Reintroducing myself because it's almost been another year lolol. I haven't actually started until now! Excited to ACTUALLY get back into it.
 
Hi, everyone! I used to be super into roleplaying in like circa 2012-2016. Unfortunately, life happens, and I kinda forgot about it. However, I'm trying to work on my mental health and find some hobbies/interests again, which is why I'm giving this another shot! I used to have so much fun, and I seriously enjoyed roleplaying back in the day.

I'm currently a sophomore in college, majoring in wildlife biology. I don't have anything specific that I'm interested in at the moment, so I'm probably going to lurk around until I find something that fires me up.

Hello! I am Jayson and originally, rping is what got me to start writing in the first place and my writing skills have grown a lot over the years.

I mainly delve into fantasy, but am not afraid to go into other genres like Sci-Fi and Mystery.
 
Hello! My name is kyuu—pronounced like the letter Q—and I also frequently go by just Q. I've been roleplaying for a few years as a means to improve on my writing and I'm a huge fan of anime, manga, games, the whole shebang. Not currently keeping up with any airing anime, but my recent favorites are anything by Akasaka Aka (Author of Kaguya-sama Love is War and Oshi no ko), Vinland Saga, Kingdom, and various Otome manga (a bit of a guilty pleasure.) I'm fond of history, RPGs, romance, political intrigue—a wide assortment of things, really—and so in Role Plays I favor expansive worlds with plenty of world-building to fuel my ambitions for conquest. Hi! I'm Sprite, a closeted transdemi-boy. I've been roleplaying for a couple of years now, and have found a heart for textbased roleplays. I've only ever role-played via WhatsApp text with my current girlfriend, since we both really enjoy it, but I found this site and decided to give it a go. I thuroughly enjoy LGBTQ+ related roleplays, but not just romance. I also do adventure, action, fantasy, post apocalyptic, and science fiction.
I love writing narratives and plays, but with roleplays, it's other reactions and possibilities created by the other person that makes it so exciting for me.
My only issue is that I need to plan a basic plot before begining a roleplay, and creating a character bio.

I'm looking for anyone who's willing to roleplay with me and have got a creative touch to their mind. 😝
 
Greetings to all you nice people on this forum. After years of RPing on DeviantArt, I've run into a great deal of both really good and really bad experiences stemming from it all. From my favorite RPs not getting as much exposure as I would like, to finding RPs with others that turn out really fun, only to be passive aggressively ghosted by those I do them with. The best ones ever never seem to last all the way, which really makes me sad.

Okay, my main issue was the lack of exposure, looking at the ratio to how many RPs I posted to my results, it was barren. Golden experiences for me were as rare as Shiny Pokemon.

So then it occurred to me, that I should in fact RPing somewhere that's made specifically for....Well, RPs. Somewhere I can hope to live out the very best RPs I've had lying around for as long as I've been into this. While laying out my preferences from the beginning. Simply put, I came here hoping for the best experience possible.



Where to begin? What I like best are long term RPs. I speak of course of entire series length story lines, Arcs and all. I put together the Original Characters, and all else, in advance to maximize every little thing. Nothing better than that coming together in a unique way depending on how whoever's up for it goes through the whole thing. On the rare occasion someone like that would come across such an RP of mine, it made me feel like a kid with a new cartoon to watch every Saturday. If that makes any sense.

Alternatively, on the tail end of my DeviantArt RP Dynasty lied what I can only call multiple character selection RPs. Where I give one scenario and, as the name suggests, multiple characters to choose from to RP with. When I first started out it was one character restricted to one scenario. But posting each idea I've ever had up to this point, ALL with relevant characters for my partner to choose from. THAT is far far more functional.



Paragraph replies, single sentence replies, I'm not heavily bothered by how big or small you're accustomed to. As long as you're into it and we keep it going, I'm fine. Most folks I've encountered could work with big or small, and in fact a lot of the time gave me single or two sentence replies at a time. But one person got annoyed with me for not making my replies long enough. Just wanted to clarify I'm really flexible, but in all seriousness give me enough to work with.



In case anyone's wondering, I don't have Discord. And please don't ask me to get it. RPing here will be restricted to messages and replies. Know that borderline all of whatever I post will be the multiple character selection format. And as flexible as I am, I'll list different character profiles based on who is best suited for whatever it is. And of course I look forward to re purposing my very favorite RPs rat off the bat. But speaking of which, if anyone's interested in those I still have lying around on DeviantArt, you'll find them all here. Plus two more.

Hello! I am Lorphiiforme, currently I hope to start a roleplay where we go to Cabela’s in glendale. The main focus will be the animals, though not alive and stuffed mounts. There is also a upstairs, food and drinks! I don’t really know how this works since i’ve been only in 3 forums counting this one now so, hope to see you at recruitment if that’s where you get roleplayers, and also here’s a image for you.

Hello. PizzaDragon, avid player of d20-based TTRPGs. I tend towards forever DM, but I love to play just as much. I run Pathfinder, DnD 5E, Godbound, Star Wars Saga Edition, and Lancer. I also do free-form RP, but I'm admittedly less comfortable without a ruleset or guidelines.

Hi, I’m Zombee, I’ve been rping for about eight years now and just wanted to get back in the scene. There’s something about the storytelling and coming up with new plots and ideas and twists to the journey that really makes me happy. I’m also an artist so rping inspires me to draw scenes or design characters. Ah, let’s see… I use they/them pronouns, I’m turning 22 in a few months, I’m usually a pretty shy person and outside of RPNation I work in a comic book store (one of my coworkers recommended this site for me) so… hi!

I've been out of the roleplaying scene for almost 5 years however was roleplaying for 4 years before that and now primarily write fanfiction.
I am interested in Hellsing & Black Lagoon.
Mainly joined to have a look around as a lot of places I used to roleplay have died out.
 
Hello, my avid roleplayers! I am jake, a 26-year-old man from the midwest, though often known as pork by my friends. I'm an experienced dm and roleplayer since around 2011 and have found most of my lines of roleplay have died off since, be it from ghosting or people leaving for real-life matters. I started roleplaying to escape health problems while in the hospital and it has carried me since. I'm a huge fan of wuxia and xianxia and have deviated into roleplay based on the various genres for the last 3ish years, though I'm an avid enjoyed of all types. I mainly try to keep my RP partners 18+ due to personal reasons and to keep it easier in the long run. I'm open to all invitations so feel free to message me with any ideas or questions!

Please, I beg of you. Use a (full stop, period) '.' at the end of your sentence...
