Hello! I'm Ryu. I've been roleplaying on and off for a little over a year now. I'm Asian and english is not my main language so I sometimes fucked up in term of grammar and vocabs. It's better most of the day but when you just went through a day finishing two essay homework, having a group project where you waited for your partners long enough to make grass grow under your feet, and taking a part-time job until late at night, I don't think grammar, spelling and sht like that would even cross your mind. So yeah, I just had a rare time where the teachers decided to be kind enough to only give out small and easy assignments lately. I thought it would be good to enjoy my time a little and got back in roleplaying, see if my writing skill still suck or not.

LittleStarRyu Yoyoo Ryu, welcome! As someone who's also not a native English speaker, I feel your pain LMAO. Personally, I've found that grammar.ly is very helpful in catching onto mistakes here and there, so I definitely recommend that if you're looking to strengthen your English skills.

Hey all, Jared here! Ok so, cringey YouTube reference aside... Hello! I'm Jared, I'm 25 and I am a college student studying for my MA in Architecture in NYC. I'm from the Midwest but I love the big city. I'm a huge history buff! Particularly Involving the Roman Empire, The Empire of Japan, Australia and Japan!

Outside of college and history I'm huge into music, writing and playing it. Taking care of my kitten. Playing games; both video games and board games. I have a gaming PC, a PS4, and a Switch. My favorite games as of late are Smite, Minecraft, GTA Online, Red Dead Redemption 2, and I've had a blast with Persona 5 so far!

As for work I lost my job due to Covid but I'm able to keep myself busy now by streaming and by back into DND. I'm always willing to look for more games to join or to DM. I love helping introduce people to the game of Dungeons & Dragons.

And finally, roleplay. I LOVE to roleplay. I've got about 13 years of experience. A long term roleplay with a ton of character development and building a complex duo of characters that we not only learn about each other but ourselves through are the very reasons I roleplay.

Hey there. I'm CryoLilly, and I'm new here in case that wasn't obvious. I've been off of forum RP for a while now but I've been roleplaying in general for years and writing even longer. I tend not to share that much about myself, but I'm currently a cook out of work for Covid reasons and I've been craving a new outlet for RP.

I tend to prefer small groups, typically in fantasy or fantasy adjacent settings, though really I'm flexible. I'm a big fan of the mundane in RP, those little details of life in a fictional world really make it all the more special for me. Playing a girl with a flower shop in a world of powerful magic, distant conflict, and living gods? Sign me right up. I do like playing more D&D styled characters too. And oh boy do I have a soft spot for Vampires...

Here's Basic info about me first of all:
-My name is Kalix
-I'm 17, turning 18 on July 11
-I'm a transgender male
-I use He/Him/His pronouns
-I'm gay (And proud) (I'm also Demisexual)
-I'm in Pacific Standard Time (PST)
-I have been told I'm rather mature for my age
-Outside of RP I enjoy drawing, creative writing, cosplaying, photography, and theater
-My profile picture is a pretty accurate interpretation of how I look irl.

My RP Preferences:
-I really love slice of life, mystery, fandom, and occasionally horror rp.
-Almost all of my RPs involve some form of romance, just because that is my main preference
-I tend to be semi-literate with replies, though sometimes they are longer or shorter
-I have a hard time focusing on long replies but am able to do it, it just takes me a bit.
-I don't like heavy angst, s**cide, animal abuse, or extreme violence.
-I prefer M x M but I am also okay with M x F or F x F.
-I love OC x OC but I'm also okay with fandom character x fandom character
-I tend to reply a lot at first but then my replies begin to get slower as I get busy with life.
-I've never used this RP area before but I'm willing to learn, however I also have Discord and that is much more familiar to me.
-I do not like when my RP partner(s) have horrible and illegible responses. Though I understand that we are only human and we do make occasional mistakes.
-I'm also okay with Double-up fandom/OC RP, and polyamorous romance RPs.
-I would also love to be able to have OOC chats with people, though I'm a bit awkward.

-I try to make them have different personalities but a lot of times they start to relate to my personality irl.
-Most of my characters are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
-Often times I begin to feel like I am the character and that is why extreme violence and major angst are not okay for me.
-When I RP my character usually is played based on how I am currently feeling. (This applies to fandom characters as well.)
