  • If you never got the word out about your Quest roleplay and no one expressed interest beforehand, there is a very low chance anyone else will see it and reply to it.

Since Quest interest checks don't show up on the recent thingy, I recommend pulling out all the stops when advertising.

Hi! Yes, I have sheep and try to be a good shepherd. Mine are Shetlands, so they are related to Icelandics. I have twenty at the moment: Two rams, seven ewes, eight wethers and three gimmers, with six of the ewes due to lamb in April. The ram in my profile is O'Leary, who is looking a bit scruffy at the moment as he is starting to roo.

If I get through the corona virus situation still healthy and solvent then I have been looking at perhaps getting some Icelandics as well, as dairy sheep. Do you milk yours?

Hope your lambing goes well. Mine lamb out in the field, I only bring them in if there's a problem. I think Icelandics are usually very good mums, just like Shetlands?

Yes, Icelandics make good moms, and we're gonna try milking our ewes once they give birth, because they're all pregnant. We also had to move our mother sheep into the barn because our ram was a little too excited to do his job. But so far, the lambing is going well, the mother is still able to get up and walk around, so that's good.
