Evening. I'm a a no longer very young dude just about hitting my midlife crisis range who's been roleplaying since around maybe 2009 with my start on some forums I can barely remember. I love gritty, grimy, and alien or eldritch science fiction with a preference for playing grotesque and generally weird as hell characters with an emphasis on the horrifically inhuman. I can keep it short or I can ramble on and on but I love meeting new people and brainstorming zany ideas. I hope to get along with all of you!

Hello! I had the sudden urge to start roleplaying again. I've been roleplaying kind of on and off since 2012/2013ish with just some friends through Skype, or whatever medium we wanted to use. We eventually went on this other RP forums site, but eventually just stopped roleplaying. I kind of missed doing RPs on forum websites, so I decided to give this one a try! ive been rping since i was like 12 but I wasn't very good so we don't talk about that.... I'm a cartoonist, I write sometimes, and i'm really into fantasy stuff! ( dragons are eeepiccc..............) My friend actually introduced me to some of her stuff, asked if I was interested in trying to write a reply, and I was hooked from that point. I am 21, I have written for Dead by Daylight rp and don't know what other genres interest me yet, but I'm excited to become immersed!

Hello everyone. I am the Overseer. I'm surprised that this name hasn't been taken already, but I won't complain.

You may not know this, but I was a role player from the now defunded Google+ community. I lived through a golden age of role playing and slowly developed my writing and narrative skills. It was there I found out I was less of a character driven role player, but a narrative driven one. What I mean is that I was not there to fulfill a power fantasy, I was there to write a narrative, to the dismay of the rest of the role playing community. But at the very least, I found out I was one hell of a Dungeon Master later on in life. I found my wanting as someone to direct a grand narrative rather than playing a character I didn't care about. In other words, I have no preference on what genre or settings, as long as I am able to dictate the narrative that can be presented to an audience.

Now then, as for why I am here. I have an idea. A story to tell, if you must. I have the basic premise, but I am yet able to draw out its details. Therefore the best way to conjure this story is with a role playing community. If I am so graciously allowed, I promise, by the end of this, we'll create a masterpiece of a narrative.

After what amounts to roughly 5 years of roleplay hiatus, I think I've had it with merely talking to myself about cool and fun ideas and I wish to partake in the hobby once more.

Prior to this, I garnered about 7 years of active roleplay experience specifically within the broad fantasy genre. I love living on the edgy side and a lot of my characters reflect that.
I'm happy to roleplay within fandom or canon universes but I really dislike playing established characters.

About myself; I am a 19 year old living in Germany who works far too much for his own good. Despite the icon and name, I am in fact a male.

I like to begin conversations and interactions in general very formally, but that quickly melts away to a more casual conduct if I feel comfortable around you. Even so, please don't be shy to reach out to me, I promise it's just a comfort thing for me and I'm not going to snap at you for writing mistakes or what not.

I hope to hear from a variety of people soon!

Nobody I've met so far really has done anything like that, so I don't think you'll have that problem. Most of us are the type of people who write paragraphs instead of asterisks (*) so I think you'll really enjoy this site!

Hi guys, I'm Eia (a nickname of mine for ooc) and this is my character Sera Quinn! I have been roleplaying but stopped for a year for personal reasons, but I am back with a bANG! I am quite literate, so maybe I fall on the category of being a semi-literate. I can do 3 paragraphs at most, and roleplaying has been helping me develop my communication skills especially in english since it is only my second language. I joined RPnation after reading some of the forums and I just know I'm going to fit just right in here. I wish to make new friends most though, since the world's currently gone to-like, shit- and I want to visit a few hobbies of mine to entertain myself.

Now, about Sera. She's mostly an annoying sidekick character who always got their friend's back, and will always be there for them. She currently is taking care of a single large egg she stole from a mage's cabin in the woods and is carrying on her back with a makeshift backpack. So in roleplay, the egg will most likely be mentioned. That's Baby. The egg's name is Baby. Please love Baby, and Sera will love and protect you with all of her might.

Sera Quinn. A woman with the raven hair and matching black eyes. Her hair reaches only above her shoulder, one side tucked behind her ear. Her body type is on the thicker side, which makes is hard for her to run for long periods of time, but she makes it up for being stealthy- like you wouldn't even hear her walk inside a room when she really tries to be quiet. She also has poor eyesight, sporting round glasses with thick lenses to be able to see normally. She has yet to discover what type of weapon suits her the best, but for now, Baby takes care of the enemies she encounter with her travels.

Baby is a large unidentified egg who glows brightly and takes away random senses from the enemies for a short period of time, giving Sera the chance to grab a rock or whatever hard thing is near her and knock it against a few heads before continuing on her way.
