Hello, good evening, or possibly even good morning depending on how you look at things. My name is Mothica but you may call me Mothy, M, Moth, or Thic if you're feeling particularly feisty. I have been in the RP game form nearly 6 years now and I can honestly say that it never gets old. I am hoping to make a lot of new friends while I am apart of the RPNation. I've been role-playing longer than I care to mention, starting with chatrooms then moving to forums and the like. My last community seems to have cannibalized itself (RIP) so I'm excited to expand my horizons, meet new people, and have some fun! So far I like the way everything here is organized -- very welcoming!

I've been RPing since the better part of the 90s. Even before then I've had solo stories in my head. Recently, however, I've been having dry spells about getting my requests out there, and I think it has to do with my intros, so I'm hoping to change my luck here.
I really go for fantasy fiction. Realistic is fine, but I want to use my imagination and just go for it and play. I like action & fighting scenes, technology, magic & special powers, the classic good vs evil with some grey area in-between, Romance & Love scenarios, exploring world & universes, and just doing things I enjoy personally.
Hopefully, I find a partner or two that can help me to write something awesome. Until then, I'll see you all around.

I call myself Revelth and I think that I first dipped my toe into roleplaying around 3 years ago. I've never gotten into any long term rps since then but now I'm here mostly to improve my creative writing skills and develop some good habits while hopefully having some fun! I've noticed that the roleplays I enjoyed the most always seemed to have some fantasy elements in them and I always seemed to gravitate away from fandom rps. Having said that, I'm going to try and mix things up to break out of my comfort zone. When getting away from the internet and into the real world I have a lovebird who doesn't love me back and a guinea pig who pees on me if I'm not vigilant. Anyways, thanks for spending your time reading about me! ~Revelth

I play around four to five years now. A pro? No. A neophyte? Neither.
Currently, I am still learning a lot of stuff. Don't worry, though, my one-liner phase is over (sighs o, so dark times...)
So, here I go:
My rp-style:
I tried 1st Person once and it wasn't really my ride. I prefer 3rd Point-of-view.
My posts will be long. I love to detail a much as possible- depending on the situation, of course. In conversations, I try to keep them short.
But as I mentioned, I am still learning.
Grammar is- well, some rules are there to be broken.
A bit about myself:
I savor the privileges of an only child. Sometimes it might happen that I freak people out, but mostly I am a conversable and sociable (at least I hope so-) Person.
I love spicy foods- I really, really do.
My obsession with breeds are Tieflings and Dark elves- I have a soft spot for them, honestly
Genres I enjoy:
Fantasy is my ship- literally.
I don't mind any other Genre, too. Except for-

Slice-of-Life and Fandom based rps are tedious to me.

first of all let me say that it's nice to be here, looking for a new home as my last one is shutting down, and being displaced never feels nice, but alas it is what it is.
Now with that out of the way let me say I've been RP'ing now for about fifteen years and love the freedom, creativity and the purity of the joy of the art-form.
While I'm not the best, I can say that I do put a lot of effort and thought into my RP's so I look forward to hearing from you, and possibly joining you in some adventures.
My Style is normally multi-paragraph, written from the third-person perspective, now this does not mean I won't do shorter posts if that's what the RP demands of me, but I do like to take my time and think everything out before I reply, this does sometimes mean I take a little longer to reply, but I try to make them worth the wait.
Finally, I'm generally up for RP'ing anything, so long as I understand the setting I can RP it, this has seen me go from Horror, all the way through to slice of life and fantasy, if you name it I've probably done an RP that involves it, well save for some of the topics that we shall not discuss, purely because I don't like those types.
Looking forward to hearing from you

Locally appropriate time-of-day-based greeting, everyone. I'm Raker and I play roles. I've been writing for an embarrassingly long time, and roleplay is where I keep myself limber between stories. I've also had a deep and abiding love of tabletop roleplaying games since Elf was a character class, and love to world-build in my off time. And obviously, I’m a tremendous nerd. But that’s just one of my many hats. I was a fencing prevot in college, bartender to afford fencing lessons, military linguist, military aviator, and I’m a husband and dad trying to beat the old sword into a ploughshare on a sustainable family farm. I’ve got a couple of college degrees in things that have nothing to do with any of that, a couple more that do, and more hobbies than any sane and rational person in any income bracket has any right to.

Ahoy! I'm Navi and I RP. Like, a lot. I love telling interesting stories in group settings, from TTRPGs to free form. In my free time I collect hobbies. I game, I write, I write games, and I generally keep busy with more ongoing projects at any given time than is strictly healthy. I've been at this for more years than I will admit to, and I haven't met a genre yet that I couldn't find a way to get into, so with a little luck I'll be seeing you in the threads before too terribly long.
