Amateur Player, First time DM dnd 5e (new players welcome)

Vali Ulfr

The Battle Slain Wolf
Astheria and Ethersted, the two biggest counties on the continent are on the verge of war. Ethersted is a kingdom dominated by machinery and massive cities. Its known for producing machines that harness energy from ancient artifacts and become a power source for destructive weapons. This became the main cause of the war between both countries. Ethersted was hungry for the massive amounts of artifacts that Astheria held in the ruins. Ethersted asked for peace after a costly defeat, Astheria proved dominate in their tactics and home field advantage. Suddenly, word has begun to spread that a new type of magic has emerged in Astheria, and they are becoming restless. Nobles scream for war while the military is hungry for death. Soon this will spread throughout the Astherian country side. Astherians are professional naturalists of the wilds. The people of Astheria have developed fierce beasts and excel at magic, breeding, and the unknown. They have few educations or colleges yet they mainly focus on developing bonds with their bound spirits patrons. Recently there has been an increase of refugees entering the countries. Two Kings rangers were sent to investigate yet only one came back. His discovery has only let to more questions which no one seems to answer. The kingdom refuses to tell any info on the current situation.

The intentions of both nations are unknown, but one thing is clear… darkness is approaching… and it’s almost here.

Main points
- 5e play tested material
- romance and that stuff is allowed but not till mid campaign
- i have the tendency to stay inconsistent and forget. so please ask about it days before the session
- i'd prefer to have some female people because males think differently then female.
- Sunday is the optimal date. start time would be 4:30 or 5:30 (PST is my time zone) and would run for about 2-3 hours depending on campaign.
- PLEASE bring your patience.

Eh, I'm going to have some extra time, I'll try it. I have been wanting to try a necromancer recently. Are you using any specific campaign? Any idea when we'd start? And just to be clear on times, what time zone are you in?

I have PDF where is all 5 pages, but those 3 later are empty.

Necromancer is a school for Wizards. Though I'm between that and doing a rogue.

Just made a slight update, changed Poison Spray in exchange for Toll the Dead. Better? Not really. More thematic? Heck yah.

Edit: Also could I spend the 10 GP for Find Familiar now and start the game with it? Otherwise that's just going to be the very first thing I do anyway.
