Working on Chapter 6 of Galarian Idiots. Here is an excerpt from what I have so far.
Kev looked at the Magikarp, who was splashing on the ground, slowly making its way back to the lake itself.
“Groan,” Jaune, you want this one?” Kev asked Jaune, who hopped up with a look of determination on his face. “Alright, use Peck to stop it.”
Jaune flew forward and pecked the side of the Magikarp, causing it to stop hopping from the lake and turn towards Jaune before hopping towards him as fast as it could before flailing up in the air, using Splash, not that Kev or Jaune knew that.
“Is it trying to use Tackle? Or Splash?” Kev asked out loud, as everyone sweatdropped mentally. Okay then… Jaune, use Peck again.”
Jaune did so, striking the fish again with Peck, which enraged the Magikarp. How dare this human and his bird show it such disrespect. It splashed as hard as it could, which did nothing but cause everyone to stare at it in confusion.
“Is it threatening us?” John asked. “I think it’s trying to threaten us…”
Kev nodded. “I think so? Could we wrap this up Jaune? Hone Claws and then Peck again.”
Once again, Jaune responded smartly, sharpening his talons on the ground and then charging forward and pecking the Magikarp one more time, knocking the fish Pokémon out.
