  • My notification box is being flooded with interesting new RPs though I can barely handle seven these days...What to do...
Sometimes I wonder if people even take the time to read the posts they aren't tagged in.

Sometimes in very large group rps, it's hard to keep up with everything. It ends up being easier just to read and reply to the things that involve you specifically, instead of being overwhelmed with things you may not know/care about
I have an unhealthy obsession with ''An Unhealthy Obsession'' by Blake Robinson. I want to make a character out of that song.
Is it just me being sensitive or does ''low-leveled writer'' sound a bit rude?

To me, non-literate sounds tenfold more worse.

    What about "inexperienced?"

It does *sound* rude, but I guess it depends on the context. I've been called something similar to my face by a friend who was criticizing my writing, LOL. And it didn't do nothing but help me.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm weird for feeling strange using exclamation marks...

Nope, I feel the same way EVERY time I use one. Especially in dialogue.

Well it depends who you're talking to! Sometimes shouting at people makes them uncomfortable!! DID YOU CONSIDER THAT?!?!
So I've been doing research and Fate/Grand Order seems to be coming out for Android and IOS for the US on June 25th. I'm extremely excited.
Y'know that feeling when you have so many character ideas for a RP but the limit you can actually make are one or two? It's called despair.
While doing research for a RP I've realized that fairy tales have a weird obsessions with groups of three and one-handed characters.

I wonder if GMs who set a posting limit know how hard it is to make a paragraph or two when all your characters are doing is talking.

I suppose it encourages detail so the thread isn't flooded with one-lines of " Oh really! I never knew that about Katie!"
That's why I would do it anyway.

Well, let´s see, you have flashbacks, thoughts, location description, worldbuilding, describing the other character, dialogue can be constructed to be more extensive or expressive, you can display your character´s gestures, feelings, and this is just the things I can make off the top of my head. I could probably give you more with my list in hand, made through basic research.

However, the most important thing is that you as a player contribute to making sure the other person has something to work with and that you know what your own goal or direction is with your post and character. If you miss either of those, you´re gonna fail, after all both you and your partner are missing half the necessary tools.
Y'know I never understood why people are afraid of clowns. I mean they aren't funny to me but they aren't really scary to me either.

I don't know either. They don't really scare me either and don't entertain me. When the "Killer Clown" thing was at its peak I found it funny to see those videos where the people actually beat the hell out of the clown

I'd understand the fear. I mean, if I saw a guy underneath a stage light wearing a painted on smile and tacky clothing, I'd be hella scared too. I'd be even more scared imagining that guy in my house or watching me at school.
Most of the Fate/Grand Order female servants are just like ''Lol, what are clothes?" and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet...
Being stuck in the zombie apocalypse while trying to keep your delusional friend from dying is hard work, I'm sure.

I guess? If their delusion is beneficial to them surviving by preventing a further mental breakdown they good for you both :v

Yeah, but if they're running around without being aware of the depressing reality around them then wouldn't they be a bit of a weak link?

It's a state of denial.Sure enough. And in most cases bad. But it could even have a positive effect on group morale to have a person who carried on portraying the image of simpler times. A rather common character type in apocalyptic or dystopian representations.
