Other Anyone like conspiracy theories?

I'm a bloody detective when it comes to conspiracy theories. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands, of hours listening to podcasts, reading articles, watching documentaries, etc. on conspiracy theories. I don't actually have any favourites as I think the majority of them are just as interesting as the next.
Do you like conspiracy theories and/or do you have a favourite?

No, no. I'd love to hear your explanation. I also love true crime, but I usually only delve into YouTube videos as I don't watch a lot of television.

Well I watch some decent YouTubers but they rarely upload anything I was following “the black dahlia “ case and a very talented YouTuber made this really gripping video ( like a mini doc ) I can link you if you want..

Recently that case has been solved tho but even that was interesting and YouTube being YouTube I do t know how I got there but I was watching dr Phil talking to a family member who was related to the killer...While it killed my theory it was pretty cool how the family member is now using recently found evidence to prove it..

Well, I did watch a video on that case around the start of this year/end of last year, but I didn't know it was solved; the video was quite a few years old, so I don't know if it was solved back then. But anyway, I'm love for you to link it to me, I find this kind of stuff fascinating.

I think everyone falls into the Dr. Phil hole every once in a while, I know I have, many times.

I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, but I do like a lot of theory channels like Game Theory and Film Theory, as well as theories speculating about fandoms I'm a part of like anime theories or magic the gathering theories.

That probably doesn't count though...

Are you familiar with the Dyatlov Pass Incident? I actually stumbled on a random-ass online journal that had an essay solving the whole thing.

When it comes to conspiracy theories, they can be a good amount of fun. Though some can be outright nonsensical. The old conspiracy theory and urban legend of the Polybius arcade machine is one of them.

D'you have the link? I'm really interested in the whole Dyatlov Pass thing, so I'm kinda intruiged :0

I straight up love conspiracy theories and will just watch hours and hours on certain topics. Though I kinda like the ones that center around certain events instead of people, like the Woolsey wildfire and how there was a possibility that the Santa Susana field lab could have started it.

This was years ago so I don't really remember where I found it. I kinda remember how the whole thing was laid out though.

Basically in a journal that the climbers had been keeping, there is mention of an experimental wooden-stove type contraption that the leader had made and was testing on the trip. It's highly likely that the reason the tent was slashed open from the inside is because there was a malfunction with this stove that either caused something to catch fire and/or filled the tent up with smoke while they were sleeping. This is also why many of them were in somewhat bizarre states of dress, due to having woken up and exited the tent in a hurry. After they left the tent, they did the logical thing and went to the forest to shelter themselves from the blizzard.

The mysterious injuries are probably due to some sort of tree-climbing incident. They may have been climbing trees to get wood for a shelter or trying to identify their surroundings, but somehow there was an accident that caused one of them (likely the woman with the most grievous injuries) to fall out of a tree and hit several others on the way down. This explains the head/neck injuries that many of them had, and the broken ribs were likely from hitting large tree branches while falling.

The climbers then split up into 3 groups. The first group consisted of the most injured and one person who dug a shelter for them in the snow. The second group attempted to hike back to the tent for medical supplies, while the third tended a fire in order to guide the second group back. The second group also took some extra clothes from the first and third group to aid them in their trek which helps to explain why they were wearing each others clothes.

The second group never made it back, with various members succumbing to the cold at various points between the forest and the tent. The third group used the fire to attempt to ward off frostbite, explaining the burns on their hands. The first group died from a mixture of hypothermia and the more serious injuries sustained by several of their members.

Not as exciting as Yetis or KGB ninjas but it does make a lot more sense.

The aliens at mama dulce are finishing Stalin's monkey man supersoldier project so they can use them to build a next generation project aurora spaceplane to recover the black knight satellite. They'll then integrate the disparate technologiea of the black knofhr satellite aliens (reptoids) and the roswell saucer to fake the moon landing in the past using a stargate they found when they killed the giant of kalhar, iraq. All this just to make sure a garden gnome wins the next election!

I think I prefer the ones centred around events as well. I'm more likely to know more about current events as I am people. And researching things that happened is a lot more fun then researching people, in my opinion anyway.

I heard that NASA got Stanley Kubrick to help fake the moon landing, but he was such a perfectionist he just couldn't get it right in a studio, so he decided to just shoot on the moon instead.

Flat earth. End times. GMO- which isn't a 'conspiracy theory'. Chemtrails. 9-11 Twin towers. Hollyweird. All of it actually. I am always, always down for conspiracy talk.

I love conspiracy theories. They are absolutely hilarious. My latest favourite which has been holding at its #1 place for five years now, is the flat earth one, of NASA hiding the truth... trans celebrities spoiling children... politician clones... an that's all I can remember atm.

As in, you believe the earth is flat? Or you fight against it?
