Hello everyone, Sirental here just joined cause I was bored at work and one my long time roleplay partners suggested I come here to try to fine more roleplay partners.

I don't really have a preference to post lengths as long as the story can continue to flow I'll do my best to respond with whatever I am given. (And trust me some places on the internet it seems like all everyone posts is one line.)

My preferred genre is fantasy mainly cause I find the idea of not real life being more enjoyable plus elves and catgirls, that's all. (Maybe also magic but the other two are better)

Anyways I can't think of much else to post, been role-playing for roughly 7ish years now and I live on the east coast of the USA just for timezones sake.
 
Hello. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past five or six years through various different roleplaying sites. I'm here because a friend told me about it.
 
Kind of an old member here. But...
I'm Avery/Hijirikawa!

I've been roleplaying since I joined the site, so. About 4-5 years ago? I don't know. I can't math, LOL.

I'm here again because I randomly thought of RPN, and was like.
Dang. I really miss that site.

So I scoured to find my login information and now... here I am!

I'm pretty bad at explaining myself so I'll use the guide as some help!

I've been roleplaying since I was 10 years old, and I'm 21 now! Crazy how time flies.

I've loved reading and writing ever since I could hold a book, so I automatically took to roleplaying when one of my friends showed me a roleplaying site 11 years ago. I love pretty much all genres, but I usually stick to animals because I love them so much. Other wise I love action and drama roleplays of either human or animal.

My hobbies outside of RPing are pretty much just reading, gaming, drawing, getting involved with the car community and making friends. Oh, I also love anime. Don't even get me started on that subject! I'm a huge horse racing enthusiast, and if I get the chance, I wont shut up about it! I also am trying my hardest to write my own book, it's very action and drama driven and I hope to finish it within this or next year.

I decided to join RpNation because the roleplaying site I came over from was too child-oriented for my liking and has pretty much gone dead since 2008. I'm a young adult now, and I don't want to have to constantly watch what I write in fear of "traumatizing" a child who decided to join an action/drama involved roleplay. I understand sexual scenes are prohibited (lets be honest, they're awkward to write anyway) and same goes for overly excessive violence (shucks lol) but I'm sure I can be a lot more free about it here than I ever could be over there.

And as for pets? Sheesh I have too many to count. I've had a bunch of cats ever since I was young, and still do today. I have 4 cats, 2 dogs (1 German Shepherd, 1 GSD / Husky mix) and as of right now only 1 horse (an Arabian) and soon I'll be getting another. we did have 2 horses, but my mare had to be put down in March. The new horse I'll be getting though, is her daughter! So I'm super excited for that.

Anyway uhh, that's all for me. I've never been one to introduce myself, but if you want to role play or chat, don't be afraid to PM me! I can be awkward at times, but never when we share interests!

  • Why you decided to join RpNation: Because my other roleplay site isn't fulfilling anymore.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one): I have three cats; a stuck up black cat, a chunky striped cat, and a wanna-be dog cat.

I'll just post my hello with the guide questions on the OP!

    • I've been roleplaying sporadically since 6th grade, and I'm in my late twenties now. So there's been some experience? Right now though, I'm taking my time to dive back into things. I don't know why, but I've been reinvigorated to write, and I want to nourish that before it goes away. Again.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    • I started off with Ragnarok Online way back in the day. That said, I guess fantasy would be a good place for me to start finding ground again since it's where I started. That doesn't mean I'm not open to trying out new things, though! I'm fine with modern stuff, as well, though I'd probably be lost in sci-fi and steampunk worlds. Mm.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • I play videogames a lot. I was gonna type gamer, but that's seems so puerile for some reason. Ah, well. My latest obsession is Final Fantasy 14, but I've been trying to curb my playtime because it's not healthy... er, right.
    • I'm also an avid fanfiction fan. Mostly Harry Potter, but at this point I think I've read more fanfic than I have any other literary medium combined. Go figure.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • Google! That, and I've had a look around and I'm interested to see if I can find people to roleplay with, or just shoot the breeze with a good RP community. :)
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
    • Alas, only in my dreams. People in the house are allergic to fur. :(

That moment when you read the forums and still don’t know what to put in an introduction. Xl Anyhow, I’m interested in getting back into role playing after a rough spot in life. It makes me happy and I’d love to try and find fellow role players who are comfortable in one on one role plays. :)

Hello. I've been looking around the internet for a good place to roleplay with people in my custom world of "Pinewood Academy Of Interspecies Learning and Cooperation". It's a school roleplay on the surface but goes much deeper if you know where to look. So anyway I dont really know how to do that here or on any site really... Anyone have any help or ideas to give?

I assume you would like to start a group roleplay of your own? Should head into Recruitment section and make a thread wherever appropriate for your rp to be in. Group, Dice (if you need to use dice for any actions) or Off-site (if you're planning to use Discord or other platforms).
