Welcome to the Royal Francis Institute For Gifted Boys and Girls!

The Royal Francis Institute for Gifted Boys, or F.I.G, is one of the most pretentious prestigious boarding schools in Britain. Anyone who's anyone walks through these esteemed hallways, readying themselves only for the best life can offer. Celebrities send their boys to the school to avoid the public eyes, and scholars make sure their sons are at the top of the class. Boys go in, and men come out.

That was, until the class numbers started slipping. Less people were sending their boys to the school, and those already attending were pulled when the prices began to rise. Desperate to keep their wonderful institute of education open, the board of directors made a very, very important decision to increase their student body size.

They opened their doors to girls.

Of course, no one dared to send their daughters to a previously all-male school. No matter how intelligent those boys were, they were still boys! Their precious daughters could never survive the environment, and it'd just be too distracting for the young men. Despite the worries many parents voiced, there were four takers. Four young women of different backgrounds decided to take a chance, and are about to begin their fall semester at F.I.G.

And they aren't going to take crap from anyone. Teaming up together, the girls begin their vicious prank war against the top four boys of the school after a nasty first encounter. The boys retaliate, and soon it's an all out war between the two gangs.

Can they survive midterms without being caught for their elaborate pranks?

a set of rules to ensure that the roleplay thrives:
  • first up: Please follow all RPN rules! Pretty easy to follow, as you should be doing so already!
  • face claims: For this RP, I'm looking for realistic face-claims. Please find yourself one to use! (If you need help, I will try my best to assist you!)
  • the characters: Your character will likely be around 16-18. Please don't go any younger, or any higher than that. I will be accepting four boys, and four girls.
  • the writing: This is a literate RP. I don't expect perfection, and grammatical mistakes will happen. (And if one does happen, don't insult the player who made it.) However, you must have a firm grasp on the English language, and be able to properly form and structure sentences.
  • the length: A minimum of three paragraphs or so, which are about 3-5 sentences each. Again, this will be a literate RP and I want people to bring their best.
  • the activity: There will be no posting order, unless a certain event occurs in which one is desired. However, I want at least one post a week. I've been more lenient in the past about this with other RPs I've run, but I'm seriously looking for active people. However, if you give me the smallest heads-up about being unable to post, I'll let ya go as long as you need. Just don't vanish, or your character will too.
  • the spots: I'm looking for around eight players, and you will be applying for certain roles. Normally I'm fairly lenient on gender, but for this RP, I'll be needing four girls and four boys. No, this isn't strictly for romance purposes. This is just so the groups have an even amount of pranksters in them. Smooch who ya want in the free time.
  • the drama: There will be drama in the RP. There will not be drama OOC, period. I know nearly everyone on this site is amazing and this most likely won't be an issue, but it's just a forewarning. If you are a bad little boy, I will kick ya out.
  • last up: Only apply if you are CERTAIN you will be active. I don't want someone upset because they didn't get the role, only to later see the person who got it isn't even active. (If that happens, I'll probably replace them with said person who is upset.)
  • additionally: girls rule boys drool.

about the institute
If you're attending the academy, you were likely the top of your class at your previous school. You have the best grades, you're the captain of your sports team, and you're definitely rich as hell. Famous parents? Probably in some field, whether it be acting or the sciences. You got big shoes to fill, so don't fuck it up lad.

the school
F.I.G is a classic boarding school. Huge and beautiful, the student body stays on campus throughout the entire year. Trips to the local town are strictly forbidden, and students will be punished if caught sneaking out. Rooms hold four students in total, each with their own separate sleeping area. Active students can exchange in sports such as croquet or polo, or take a dip in the Olympic sized pool. Students get Saturdays and Sundays off, and can dress down if they so desire.

the roles

girls

the leader [taken] - Offended the most by the 'rude' welcoming she and the girls received, this lass has taken it into her own hands to rally her fellow girls together to get them back. A bit brash and rude, she's willing to take risks if it means getting those boys back.

the planner [open] - Pranks take a good outline and a plan, and this girl has it covered. Before coming to the school, she took it upon herself to memorize routes through the schools, and the schedules of instructors to ask any questions if she got lost. Now she's ready to put her knowledge to an even better use.

the peacemaker [open] - Can't we all just get along? Sure, she was offended by the boys at first, but she doesn't want any trouble. She doesn't even really want to go here! Dragged along by the other girls, maybe she'll come out her shell a bit.

the home-schooled [open] - Is this how school is like normally? Raised in a pretty sheltered life, this young lass managed to pass through the entrance exams with flying colors. How she managed to convince her parents to let her attend the school to beyond anyone, but she's ready to become a real student. Even if that means pranking others.

boys

the prince [open] - Suave and charming, this young lad loves his school. Who wouldn't enjoy all the luxuries offered to them, especially since there are no girls around to mess with his mind? Relationships are too taxing, it's not his fault they get attached! The Prince acts as the de-facto leader of the boys.

the studious [open] - Being number one in your class is hard. Being number one at F.I.G is just impossible. Well, impossible for anyone but the studious. He doesn't have time for girls to come in and distract him, especially with his grades slipping. He went to an all-boys school for a reason!

the rebel [open] - How is he even still attending classes here? This dude constantly skips lectures, and often finds himself sneaking out to the local pubs. He doesn't hate the new girls; In fact, he thinks they're awesome. He just thinks pranks are even more awesome.

the famous [open] - Teenage heartthrob. Two words describe the famous, a young man in the prime of his career as an actor. Fan-girls are everywhere, but F.I.G. It's not like he actually needs school, but it's good to get away sometimes.

Definitely interested. I could go for the studious or the famous!

Just quick question; will it be an apply for rp or first come first serve? Because I do not see it in the rules, yet you talk about accepted characters and applying, but it is not clarified (or I have read completely over it, which happens)

There'll be an application! Normally I don't really get enough for an actual competition, but I do want people to go for specific roles.

Okay! I can also fill up whatever spots doesn't get picked (though I'd prefer the studious and then the famous) but I could alsways double up, though I doubt there is a lack of interest

Im probs going to go for the peacemaker or home-schooled😉
