If you need some ideas on what to include in your introduction to the community, you can mention:
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3

Hey! Call me Morgue. I've been roleplaying for the past 6 years, using a semi-lit and literate roleplaying style for the last 4. I normally write two paragraphs each response, if not more and expect at least a paragraph in response to work off of. I normally roleplay from fandoms, both canon characters and my own original characters. Some of my favorite genres are horror, fantasy and speculative fiction but I still enjoy most others.

Art, cosplay, writing and gaming are some of my outside interests. With art, I've been drawing traditionally for 9+ years and digitally for 3+. Drawing art for fandoms I was interested in was a gateway for starting to cosplay and I'm glad it was. Cosplay has become a giant hobby for me, even a coping skill. I've met some of my closest friend through cosplaying and going to conventions.

Back on note with roleplay, I decided to join RPNation after a friend suggested it to me earlier today. He said it'd be a good place to meet others and be able to get a steady roleplay going. To answer the last question, I have two pets (A ball python & pacman frog). I've had my ball python, Faust, for the last two years. She's a GHI mojave morph and adopted her when she was just a hatchling. She's around 2'3 and is a sweetheart.
My pacman frog is a near opposite to Faust. His name is "Fat f--king frog" and he enjoys biting my finger when i clean his terrarium and when I try to feed him. I do love him all the same, even if he's a pain in the butt.
 
Hello! I’m Illusory, Illu for short. I’ve been role-playing since my high school days and writing for even longer. I really enjoy the intricate art of storytelling. Weaving words is a lot of fun, wouldn’t you agree?

My interest in role-play writing really started when I was encouraged to write short stories for school. I was trying to research how to create a unique species when I landed on another RP website with really cool lore and characters through the magic of the internet. Thanks Google! I joined and attempted to figure out the mechanics. Unfortunately, that steampunk site has long since retired. But fortunately, my interest in role-playing is still with me. I don’t think I could ever outgrow this imaginary escapism.

I love all genres of writing and role-play, from the melodrama of modern life to the campiness of a rooting tooting wild west adventure. If I had to pick just one to role-play right now, it’d have to be a science-fiction or fantasy. I think re-imagining how humans and non-humans would live is boundless potential for plots that aren’t restricted to the rules of our current Earth. Although, I do still aim for a balance of realism to ground the story and characters.

Aside from role-play, my hobbies include drawing and dancing. I wouldn’t say that I’m great at either, but it‘s just so much fun to do whilst listening to music. It’s a nice break from the routine of work and school and I’d really recommend trying to anyone curious.

I’m also a proud caretaker of one silvery, shimmery arowana and his best bud, the forever elusive sting ray. Our sting ray likes to burry himself in the sand. They may not be the type of pets that one can cuddle with, but they are so mesmerizing to watch and easy to love nonetheless.

I feel like I probably rambled on too long for what’s supposed to be a brief introduction, but I can’t wait to meet the wonderful folks of this site. Thanks for reading! Happy writing to all! :)

Been here a while but the roleplay that I was a part of died off shortly after we moved it here, and I realized I never actually posted anywhere but there. I have since abandoned that group due to personal differences and have been looking for a new group, large or small, (but preferably more than just one or two people because I'm awful with one on one) to join and RP with. I typically prefer fantasy or modern settings, but for the most part I'm comfortable with almost anything. I've been on and off roleplaying for probably three years now, although most of the early days were physically painful and the epitome of cringe so I try to forget about them.
Outside of RP I'm an artist, albeit not a great one. I drew the character in my pfp and tend to sketch all of my rp characters rather than find faceclaims because it helps me feel more personally attatched to them hehe. Other than that I play a lot of video games, with some of my favorites being Fire Emblem (Blue Lions gang btw), Splatoon, and World of Warcraft. I play a fair bit of Smash (Ultimate and Melee) too but tend to avoid that one because as a whole I'm not a large fan of the community outside of local tournaments and friendlies.
I doubt I'll get too much attention here, but if anyone is looking for more for their group feel free to reach out to me. I need some new friends.

Your introduction feels like the other side of my coin (No idea how to put that metaphor XD). I'd like to get to know you, as far as the site will allow! (Hope that doesn't sound too weird)

Hello. You may call me Ares, Ark, or Sandman. I do not mind any of those three names. I've been roleplaying for at least a year now, but i's very off and on due to my huge procrastination issue. I typically roleplay mainly realism and wars. I prefer to play male characters, and I prefer if someone wants to do romance with me it to be MxM. I'm not quite experienced with MxF, and I'd rather not try as of yet. For those who might ask, since I play male, I do not do FxF. I joined here, because I recently left a site that I used to use and am searching for a new one. Who knows. I may like this one. I often am a lurker, though, yes. I find it quite awkward to talk to people when I don't exactly know them, but oh well, ahah.

Hello, My name is Katt. I am currently getting ready to dip my toes back into the RP world. I have been out of it since I went to Surgical Technology school. I work T-Fri 7:00 am to 5:30p m sometimes even longer depending on what surgery I'm stuck in. I wouldn't trade my job for anything. I love saving and changing lives. I currently have a boyfriend who is in the Navy, and he is deployed. So forgive me, I am bored to tears and I want to get back into RP'ing! I used to be a semi-professional dancer. I had to quit going to school for it when my knee's decided they wanted to put me through 4 surgeries. Which is how I came to love the inside of an Operating Room! Which also lead me to my job! One day I hope to become a P.A. Which is a doctors assistant. I am an easy going person and I look forward to starting some role plays with you!

I am looking for School related themes, High school or college. I am also looking for a family role play with some twists and turns like kidnappings, or splittings. I am open to anything except magic themes.
