People have asked me about joining DND things before and I just sit here like, "Do I look like someone who does that kind of thing?"
There's a number of reasons why the answer should be "No".
- Most DND campaigns don't ever finish cause people stop showing up after the 2nd or so session according to many DND players that I see commenting on the occasional DND content I see from time to time. And my own preference in my RP ads makes it clear I don't like that kind of attendance or people ghosting.
- Dice Rolls. Yeah not much my thing, I prefer being able to write my character to be capable of what I designed them to be. I didn't create a fumbling fool. And sure I didn't write a god either but she's not about to "roll a Nat 1 and die horribly to some literal who creature" in a fight. She's good at like 5 things and otherwise pretty much incompetent at much else. And unfortunately, fighting is one of those things she's REALLY good at which means dice rolls don't interest me. I'd probably have to be some kind of co-DM that has her as more of an NPC character that is mostly there for interactions and stuff and rarely does the fighting unless the main DM says to.
