Hi I'm Nevelynn, a friend of mine pointed me to this website and I thought I'd give it a go!
I used to write a lot in my early teens, usually the fantasy or supernatural genre's, but I do also love me some drama/mystery/suspence/thriller.
In all I'm not native to the english language but I'd like to believe my english ain't bad.
Basically I'm looking for some fun, literate, group roleplays.

But, besides that, I'm Christina, I work full time and I'm also trying to start a business with my art, oof its ruff, and I love my dog and my boyfriend. I don't know much about the linkage rules yet, I'll exploring them in depth soon. I'm not a fan of the lack of chat, but I'm also a bit young for forums in general, I think. We'll see how this goes.

Hello. You can call me Broken. I took a break from writing for a few years to raise my two year old but I have been wanting to get back into the swing of things. I am an experienced writer/roleplayer. I have over 10 years under my belt. Some of my favorite genres are Crime based, action, tragedy, romance. I'm always open for different things as well. I have a very wide spectrum of characters and stories for different genres of writing. I always throw part of myself into my characters. I'm just really excited to get back into writing and make some great stories! ^_^

Not sure if I'm doing this correctly but, I'm Mouse! I'm interested in mostly anime or game roleplays (ESPECIALLY Sengoku Basara and Fire Emblem) and working on my storytelling/Descriptions via ocs! Hopefully I make a lot of friends and achieve my goals!
 
Hello everyone! I’ve never really interacted with forums before, so please forgive me if I’m not doing this right, but I’m April. I’ve been roleplaying for about five years now on and off, so I wouldn’t call myself particularly seasoned, but I try my best! I usually do storylines and such with Ocs when roleplaying, but I think a lot of my characters are really bland and could use some developing. I think however, that practice makes perfect and that I’ll just improve the more I do it and study everyone else.
Other than that, I’m really open minded as far as what genres of role plays I am able to do, and I enjoy trying out new things, so please come to me if you have an idea you’d like to try out!
I could probably write for a long time, but I doubt anyone would read it all, so I’m just going to finish my introduction by saying that I’m really excited to be here! I’m really looking forward to sharpening my storytelling skills as well as make new friends. Though I feel it will be a bit always to get used to the website, I think I’ll get ahold of it!

  • I started RPing in D&D, but I sucked at it. Recently started (Since last December) political roleplay in a site called NationStates. It's a cut above D&D, I guess.

What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.

  • Slice of Life and Comedy. Definitely Modern era, or anything resembling RL.

What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.

  • Writing fanfiction. Deleted all of my old work so don't ask me about it anymore. :P

Why you decided to join RpNation.

  • It's quarantine. I'm bored.

Write about your pet (if you have one).

  • Cookie. He's a Shih Tzu. The other is Sandy, a very old cream-coated Labrador.

Haha, same here. :neutralteeth: Finding a place where plot, characters, world building, and collaboration is the focus instead of smut, is just such a fresh breathe of air isn't it?

Yeah, the art biz is crazy hard to make profitable. i'm kinda headed in the same direction, or at least that's where i'm trying to head.

Also agree on the lack of a live chat option. though i also really like the forum style option, as it allows more organization, and seems to encourage longer form, and better thought out posts. but having a live chat section would be a lovely feature to add in my oppinion.

I know allot of folks use discord to chat about OOC details, and planning etc, as they work together. but i'm not sure if the site itself has a dedicated discord server...🤔 i should really look into that.
