  • This is a serious video about racism and I love this video.

Unfortunately can't watch the video itself because seeing examples of this happening is too upsetting for me, but based on reading the title and comments, I'm glad to see someone is saying this. It's one of the primary reasons I'm scared to properly enter the adult world for real, since the way things have been going lately, combined with the fact that I have a mental disorder that means I have both a different filter to everyone else and an inability to properly explain my ideas to people, I feel like the moment I step into the world on my own people will feel justified in attacking me, both figuratively and literally, for the slightest slip-up I might make and not a single person would bat an eye at it.

It was especially bad in 2020, where in addition to all the other stressful things going on that year, I kept hearing stories of things like BLM rallies where people were getting shot, or people breaking into places and stealing stuff, and everywhere you looked there was nothing but support for the people committing these criminal activities that would absolutely never be accepted otherwise because "Well, I support the shooters and the looters, because they're black, so obviously the victims did something to deserve it.". This kind of thing was even being said right here on RpNation, and I even ended up having to block some people I used to really look up to because of it.

It's absolutely terrifying, and I wish I didn't have to be a part of this world which I'm painfully aware that, at this point, would toss my broken remains into the deepest gutter they can find and not feel like something could be even the slightest bit wrong about it.

It was hard to watch in places for sure (and I skipped the TikTok videos, having experienced myself much of what he advised they contain). But I appreciate him making it, very much.

LegoLad659 LegoLad659 I do agree. During the pandemic was when this got essentially bad and it was when I experienced a lot of what the TikTok videos had to say about Caucasian individuals. I've experienced racism from multiple different people (mainly American Caucasians and American black people) for just being Caucasian. I kind of wanted to post the video to show others that they are not alone in the thought processes stated in the video or the experience.

I understand exactly how you feel. I wish everyone could just reason with each other and start focusing on constructive criticism, growth, love, and growing better as a world.

Kaerri Kaerri You most likely did yourself a favor by skipping the TikTok videos. They were definitely difficult and uncomfortable to watch (especially if you have ever been in a place where someone was saying those things or similar things to you or watching them say it to someone else). I feel like more people should watch the video to educate themselves on the damaging effects of how one is treated, no matter who, what, or why they are. A reason I posted it here and on a few other things.
