Been here a while but the roleplay that I was a part of died off shortly after we moved it here, and I realized I never actually posted anywhere but there. I have since abandoned that group due to personal differences and have been looking for a new group, large or small, (but preferably more than just one or two people because I'm awful with one on one) to join and RP with. I typically prefer fantasy or modern settings, but for the most part I'm comfortable with almost anything. I've been on and off roleplaying for probably three years now, although most of the early days were physically painful and the epitome of cringe so I try to forget about them.
Outside of RP I'm an artist, albeit not a great one. I drew the character in my pfp and tend to sketch all of my rp characters rather than find faceclaims because it helps me feel more personally attatched to them hehe. Other than that I play a lot of video games, with some of my favorites being Fire Emblem (Blue Lions gang btw), Splatoon, and World of Warcraft. I play a fair bit of Smash (Ultimate and Melee) too but tend to avoid that one because as a whole I'm not a large fan of the community outside of local tournaments and friendlies.
I doubt I'll get too much attention here, but if anyone is looking for more for their group feel free to reach out to me. I need some new friends.

I'm honestly quite unprepared. Sort of feels like we're presenting a paper in front of the class. I was never too good at introducing myself.

Anywho.. You can call me Decadence. I've been a writer for a little over ten years, participated in many projects, sub stories and several one-shots.

I enjoy many genres and I'm not specific, however I do require an enjoyable story to really get in my 'muse.'

Respect goes both ways. I'm not ashamed to throw myself out there and get the ball rolling, however know that with all intents and purposes I'll hold you in a high regard. I just ask for the same in return.


Anybody can approach me if they wish. I'll be upfront and honest, but I assure I don't bite. I'm always open for discussion.


Patience is a virtue. I live a busy life half the time. Please understand that I will do my best and at the very least will let you know if I'm going to be delayed. Of course patience will also be given.

Why did I join the site? Honestly I'm under the impression that text based media has been dying for a while now and I'm just hoping to dive back into it while I can.


Friends may call me 'Deca' if they wish, but I'm not opposed to other silly nicknames from those I draw close to. Who knows? Perhaps it will be you.

I have quite a few characters at my disposal here, one for every major fandom im in!
I love Fantasy specfically, ive been on a bit of a Skyrim kick lately, so thats probably a factor in it, Lmao!
I am an adult, and have been doing Roleplays since probably 2007!

Howdy folks, nice to meet you all of course in due time. I literally just joined but wanted to do it a few days ago but kept putting it off. So, without further ado, here we go. I'm John, been writing for as long as I can remember. I started out with D&D with what feels like ages ago. I took a long hiatus due to being an adult and what not but started writing again a few years ago. I love creating characters and plot ideas and consider myself a decently experienced writer which I know I've had hard time finding like-minded folks. I love a wide variety of original content and fandoms, but I never do canon characters. I have several ideas that I've been dying to find good, solid writing partners. I typically only roleplay on Discord but suppose some branching out is manageable. I'm disabled, retired whatever folks call it these days. I served 8 years in the USMC, then the fire department and juvenile corrections.

But I've been roleplaying for a long time, starting with D&D, still enjoy playing but don't do it as much as I'd like. I love camping, hiking, walking my dog and generally being outdoors as much as I can these days. I have a wide variety of interests, both fandoms and OC content. Some fandoms are Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, there's a slight trend there. I love space, what can I say. Also for Original content stuff that's where I get really creative. I love making characters and plots, I decided to join RPNation hopefully to find like minded folks like myself. Discord rp channels of late have left me wanting to find a more solid group of writers and creators like myself. I have two dogs, one is 14 his name is Chap and a 2.5 year old German Sheperd whom I love a lot. Her name is Artemis.

And no I'm not old, just well experienced, but anyways feel free to message me and reach out to me anytime. Looking forward to meeting ya'll ladies and gents, until then take care and have fun. hi, my name is philip! i am nineteen, i use they / them pronouns. i have been roleplaying pretty seriously for about seven years now. i am an artist and i tend to draw my characters instead of using faceclaims, as the characters don't really feel like they are my own that way. i am an avid music listener and everytime spotify goes down, i start screaming and shaking on the ground because i definitely love being left alone with my own thoughts. i have been listening to gilded lily by cults on repeat here lately, but i am a super big fan of the bands starset and nine inch nails. my favorite movie has been the batman ( 2022 ) since i saw it in theaters last year in april. i saw it three nights in a row, it was that good to me. i look forward to meeting some new people, hopefully!

I almost hate to say it, but I've been RPing for nearly 15 years now (like half my life... ohmigosh...please don't judge me! :ghostxnx:). Collaborative storytelling re Forum RP is my preferred medium, but I've dabbled in a little bit of everything over the years... MMOs, tabletop, LARP, all the things.
I tend to gravitate toward urban fantasy, particularly with supernatural themes. And especially those that have criminal undertones - on either side of the law. But I really like anything where I get to kind of stretch and explore the blending of realities.
Outside of RP I have a deep hyperfixation for all things mythology and spirituality related, as well as LGTBQ+ activism and education.
Kinda found my way here through some roundabout searching whilst seeking a new place to exercise my writing. I've been out of the game for a while during the pandemic and finally felt enough extra energy to be creative again... so here I am!

Hello hello, My name is Frogs!! I have been roleplaying for close to a decade now and have unfortunately outgrown Amino and Wattpad role plays. I have many interest that span multiple different fandoms and the list is always growing, currently I'm looking to find partners for Danny Phantom, DC comics, Spider-Verse, and Percy Jackson roleplays!! I hope to meet some long term friends here!
 
Hello, call me gremlin. I'm slowly waning from being awake to a sleepy lull as I write this but done it must be ~ 👊
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
    • Everything has it's good and bad things, but generally it was fun to make characters and interact with others, the stories, relationships, and the good and/or fun writing. I've had a long break since coming back to the scene, hence find this here, but have been off/on two years previous with a bulk of my activity the first 3 years (started 2016-ish). Generally I lean to a fair amount of imagery and description, characterization, and action.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    • fictional, sci-fi, fantasy, powers, some 'fandoms?' (original characters in a pre-existing world/setting, etc. but not canon characters)
    • character centric, development, plot, dynamics and relationships
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • at my own pace, watching critical role (and the show that came from it, Vox Machina)
    • trying out games (I don't always stick with them, I'm fickle and picky, I might binge a game and then drop from it, I don't go back to a lot of games.)
    • dancing, music, art, story
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • Other sites didn't seem as easy to navigate or within my comfort zone, not that I found many. It also seems like a neat site for writing and community, only trying out will I be able to see for myself. I may have even had an account here once.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
    • I do not have a pet, though I do see friends' and my family's pets- one of my co-workers just bought a puppy a couple days ago and I got to hold her! It was the most precious moment I have had in a long while, you can't surpass something so pure like that.
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.
    • I just started playing Genshin Impact.
    • I am a coffee drinker.
    • I like going to the grocery store.
 
Hello everyone, I'm Dimmy and it's nice to meet you!

I'm getting back into RPing for the first time in years, and I'm excited to come back into the fold. I've really missed building stories with other people.

I don't think I'm particularly interesting, but here's a few tidbits about me:
  • I am a servant to own two cats.
  • In my spare time I enjoy gaming - particularly JRPGs and MMOs.
  • Prior to my hiatus I'd been RPing - in some capacity - since I was 12/13 or so (back in the AOL days).
  • I can't watch TV/movies. For some reason sitting down and reading a book for hours doesn't trigger my ADHD, but a 25min episode? Inconceivable.
  • I hate cream cheese, which is - for almost everyone I meet - an absolute shock. But I aspire to meet any fellow cream cheese haters, we must stand united!

Outside of roleplaying, I like to read, binge-watch TV shows and movies, hike, cook, and listen to music (a lot of music).

I'm hoping to find one or two long term roleplaying partners (1x1 interest check pending!)
