Realistic or Modern Killing Games xx

Greetings.

As I'm sure you've deduced from the title, this is an idea for an RP that will have the element of elimination to it. In other words, your character can be killed off. If any of you have watched Mirai Nikki or The Hunger Games, the plot idea for this RP is achingly similar.

Every character in this roleplay is a criminal, serving anywhere from fifty years to a triple life sentence due to the nature of their crimes, the repetition of said crimes, and other factors. These characters have been thrust into a situation where they are going to fight to survive, in exchange for total freedom and their crimes being erased from their records. However, there is a bit of a twist. Before being thrown into the arena, the characters were all shown a video explaining to them that inside the arena, they are going to have to fight horrible beasts. Basically, everyone thinks at first that the only enemies they have to survive are the beasts.

Sound crazy? Well, there's more. The head of operations, a man named Mr. Kang, visits each character individually for a onexone conversation before the "game" begins. He tells everyone's character the truth: that they also have to kill each other, and be one of three left alive to gain their freedom. He tells them this, and then informs them that they are the only player he has told the truth to. "Why am I telling you this? Because I felt like it. Remember this: the others don't know you're going to be trying to kill them. Use that to your advantage. Make alliances. Pretend to be their friend. Then when their guard is down, kill them. Do it for your freedom."

Liar. In reality, every character knows that they have to kill the others; they just don't know that everyone knows. They think they're the only one who is aware of this truth, when in reality every player in that arena knows.

So, where does the elimination come into play?

As I said earlier, this is a roleplay where your character can, and most likely will die. When your character dies, you can no longer play as one of the players. You can either drop out of the roleplay or stay in as a "sponsor", one of the many betting on which players will triumph.

this is so great

I can already see two characters befriending each other with the intent of killing them, then both going to 'sleep', just to find themselves both staring at each other holding weapons realizing they're both trying to kill each other.

so yeah, I'm interested.

Great! I'll mark you down as interested.
I'm thinking of recruiting ten people before we begin the RP, so if you know anyone who'd be interested feel free to mention this to them.
