    Nice. Been meaning to dig up his Rifters series based on how excellent the post-human duology has been. Possibly the best sci-fi author I've read since Clarke.

    Rifters is pretty great, but my favorite work of his is 'Malak'. His short stories don't get much love, despite how great they are.
