Literature What "Phrase" or Quotation best represents you?

_Zarathos_

Hit Me!
Mine is when my chemistry teacher in high school said to me that "Everything is a toxin to you including water and even something as complex as your emotions if there is to much of it being 'Consumed'." What she meant by that is that Balance is key to basically... Harmony or peace of mind, or a healthy body. Even in video games, if their is to much competition it isnt fun and if its to social its to chaotic for people sometimes or just simply put... LAME.

Whats yours? :)

From Gravity Falls: "Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram."

From Fairy Tail: "The moment you think of giving up, think of the reason you held on so long."

From Digimon: "Now I see more and understand less."

And from me:
"WHAT THE SHIT."

All from the Phantom of the Opera.

“Our lives are one masked ball.”

“He had a heart that could have held the entire empire of the world; and, in the end, he had to content himself with a cellar.”

“All I wanted was to be loved for myself.”

“You will live a short, miserable life full of failure and disappointment, and then you die.”
-The Witch from Big Fish, a musical

“When I evaluate you at the end of this semester I will put, ‘Ambition: high, as long as there are no obstacles.’ “
-My conducting teacher to me a few weeks ago

Basically the phrase in my signature: If you want the rainbow, ya gotta have the rain! <3

Well, there are quotes that bring me deep comfort or happiness...

And those that were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.

Each night, when I go to sleep, I die. And the next morning, when I wake up, I am reborn.

If you hold back on the emotions--if you don't allow yourself to go all the way through them--you can never get to being detached, you're too busy being afraid. You're afraid of the pain, you're afraid of the grief. You're afraid of the vulnerability that loving entails. But by throwing yourself into these emotions, by allowing yourself to dive in, all the way, over your heard even, you experience them fully and completely.

And then there are things I say a lot...

That's wild.

It be like that sometimes.

(record scratch, freeze frame)

"See that guy standing in the middle of all this chaos with a weird look on his face?

Yeah. That's me.

And I should probably tell you all about how I got into this situation..."

By Sun Tzu...

He whom the ancients called an expert in battle gained victory where victory was easily gained. Thus, the battle of the expert is never an exceptional victory, nor does it win him reputation for wisdom or credit for courage. His victories in battle are unerring. Unerring means that he acts where victory is certain and conquers an enemy that has already lost.

For some reason..

"Facts don't care about your feelings" is a quote that resonates with me. XD

I can't even remember where I heard it!

I see you are also a fan of Ben Shapiro, our lord and savior. Practically god at this point.

"There are no heroes or villains. There’s just what I want and how I’ll get it."

"Explaining a human being's nature as an independent invidual with their own years of experience and of growth as a living creature, with their most deeply rooted ethos and insecurities is literally impossible to explain with a single quote, no person alive is a singly faceted being with only one purpose or aspect to them, so their personality and their consciousness can never be wrapped up in one tidy quote." - me

"There is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the shield of the law and in the name of justice." - Montesquieu
I'm not sure if this "represents" me, but it is a quote that I think about most often.

If you are a dreamer, come in.
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer . . .
If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire,
For we have some flax golden tales to spin.

~ Shel Silverstein

"We'll all die eventually, so why fucking bother with all the bullshit this world throws your way and not just enjoy the pleasantries it can throw instead? Mind you, there is select bullshit that can just fuck your life up entirely if you don't bother with it. So take life with a grain of salt, do what needs to get done, and set yourself up for happiness man."- This was something I said to a friend who was suicidal and had reached out to me for help. The more I thought it about, the more I realized it meant more than I had initially had in mind.
