another newbie

heya! my name's fabkin. i've been roleplaying for roughly six years now. been struggling with motivation for almost a year, so i thought branching out onto a new forum would help me out! i'm open to trying out most genres [can specify a bit more if you're curious], but please bear with me because i'm pretty rusty when it comes to sites with so much diversity. i generally tend to write at least a couple of paragraphs per post, since i tend to like to write a bunch.

outside of writing, i play video games a lot, like to draw and code, and i spend 90% of my time on youtube or discord. i'm excited to be here and i'm looking forward to roleplaying!

Hey Fabkin and Welcome to RPNation! It's great to see someone branch out to a new forum, it helps you meet more of our amazing community. I hope you don't mind me asking you a question: what first got you into roleplay?

i always liked writing as a kid, and i would roleplay on club penguin and roblox [so i guess that'd actually be 10 years of roleplaying?? just six on forums.] but i got super into the warrior cats series and joined a forum for that in 2013, and have moved on from that forum + warriors entirely, but i still like to roleplay.

this site seems chill + i like the number of genres it has, so i'm really happy to be here!

Huh, so you are a literate focus from the looks of things. It's great that you started roleplaying in chat room games too, it helps out with a lot of starting roleplayers. Warrior Cats was a good series, didn't know there was a RP forum for that though.

It sure is, the amount of genres is limitless although you see quite some common ones more often then others.
