Introduce Yourself!

Hi all!

I'm making my way back into the forum rp scene after a long break. I've played on multiple formats, from pen and paper/tabletop, to forums, to discord and mmorpg.


I like to at least short para, but stories that draw out multiple paragraphs and novellas are my first love. I like detailed plots, flawed characters, and delving into the light and dark of psychology and the grey zones between 'good' and 'evil.' Bonus points when its hard to tell who the good and bad guys are, based on the point of view of a scene.

I decided to give rp nation a try because it looked easy to navigate, with a wide range of genres and stories to write. I want to cast a fairly wide net and juggle 2-3 stories at any given time. I also write for a living rl. I plan to post at least once a day once I have some active stories on my plate.

Very new to the RP scene. Ive been apart of a few groups, none that lasted very long, and I've roleplayed in DND a bit. But otherwise, I don't really have any experience. XD

I'm a fantasy writer, so I assume fantasy RPs is what I'll be interested in. I've been writing for about 8 years, so while I don't have experience creating a story with others, I do have experience getting my thoughts and ideas down.
 
Hi all- my name is Talathel - feel free to call me Thel, Tala or even Jade! I’ll answer to all three honestly. I’ve been doing rp stuff for about 9 years now, and mainly focus on a wide variety of animal based rps as well as fantasy based. My main hobbies are ballet, reading, singing, and biology/animal science! My career interest is going into Conservation Medicine and hopefully working abroad in South Africa or Nepal. I’ve done volunteer work in Nepal at the Kathmandu Central Zoo which has been my favorite adventure ever. I have many pets but my one that lives with me in my apartment is Calypso, my tiny kitty who is my very life. She’s a tabby cat and super cute- she is a hyper ball of energy and can also be a lap cat too. She loves chasing her tail, going on walks, and being crazy.

I think I roleplayed since,, mid 2010's?? Idk but when miiverse was created- I'm usually good on 1 on 1, especially with friends but im also good with group rps!! Uhhh I guess thats it?? Oh!! I tend to be lit/semi lit and I usually write one longgggg paragraph which can be seperate to 2-3 or 4!! Also im kinda a slow typer so pbtthhh- I tend to mirror my partners!!

I just realized I've never written on this page. Oops! Oh well. So um hi I'm Fuzz I guess ,not my real name obviously. I first started rping not to long ago it started when I got invited to play DnD at a friend house then I wanted to do an online rp that was decent and that led me here. I love fantasy and mythical rps and some good hero vs villains occationly. I'm terrible at spelling stuff. And um yeah I think that's it! Hope everyone has a great day or night!

For now you can call me Wabbit, if you like. I'm never really sure what to write in these things, so I just decided to take the list from the top post and answer them all. ^_^


  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
    • Well let's see, I'm 32, been roleplaying with...varying...degrees of success/lack of awkwardness since I was about 14/15. I grew up in the "Wild West" days of the inter-webz, but most of my experience has been largely story based and plot driven rather than being treated as a formal game, but I'm familiar enough with "D&D-esque" mechanics to be comfortable in them.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    • I'd like to find, and eventually start one of my own, something in urban fantasy. Modern/Not-so-Distant Future backdrop but still has fun stuff like magic and fairies and the like. I will play whatever is the closest I can get to a DPS and/or Control Mage.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • Amateur author, avid video gamer, oh and most importantly, spending time with my step-kids. That's about as deep as I'm comfortable getting in so public a message.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • It's been a long time since I've been on a message board RPG like this, and most of the ones I would get on in the past were very singular in their theme. But I also write a lot of fan fiction and I'm trying to work on an original novel. Stuff like this used to be very inspiring and I believe it still can be.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
    • Sadly can't have an actual PET where I live, but there is a stray cat that hangs around, I feed him scraps every so often. I call him Stubbins, because he only has like...25% of his tail left. No idea how he lost the other 75, but he's very affectionate and actually does a fairly good job of staying bug free for a stray in largely rural area.
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.
    • I'm a smoker (420 friendly)
    • I've received a black rose and, of course, lived to tell about it
    • I was an E-3 in the Air Force

Hello! My name is Aristeia. I just graduated high school a few months ago and I've just recently started getting back into roleplaying. I used to do it for years back in the day but life got so busy and I stopped for a few years. But, being in quarantine has got be bored out of my mind so I figured I'd give it a try again! I might be a little rusty haha. I also just joined this website so I'm not quite sure I've got the hang of it yet. I mainly roleplay Attack On Titan, but occasionally I've done other shows like Sword Art Online, Voltron, and RWBY. If anyone is interested in that, please feel free to message me!

Shawdo here, I know the name is spelt wrong but this if for a reason. I am somewhat new to RP Nation. I used to be on here many many years ago and enjoyed learning everything I could about the site. I was involved in some small RP that I am sure are long gone by now but am looking forward to creating new characters, meeting new people, and learning all over again the love of RP!

Hey there. New to the site, but have rp’d for years. Looking to get back into it.

(Edit cause it was 2am and I realize I can provide more information.)

I really enjoy a lot of fantasy/high fantasy/dark fantasy type genres. I’m also down for most apocalyptic or dystopian settings. I’ve never tried cyberpunk or anything like that but I wouldn’t mind giving it a try. Historical type settings and Victorian I’m also heavily into currently. Horror/gore and such is fine too.
I’m also very inspired and interested in Japanese folklore and mythology and would like to potentially explore those things.

Fandoms typically vary depending on the kind of mood I’m in but things that have stuck for a while have been: Dragon Age, Fallout, Elder Scrolls (Skyrim), D&D/Pathfinder (which I’m hoping getting back into roleplaying will reignite some creativity.)

Currently just looking for 1x1 partners and maybe trying to do a group later on with a friend and others. Please don’t hesitate to pm me! I love meeting new people and would love to rp with people :)

I am new here, I've been roleplaying for a little over 9 years. I usually rp a lot of fantasy settings or ships, like Hannigram, Destiel, Ineffable Husbands, and even anime ships. I love to read, draw, write and cook in my free time. I wanted to join RP nation to find a longterm rp partner, I had one that was great to write out scenes with of our favorite mlm ships but we fell out of communication and so I'm trying anew. I I used to rp a lot, but stopped due to life happening. I'd I'd like to get back into it!
I usually adjust my text length to my rp partner/s, but it has to have a base in the story, I don't like forcing long texts that don't contribute anything to the plot, so my text length may vary.
I'm pretty easy going and like anything fantasy related, thought please no micro-managung everything. Let the story flow ^^

I am new to the site but not new to roleplaying, I've been roleplaying for a couple of years and I hope to make new friends with everyone I talk to and all I'd like to do is say hi to everyone!

Now, a few things about me are, my favorite song is Stranded by Red Vox, I love to draw (even though I am not good, don't ask to see!), I love lofi hip-hop, and I love Studio Ghibli movies!

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing great :) I'm new to this site, but I'm excited to try a new platform. I've been roleplaying for roughly 12 years or so, and I started originally on Quizilla and now almost strictly through email but I want to try more, since email partners are kind of running dry. I'm 25, a huge animal lover, going to school with currently no job
