Hello everyone! I'm Ruby and its nice to meet all of you!!

I've been roleplaying for a while, I enjoy it bunches and bunches but I don't really consider myself to be any kind of professional. I love roleplaying because it allows me to escape the worries of the real world for a little while and explore all kinds of worlds and stories thanks to the boundless creativity of myself and others! It feels to me like two like-minded people come together to write an amazing story that they themselves are apart of! I love almost any genre, but my personal favorites are fantasy and sci-fi!!

I've got about a year or two of experience, but I'm not saying that I'm the best or anything at it. Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
I have been roleplaying for a few years. Not much though in terms of D&D. Mostly freeplay, where I can do whatever with basically no dice rolling. But those aren't all too fun, as I really do like dice rolling.

What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
Science fiction, fantasy, slice of life, superhero/in training kind of thing.

What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
Cardfight!! Vanguard is arguably the best trading card game ever played. Other TCGs as well; recently obtained all my main deck cards for Exodia OTK deck. Video games such as Skyrim 5, breath of the wild, the witcher 3, hyrule warriors, fire emblem three houses, pokemon sword. Anime, marvel/DC tv shows and movies, eating foodstuffs, eight ball pool, ping pong, sometimes chess. Numerous games on my ipad and phone.

Why you decided to join RpNation.
I was looking for a character sheet template for another slice of life RP I'm running somewhere else, and found this website. Seems legit, so here I am to browse the RPs and maybe I'll join one someday when my life isn't as crazy as it already is with college and full time work.

I have a female calico kitty named Pikachu. Like her name, she darts all over the place and loves to playfight with my hand, foot, or anything else she can grab onto and bite softly.

Firefly here! Nice to meetcha! Firefly is kind of a recent handle. I tend to write specifically under this moniker these days! But if you'd prefer, you can call me Sofia!

• Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.

So then! my experience with roleplaying. Honestly. I've been doing it on and off for almost 15 years now. I started out in the structured lands of Talkcity in a small chatroom known as Tyrannights. That's really where I found my feet and is still a community I poke on occasion. From there I moved to Gaia, a place that up until recently I've been rping on for over a decade. But as time ahs gone on, as I'm sure anyone who has RPed on Gaia knows, it's kind of become a bit of a wasteland. Finding a halfway decent RP on there feels just impossible and I'm growing rather tired of every PM being about me playing someones 'owner'. Like sure, I love some of that stuff. (I write a fair bit of it on my DA. But that's a story for another day.) But when I'm hunting for some genuine RP in categories I like, it gets old being the only responses I ever get. Beyond that, I've RPed and still do RP on discord when I can find a partner and recently have been on the hunt for somewhere new to poke. So here I am!

• What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.

Oh gosh. Should I do this the long way? Or the short way? My interests in RP vary dramatically. I'm into everything from heartwarming Slice-Of-Life RPs to Fandom based creations. (Recently I've been delving into My Hero Academia RP's.) I have a lot of varied tastes, but I'm also a try-anything-once kind of gal. And if I like, try it more than once. Long story short, I'm into a bit of everything.

• What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.

Outside of Writing/RP and in the world of RL-land. I have quite a few hobbies. I own two horses and can often be found at the barn caring for them and riding. I have two lovely Norwegian Elkhounds who are a huge part of my home life. I do figure skating regularly, I play the violin, I also do ballet on a regular basis but mostly to improve my skating. Besides those main things I could be considered a bit nerdy. I am into Anime and occasionally delve into the realm of video games. I also LOVE to read, which I think is where a big part of me loving to write comes from.

• Why you decided to join RpNation.

Well, as I mentioned above. I've just been on a bit of a hunt to find a new place to roleplay. My old haunts are growing stale and it's time to shake things up, buttercup! So y'know...poke me if you're interested in RPing.

• Write about your pet (if you have one).

I have four. I have a lovely year and a half-old Clydesdale who I'm pretty sure thinks he is a dog. But he's a big lovely softie named Royal-lee Aurora Borealis (Bo for short.) My other horse is more of a mini-horse. He's a sassy miniature horse named Dakota. He was the first horse I ever bought and will always hold a piece of my heart. Fun fact about him, his registered name is Doctor 'Dakota' Whooves. Besides my two horses, I also have two dogs. Both are Norwegian Elkhounds. I've had both of them for about 2 years now. My girls name is Aspen and she's a huge, cuddly sweetheart. And my boy is named Evergreen who is also a cuddly boy but is about twice the size of Aspen and likes to sit on top of you rather than cuddle.

• Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

- I practice circus arts on occasion.
- I love My Little Pony.
- I once hand-tilled an entire 2-acre farm field on my own with a manual till.

Salut! I'm Lavendear, and I've been roleplaying on-and-off for 10 years now. I mainly roleplay in fandom settings and love anime (FMA, Death Note, Beastars, HxH, Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, One Piece, Ragnarok, etc.). Aside from that I also play numerous video games and in general do things that are unproductive.

I'm an absolute sucker for fluffy romance and dating stuff, but at the same time I ADORE horror, so I'm not entirely one-note (hopefully lol).

Pretty sure I've also roleplayed just about every setting at least once, including Modern, Fantasy, Medieval, Sci-Fi, Iesekai, Heaven/Hell, Mythology, etc. and don't really have a preference (as long as there's cute romance, at least!)

So yeah, that's me. Mainly just joined to try out other roleplay sites than the ones I'm used to. Also, anyone can feel free to message me! I enjoy talking to people and try to be generally personable.

EDIT: Oh, I'm also pansexual and tend to write LGBT characters, but I write plenty of straight ones too! Both OCs and pre-existing canon ones.

It was my absolute favorite thing in the whole world, and then I graduated from high school. I went to college, I got a job, and suddenly I no longer had the time or brain power to do what I loved. Now, I'm 25, I have not only a Bachelor's but also a Master's, I have a real job (that still gives me PLENTY of free time), and I really miss roleplaying the most. So, here I am, back from the dead, ready to find amazing people like before, and do something awesome.

Hello! I don't like going by my true name, but Bucky works just fine! I've been roleplaying for about 5 years now, started way back then on Quotev. I've never been on RPNation before, but so far, I think I like it! I do a lot of detailed roleplays, though I don't like setting a certain length response. Sometimes the creative juices just aren't flowing for a certain reply >.<. I love to do angst and fluff for roleplays and have a very wide variety of scenes and settings I like. I'm in a ton of fandoms. Marvel, Overwatch, RDR2, DBD, and Political Animals just to name a few! I'm totally up to a new roleplaying partner and am very flexible when it comes to such. Don't be afraid to message me! I have a couple of disorders, so forgive me if I don't respond quickly or mess up my words. But I try my best! I like to draw, read, listen to music and watch youtube!
