning out infected flesh etc, you’d be fine. Just curious.

Feel free to establish some things for yourself regarding the hotel. Try to keep it in line with what everyone else said. As far as a RDG, fell free to do it if you want but also feel free to assume they made it fairly safe and sound. Take the liberties there.
