Name: Oliver Abel
Age:
26
Gender: Male
Role: Pro Hero / School Teacher
Hero Name: The Sound Hero - Echo
Personality: Oliver is a very calm and listless individual. He doesn't usually care about what's happening around him unless it affects him. That being said, he won't hesitate to tune someone out if they're talking to him. He usually has a tired and annoyed expression on his face which makes him hard to approach. However, that's just his normal resting face. He talks in a soft and unenthusiastic voice that causes others to wonder if he really is a pro hero. Oliver rarely shows any expression in his face, even during combat with villains. He does this so it makes it harder for others to figure out what he's thinking.

Under his tired and listless nature, lies a caring and soft soul. Although he may not look like the type of person, he cares for his students and will help them in any way possible. He's too embarrassed to let people see him this way so he will usually grumble and act annoyed if asked for help but deep down, he's happy. He has high hopes for the next generation of heroes and will do his best to make sure his students prevail in the future.
Background: Oliver's dream to become a hero began at the age of 4 when he saw the number 1 hero save his town. His mother and him went out to get groceries for dinner only to be interrupted by a villain. It was a very dangerous villain that was kept in one of the worlds most secure cells but somehow, he managed to escape. Bringing terror to his town, Oliver thought was terrified until the number hero swooped in. He bravely fought the villain and was victorious at the end. Inspired and in awe, Oliver made it his dream to become a pro hero just like him. It was the first dream and goal that he ever had. Oliver was usually a quiet and tired kid but after being inspired, he...was well...still quiet and tired but had a goal in mind that would lead him to the present where he is now a Pro Hero, able to save lives just like his inspiration.
Quirk: Echolocation
Quirk explanation: When activating his quirk, Oliver is able to determine his surrounding areas to the upmost precision. He can locate where objects are, where people are hiding and even determine who that person is if he knows the person. His quirk has a wide range which allows him to pinpoint others and objects from up to 30 meters around him. Oliver can only use his quirk for a few seconds before having to wait 10 seconds before using it again. If he overuses his quirk, Oliver's ears will start to bleed and reduce the range to only a mere 10 meters around him. If still used, he will become deaf for a few days.
Relationship: TBD

Eloise 'Lovebite' Epidermisia
015a76dcbfcf97378142efa15e0e6c3c.jpg
Flesh and Blood

Age:
18

Gender:
Female

Role:
Student

Parents*:
Hal Epidermisia
Louise Epidermisia

Appearance:
Her actual form is a mass of what seems to be dark pink meat. However, seeing as this form makes people fairly uncomfortable, Eloise has chosen to adopt a more human form, choosing to match her appearance to a combination of her father's and mother's traits. Her 'human' form has short, brown 'hair', and green 'eyes'. She has a slightly tanned complexion. She frequently chooses to appear well-endowed- her reasons for doing so is handwaved by her as 'having more storage space that way'.

Personality:
Eloise's interests lie in what she calls 'The Stage'. She has a particularly warped view of the world, seeing it as nothing more than a stage of players, playing determined roles upon it, and she as an audience. She wants to see the end of the world, she wants to see the demise and destruction of the world as everyone knows it, but she also wants to see the light and hope envelop the world. A good ending, a bad ending, it doesn't matter to her. She just wants to see it. To that end, she may make some questionable choices in her life, probably just to see what will come of it. Despair? Hope? Or a mix of both? She has no strong morals, and is willing to do anything at all to achieve her own ideals.

As a person, herself, she is extremely tough to pin down. She may be sickeningly sweet, and supportive in one moment, but can turn on a dime in the next to lash out at someone. It seems to be that both of these are what she genuinely feels. She speaks her mind, acts as she wants, and does what she wants. Why be happy, cheerful, and excitable all the time? Why be hot headed and impulsive 24/7? There are so many things to be, and yet everyone chooses to be one thing. It was strange, but understandable. Anyway, it made it easier for her to observe and learn the habits, the personalities, and the behaviours of others. Many were loathe to be rid of their own selves, and the things that they believe made them unique.

History:
A true monster in this day and age, there was no point in sending her to a public school when she was younger- she'd only scare the other kids. A freak of nature amongst freaks of nature, that was what Eloise was. It was she could do to try and keep up, to try and make her parents happy. They wanted a baby girl, not a blob. By 8, Eloise figured out how genetics worked, or at least the basics of it, and molded herself into a young girl of her age. Her parents were overjoyed, and that made her happy. Their despair for so long had been overwhelming, and their hope and their joy after 8 years was infectious. She wanted to see that again. She wanted to feel that feeling once more.

Hero stuff was the answer, naturally. Just to see hope, just to see despair, she wanted to be amongst heroes. Don't get her wrong, she had no interest whatsoever in being a hero, she just wanted to observe what both heroes and villains could do, what amazing script they would follow to bring their own unique flavours to this world. It was just what the world owed a monster like her.

Quirk:
Flesh and Blood

Quirk explanation:
A Mutant Quirk. Eloise is, in reality, a shapeless mass of flesh that has taken the form of a human being. Its greatest strength, perhaps, is that Eloise is functionally indestructible, without having any essential organs that need protection. Furthermore, this Quirk has secondary powers that come with it. It allows her to create masses of flesh from her body that she can control completely, from changing their shape, coloration, and composition, essentially becoming a Swiss knife of Quirks. She can, for instance, leave or throw traps that essentially fuse into a target's skin or clothing, sticking them to a surface or crippling them in some way. However, this can also be used for support, as she can create flesh that can fuse into an open wound and integrate itself into the body to heal injuries. Furthermore, Eloise's power essentially allows her to be a flesh vampire. At close ranges, if she grabs hold of a person's exposed skin, she can integrate her hand into their flesh and absorb their flesh into herself, which she can then repurpose into her own use.

She has a limited grace amount of 'extra' flesh she can create without using resources, but will eventually use her own body to do so. Consumption of edible and organic things through absorption creates more flesh, allowing her to 'restock' her supply through eating.

She and her flesh are flame-retardant. However, they are particularly susceptible to low temperatures, turning inflexible and brittle in extremely low temperatures.

Her flesh may be extremely effective healing for open wounds, but it cannot mend broken bones, for obvious reasons, and is excruciatingly painful during the integration process. It also loses its flame retardant features after it has fully integrated with a patient's body.

It isn't an offensive Quirk by any means, and lacks any direct way of causing damage. Instead, it relies heavily on its support and somewhat defensive capabilities to get things done.

Eloise has the ability to disguise herself as anyone at all. Not only that, she can also change a person's appearance and build to disguise them as someone else as well. However, she cannot disguise a person with a large build as someone with a smaller frame, for obvious reasons.

Relationship:
???
(Hit me up if you want a pre-established relationship)

Other:
Due to how her Quirk works, her body proportions may change, depending on how much she has stored up.

She doesn't have a hero costume designed. She doesn't seem to be interested in owning one either. As mentioned, she doesn't really care for advertising.

Name: Kireina Bijin "Mercy"
Age: ??
Gender: Female
Role: School Staff/Teacher (Nurse)

Appearance:
A towering blonde with an extremely youthful appearance that conceals her true age, attempting to maintain a demeanor of more modern times she remains bubbly with a bounce to her step along with the stance displaying confidence her experience brings.

Personality: A energetic woman with a friendly bedside manner, approaching as much as she can with a casual approach though reluctantly bringing out her professional side when required. She has a strong love of children and a doting approach to there well being even to the point of candies and presents, rarely taking no for answer. Very few individuals have actually ever seen Kireina angry though there are tales of a closed eye smile that has brought many an unruly individual to heel.

History:
Much is unknown about Kireina's past including even her age, being the longest-serving member of the faculty much to the confusion of others and seemingly barely looking a day older than when she was first encountered, though she has had a long career within the medical fields in particular quirk development from a pediatrist perspective as well as surgery. Taking such skills to the field as the Heavens Canceller, Mercy pioneering multiple new life-saving practices as a support based hero. She has continued to develop her medical knowledge over the years, being part of numerous private clinical trials and research projects before eventually coming to the school itself, though her involvement with such practices did not cease. She continues to work as a teacher and nurse at the academy and has been doing so for some time has been a staple for as long as anyone can recall. She is currently working as a teacher and nurse at the academy and has been doing so for some time has been a staple for as long as anyone can recall.

Quirk: Time Exchange
Quirk explanation: Allows for touch-based temporal manipulation through an exchange method, reverting items to either a younger state or older by either taking or receiving from the target. Despite the multiple applications of this quirk, it appears the preferred one to use has been healing through an unconventional method. Depending on the severity of the injury and recovery time the user may age the area allowing for an injury that would naturally months to recover from occurring over the span of a few moments while the user's age reverts an equivalent degree, the area is then made younger following this to prevent the development of the long term issues, there may however still be surgery required for certain injuries though healing may be monitored over a relatively short amount of time. The user is unable however to heal injuries that do not have a cure with modern medicine or are natural developments, they may however extend the amount of time available until such sets in or improve the odds of recovery by providing a younger state with a greater chance of success. These effects may be isolated to certain areas or the entire body.

Relationship: TBD

Other:
-Kireina is the sole reason behind the mandatory Christmas sweaters for faculty during holiday periods, regardless of if one is owned, it will be provided.
-The reason behind her height relates back to her early years learning her quick, as well as experimentation with selective aging and reversion resulting in the affects of her adolescent development being prolonged.

Lisa looks like a mature woman that has aged gracefully. She wears her hair down and keeps it shoulder length. As Water Lilly, Lisa wore a blue and white kung fu dress.
Name: Lisa Katsura
Hero Name: Kung Fu Hero: Water Lilly
Age: 38
Gender: Female
Role: School Staff: Gym Teacher

Appearance:
Lisa has aged gracefully over the years, but she does look a bit different from her hero days. She's a Japanese woman with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She has a medium bust and maternal build. She's still physically fit and has a light muscle tone. She is 5'10"

She tends to wear more civilian looking clothes and sometimes more tradition Japanese wear like a Kimono. When teaching she tends to wear appropriate looking gym clothes or her karate gi. Sometimes she might wear her new hero costume, a longer silk dress that resembled her old costume, leggings, kung fu shoes, and black arm bands.

Personality:
Lisa is a calm and maternal woman. She cares a lot for her daughter and also shows her caring side toward Lynn's friends/the other students. As a teacher she can be pretty stoic, but as long as there's no emergency she's pretty relaxed. If she has to fight, she becomes stoic and focused; however, she hasn't been in a hero vs. villain fight in a long time and, in the back of her mind, wonders if she still has it in her anymore.

Living as a civilian has given her a new perspective on life. The quirk-less humans struggle through their lives and fight just as hard as a hero fighting a villain. While heroes can be beacons of hope, she doesn't see heroes as a superior race or profession. As a teacher, her goal is to teach her students that the quirk-less are just as important as the quirked and that you don't have to rely on using your quirk to do good things.

History:
Lisa was born and raised in Tokyo, but when it came to hero academies she decided to transfer to America. That's were she met Andrew Parker. The two became fast friends and started to work together a lot. After graduating, Lisa stayed in America with Andrew. Andrew became the Rubber-Bullet Shooting Hero: SWAT and Lisa became the Kung Fu Hero: Water Lilly. Things soon became romatic between the two of them and they got married.

Lisa was 21 when their daughter Lynn was born. By this point Lisa was a regular citizen, but she made sure her hero license wasn't revoked so that she could still help out if she found herself in situations. Thankfully she didn't find herself in chaotic situations that needed a hero, but her husband did a lot. There were times when SWAT would come home beaten and bruised, giving Lisa the responsibility of nursing him back to health. Sometimes there were gaps between when SWAT returned home, giving Lisa nights full of worry. After 5 years of SWAT barely being around for his family, Lisa decided enough was enough and moved back to Japan with her daughter in tow.

Lisa legally changed her name back to her maiden name and made sure that Lynn's last name was also changed to it. They've been living together in Tokyo ever since. Lisa continued to live a civilian life and found a job teaching children karate. She's been happy as a civilian, but she also wants to help guide her daughter through the hero business. She recently inquired about any available gym positions at Sakura High, but kept it a secret from Lynn so she could surprise her. She also requested to not be apart of the entrance exam because she knew her daughter would try to watch it.

Quirk: Hydro-Flow

Quirk explanation:
Lisa's body holds more water than the average person. She can control the water from her body, turning it into a flow of water she can manipulate when it's outside of her body. Her power is more procession based than her daughters. Lisa can make the flow of water dance around her, giving her kung fu/karate fighting style some cutting power. When she's done with an attack she can make the water she used go back inside of her (this can be interrupted by attacks.) She can also control nearby water sources without having to touch them with her own flow (this takes focus) and absorb water into her body.

She can't make full use of her quirk in desert environments and is better suited fighting near the ocean or another source of water. Her body can also absorb the water from other water based quirks, but this doesn't make Lynn immune to other water quirks. She doesn't have gills.

Relationship:
- She has a stable and loving relationship with her daughter Lynn.
- She's a new hire and is just starting to form relationships with the other faculty, but generally respects them as other heroes.

Other:
- Her old superhero costume is now a tight fight, so it's more of a trophy now.
- She's not officially out of retirement, so when she does wear her new costume, it's to inspire her students.

I guess this is where new CS applications go now. Might be too late for this, but maybe this character could be more of a part-time teacher? Natural Flavour Natural Flavour

Accepted! Are you wanting Eloise to be a first year, despite her age (since she didn't go to school at all as a child XD). We have all first years except for 2 second years and 0 third year students.
I actually hadn't considered that! That's fine by me.

Name: Lana Del' Rize
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Role: Orphan
e54d59fc243fb6c964074c48f26e304d.jpg
Parents: Lana is the illegitimate daughter of the Mimicry Hero Mr. Mirror. As no details were known about her origins until a blood test confirmed her relation to him, Mr. Mirror was wholly unaware of her existence. He supposedly perished along with his nemesis, Professor Nitro, during their final battle along the coast of Osaka. A flighty individual who partied as hard as he fought, it's believed that Lana was the result of one of his numerous one-night stands. As her mother's identity is still entirely unknown, Lana's wound up levying the blame for her cursed existence upon her late father.

Personality: If there was a single phrase one could use to describe Lana's personality, it would be 'Silent Hostility'. Embittered by the harsh youth she had mostly due to the challenges her mutation Quirk gave her, Lana was always one for foul mods. The fact that her Quirk gave her a blatantly horrific appearance on top of that only intensified what was already a fairly disastrous self-image. Lana has come to expect the worst of people by default, including herself. She dislikes interacting with others to such an extent, that she makes a point to avoid speaking as much as possible in order to keep from garnering any more attention than her quirk already does. When she does speak, its often curt, blunt, and to the point. That being said, she does have a tendency to pity those who she feels have it worst than her. As such, she's likely to go against her own words and help others despite her blatant pessimism.

History: From day one, Lana's had a very clear understanding of where she stood in the world. It was said she couldn't have been more than a month old when she was abandoned by mother dearest. One look from the orphanage staff who found her had them believing that she'd been experimented on by some cruel villain. A quick run to the nearest hospital and several tests later proved that to be incorrect. What some viewed as a terrible affliction was no more than her Quirk. A quirk which would go on to dominate the rest of Lana's life.

It was harder in her youth, as the Quirk left her body seemingly deformed in a number of ways. It took her longer to learn how to walk on her odd, insectoid limbs. Eating without spilling her food out the sides of her jaws was practically impossible She had to rely on straws and blended drinks to avoid spilling it all over herself until her cheeks grew to the point where she could chew properly. Speaking with all her extra teeth and fangs was a struggle up until he was seven, temporarily giving her a stutter which the rest of her peers picked up on immediately. Eventually her legs formed enough to where she could finally learn to walk, beforehand she'd taken to scuttling about on her misshapen limbs like a child-sized spider.

Staff would eventually inform her who her father was, and suddenly Lana had someone to blame for her disgusting excuse for a life. It had to have been because of his Quirk, she figured mirroring all those other Quirks during his career had passed to her in the form of her sickly amalgam of physical characteristics. Too bad for her that he was already dead, so she couldn't even vent to him about all the hardships he'd left her. It wasn't just that her Quirk was hard to deal with, it was that it was absolutely horrifying to most unsuspecting outsiders. Over the years, the children of the orphanage had the chance to grow accustomed to her horrifying visage, but it soon became clear that those beyond the walls of the orphanage would be blind-sided by the chitin, tentacles and numerous eyes.

Lana grew spiteful, despite managing to grow accustomed to her own body she never fully got over how it facilitated most of her interactions. Soon it became easier to just outright refuse interaction instead of risking it going badly. Even after growing used to speaking, her voice became something of a rarity, only coming out in rare instances. To facilitate this, Lana relied on curt replies, keeping even the most necessary of talks as quick as possible. The one exception to this being a sickly orphan by the name of Maize. Maize was one of the only individuals Lana felt she could pity more than herself. Whereas she'd been able to learn to function despite the setbacks given by her quirk, Maize was cursed with a weak immune system that led to her constantly being bed-ridden.

As the sickly child wasn't capable of speaking much due to the frailty brought on by numerous causes, Lana would often plant herself near her for respite of some sort. They were something of a package deal for a few years until yet another horrid disease left Maize stuck in a hospitable for the foreseeable future. Lana visited often, enjoying the solitary atmosphere the hospital provided. But it was there that Maize would put forward a most dire request: She'd be happy if Lana were to become a hero.

Though denying such possibilities, Lana found that Maize seemed convinced of her good nature despite her protests. Finding her companion stalwart in her conviction, Lana eventually relented on the matter. Though unconvinced that Hero work would be suitable for someone as openly spiteful as her, Lana would be remiss to deny her friend such a request. And so she trained, doing what she could to make her Quirk useful in what she considered Hero scenarios. Embarrassed by how awkward she felt playing at Hero, Lana would only train away from prying eyes. Though awkward at first, Lana eventually felt confident enough to try getting into Sakura High.
Quirk: Amalgam
1en7uR95Xo5qb0lCBFFy.jpg
Quirk Explanation: Lana's body is an odd assortment of physical mutations. First off she's got six limbs instead of four, and those limbs vary in function and form. Most are chitinous in nature and capable of sustaining immense damage due to their exoskeleton, they also allow her to cling and climb along most flat surfaces. Their strength is also nothing to sneeze at, as Lana's perfectly capable of lifting ten times her body weight. Two of her limbs grow from just above her hips and aid her in movement. Her longest limb without a doubt is the tentacle growing from her right shoulder, it's able to stretch up to seven yards away from her and is almost as strong as her chitin arms. Unlike her other limbs, this tentacle can regenerate damage much faster than the rest of her body, able to regrow from even a stump. Her extra teeth and the sheer force of her jaws allow her to bite through things like doors and thin metal walls, and the cluster of eyes on the right side of her face is capable of seeing in the pitch black.

While these mutations provide her a wide array of maneuverability and attacks, they're also greatly hampered in a number of ways. First off, even with the usage of four limbs Lana's not built for running. Her limbs tend to tangle and trip her up, so her go-to option when needing to get somewhere fast is jumping. She's capable of leaping forward a good ten yards each, using her limbs to propel and catch herself. This fundamental difference also means she struggles to stand up on slippery surfaces. Wet floors will often force her to scuttle about on all of her limbs to keep from falling over, and she's downright unable to move on things like ice floors. While her tentacle can regenerate, its also the most susceptible part of her body when it comes to damage. Despite its strength, its extremely easy to cut or tear. Plus regenerating the limb won't negate the blood loss that losing it can incur, leaving Lana extremely light headed every time.

Her cluster of eyes present a whole other problem, as she can't really close them. Unlike her human eye, the cluster doesn't have eyelids and merely remains open. While they don't dry out or suffer the same penalties such a defect would lead regular eyes to, this leaves Lana eternally susceptible to sudden bright lights. Though she can try to cover as much of them as possible, sudden bright flashes of light will often leave Lana stumbling, this is mostly the fault of her enhanced nigh vision. Lana is also not entirely mutated, the regular human portions on her torso and face are susceptible to all the same threats the every day Joe has to worry about. Though she can try covering up, her appearance is extremely hard to hide with conventional clothing, making her stand out amongst a crowd.

Relationship:
Maize- Another Orphan who's weak Immune system has left her in and out of hospitals her entire life. Lana's pity for her led to Maize becoming one of the few people Lana actually considers friends. She's the primary reason Lana's been trying to become a hero.

Other: She took up sewing in her youth to help work on her motor control, it would continue to be one of her few hobbies.

He's got a gross quirk and a hard to deal with personality, but I hope that's okay.

Name: Miles Lowayne, the edgy kid.
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Role: Orphan
Parents*: Miles isn’t an orphan in the traditional sense of dead parents, but rather he was confiscated when his Dad, Carlo Lowayne was arrested. His dad occasionally sends him letters from prison. Miles has never read bothered to read them, not because he has any resentment to his father, but because he doesn’t really see the point of getting to know a Dad he will probably never meet. When Miles was found there was a lot of speculation as to who his mother was, with many suspecting it was the Pro Hero Wrecks. However, eventually a genetic test proved this wasn't the case, and his mother's identity remains a mystery.

Appearance: Miles.png
Miles despite his age is 6’4. He used this height to fake his age and get ear piercings and tattoos despite being underaged.

Personality: Miles is a weirdo and revels in it. He’s not terribly bright and always follows his own pace and does weird things like eating insects. He refuses to listen to others at all, with Orphanage workers saying that trying to talk to him is like talking to a brick wall. This attitude has made him rather unpopular, so he wasn’t friends with any of the other orphans growing up. Miles has become a troublemaker and a bully because he enjoys the attention as it’s better than nothing.

History: Miles was born to a pair of small-time drug dealers. When his Dad was caught, police found the baby which was taken to the orphanage. Miles was and is a difficult kid, with even experienced staff not knowing how to handle him, let alone the other kids. Miles like any kid wanted attention, and his inability to socialize normally with others caused him to become a bully for attention. Despite all this, for some reason, Miles signed up to hero school. No one could fathom why. The truth of it? A lot of the other orphans were doing it and he didn’t want to think about what his life would be like without them. In a weird way, he cares about them, because even if the relationship is only one way he sees them as the closest thing he has to friends or family.

Quirk: Zombie
Quirk explanation: Zombie is a mutation type quirk that is actually a weaker version of his dad’s liquefication quirk.

Miles can’t liquidate himself on command like his father, and instead, his body automatically liquidates in response to damage. Miles won’t die no matter how much of his body is splattered as long as his brain is intact, but if he is splattered around too much, he’ll have trouble getting back together. If you were to cut off his arm, the wound would melt, and he’d be able to control his arm at a distance and reattach it. (However the further his arm gets from his body, the less control he’d have over it).
Weaknesses
  • Miles body is more fragile than a normal human
  • The further away Mile’s body parts get away the less control he has over them.
  • He can’t liquidate his brain or it’s skull casing. (But can remove his jaw and spine)
  • Miles is very weak to non-physical attacks, such as fire, ice or acid, since his body is fragile, and his immunity doesn’t apply.
  • Despite being effectively immune to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing, bullets still damage Miles due to their incredible heat.
Strengths
  • Basically, immune to most physical damage
  • Wireless body parts like eyes, ears or hands.
  • Somehow if he removes his mouth, he can talk through it despite being disconnected from his respiratory system.
  • Theorized to come from his mother’s side, his body seems to be stronger than average despite its fragility.

Relationships:

His counselor tried hard to be a friend and a positive figure to Miles but was tested to the limits of their patience and was eventually forced to leave Miles to his own devices.

The other orphans live in dread of Miles because they never know when they might be surprised by a severed arm or when he might steal a treasured item.

I love it! The only thing is that for him to be an orphan from Tokyo Home for Children of the Fallen, atleast one of his parents has to have been a hero, ex hero, or rumoured to be the offspring of a hero. The orphanage seems to be pretty generous, letting kids in on just a rumour, it doesn't bother them too much.

Other than that, accepted!!
