The bar is open and it's happy hour! Welcome to Chapter Six: All Hands on Deck, friends! =)

What do you think of those final two posts in Chapter Five? =)

A bit unexpected, but exciting! I am looking forward to seeing what the response is to Mario's question to Prof. Stein. Perhaps he can live the dream I've had for a long time to be able to pop a cap in the ass of Gen. Steele.

Quick question. Where can I go to roll my hit points for level 6? I don't see the 'roll dice' option here or in Mario's Character Thread. Not that it makes a huge difference in the MDC heavy world we are in, but every little bit counts.

Aww, I was hoping to be the first to post in the new threads! lol

I have a feeling that Mario is right: We may be about to perform a jail break!

With my Self Knowledge in Jeet Kune Do, is the next step up from Automatic Wrist Hold Automatic Wrist Lock?

I also need to roll 1d6 for HP and 2d6 for SDC. If you would be so kind as to roll them for me?

That ass has gotten so big, Mario could only miss it on a natural roll of 1 (gun jammed). =)

Psychie has the right of it, here - I'm still rolling your dice because Hosted Projects lack a Dice Roller (not that I mind). =)

Sherwood Sherwood Last I checked, orange was the color dice you wanted. That still the case?

Psychie Psychie
1. Yes. The next stage up is Automatic Wrist Lock (keep in mind one uses their P.P. plus any hold/lock bonuses, not Strike). This is because Toph has already learned Wrist Lock (otherwise, it would be the next step).
2. Please add 5 hit points and 10 S.D.C. to Toph (I see the white dice are being nice to you today!). =)

In other news, Cera went from 2nd level to 4th (by way of gaining 12 RP points for her level difference; it was just enough to give her what she needed for 4th level). =)
Does this mean we get to pick MOAR skills for her? Seeing as she leveled while still "on the table" and all... ^;3^

Sure. Lets hope the dice are as nice to me today.

Since there continues to be player interest about this, yes!

This is Cera's character sheet after the changes you recommended. Cera has chosen Artificial Intelligence as her 3rd level skill. The warrior in her is leaning toward a combat-related skill for 4th level (per Shop Talk, one gets another attack per round not only with Boxing, but one can also get that extra attack with either Kick Boxing or Wrestling - but they do not stack!).

Ideas, folks?

Also, I'm going to pause in-game until Kaerri and Psychie have posted (no surprise there, I'm sure). Until then, enjoy the new Cera you've helped to improve!

To go with the thought that I started in the IC thread, would Toph need to spend a skill to upgrade her medical knowledge for the futuristic equipment in the Broadsword? Or can that just be a ongoing thing for her to use her Research skill to read up on it?

I'm staying outta this one! =)

To go with the thought that I started in the IC thread, would Toph need to spend a skill to upgrade her medical knowledge for the futuristic equipment in the Broadsword? Or can that just be a ongoing thing for her to use her Research skill to read up on it?

That's a cool line of thinking, Toph, but the answer is neither. See, there is no skill in Palladium (or any other game that I know of) that will help someone adjust to technology made in their future. What Toph needs is immersion and time (and preferably, instruction). The Research skill is, quite possibly, the only skill that (I think) can help this process along, but nothing beats sitting down and getting to know your gear in a hands-on manner, especially when you have someone sitting beside you willing to teach it to you.

Think of it kind of like this - imagine the technology we have today, then imagine being transported to a world of Cyberpunk. Sure, there are cars, phones, video games, and online roleplaying forums (one hopes!), but they are so vastly different in some ways (cars fly, phones are inside your head, video games are virtual reality, and the online roleplaying forums are still using XenForo. =) ).

So... the longer Toph spends in that medbay, the smaller her negatives for attempting to use said technology without assistance become. In the meantime, Toph will (like the rest of the Wild Cards) have to make do in trusting the Broadsword and its crew when things get bloody.

"Fair enough." Someone else around here uses that phrase, too, but who could it be? Hmmm.... =)

I'm inclined to suggest Wrestling for Cera, as well as wanting it for Elinor. It gives some potentially handy attacks that striking-type martial arts don't have ("filling in the hole," as Dannigan put it when I asked for comparisons regarding the three above skills), and a really nice bonus to SDC, as well as the +1 to roll with impact (never a bad thing, right?).

Never a bad thing to have any bonuses in combat. It works for me.

So!

Before there was a General Steele in our Robotech: Broadsword game, there was a General Steele in the terrific sitcom, M*A*S*H* 4077. Who would have known? This General Steele, I think, is a bit of an oddball. What do you think? =)

As one YouTube poster pointed out, notice there's no laugh track. =)
Oh, and the person in the dress is Corporal Klinger. He dresses like that in the hopes that the Army will grant him a ticket for being crazy to get him out of Korean War and back to the United States. Another oddball. =)

Oh, you likes fluffy an' cute bumps? I haz!!

Seeeeeeeeee?
