1.) WHY are they your favourite?

2.) HOW did you find out about them? What anime are they from?

3.) Do you pair them(ship?) with anybody in particular?

My favourite anime character has to be Izuku ((Deku)) Midoriya from My Hero Academia! I can't help it! He's an adorable cinnamon roll. Not to mention his amazing smarts and his nature to be rather observant. I love how he puts others before himself in even the most dangerous situations, like when he rescued Kacchan, multiple times, despite Kacchan hating his guts and how serious the scenarios were. I mean, the fricken boy could've died! But he didn't! Because he's awesome and perseverant. Not to mention his little freckles. Oohhh his freckles~ To me he just stands out as a really original protagonist, and even though the boy has some faults, and by some a mean a lot, I still really love the effort put into him.

I found out about Izuku from my friend! She'd recommended to me MHA a while ago, and barely five minutes into the prologue and intro, I fell in love.

Hm, I could pair Deku up with a bunch of people! Say liiike, maybe Uraraka? Or Kacchan? Maybe even Todoroki? Yes. Definitely Todoroki. I mean, have you seen that bond between them. Oof.

I'm not sure who I'd say my favorite anime character is, but I would say that Kyubey from Madoka Magica would make that list. I love the little cat creature alien guy XD Everyone says he's evil, but I've done some research and read reviews and even written reports for it. I have many arguments for why he is not evil.

I have a lot of characters that I love. But my top 3 are defiantly:
1. Roronoa Zoro from One Piece (because he's my main boo).
2. Bartholomew from One Piece (because seriously he is an adorable fanboy).
3. And third place is tied between Sabo and Luffy from One Piece (because they're awesome).
As you can see, I'm a huge One Piece fan. The reason why I love these characters, is because the entire show in itself is one of the best I've ever watched. They know when to drag it on and when to give you action. And it's honestly just plain hilarious.
For the longest time I used to ship Roronoa Zoro and Monkey D. Luffy because, bromance anyone?

Hikigaya Hachiman from Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru (aka Oregairu or Snafu), the guy in my profile picture. His view of life is too similar to mine and it helps that he's put in a slice-of-life anime, makes it more relatable instead of "if I were in this fantasy universe I'd totally be as cool as this guy".

I have too many characters I like, but to give 3 honorable mentions:
- Ichimaru Gin from Bleach
- Annie Leonhart from Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)
- Komaeda Nagito from the Danganronpa series (they're games, but there are also animes)

That is a good choice. Hachiman is a great character, but what team are you on?

As for my Personal favorite. Hm. Definitely Yukihira Souma.

Personally he is one of the best Shounen Protagonists in my opinion, and I just love his cockiness and personality. Food Wars/Shokugeki no Souma in general is an amazing show and got me into cooking. Probably my favorite Shounen from recent years, ranking above BNHA and whatever other shounen anime have recently come out. As for Ships, I personally ship him with either Nikumi, or Hisako as those are my two favorite girls. Won't ever happen but I can dream.

I'll assume you mean the "route" that I think he should follow. I'm inclined to say Yukino, though I must say that I'd been expecting that one scene with Shizuka.

Lacie Baskerville (Who technically, doesn't appear in the anime adaptation, and that makes the bad adaptation even worse with her absence) from Pandora Hearts. She's just a brilliantly complex character, who really was tragic (Not gonna say why because SPOILER)
Oh fine, I am gonna say why.
She knew she was going to die - be killed by her brother - since she was a literal child, and she never tried to run from her fate. Sure, she ran away from the Baskerville's a few times, but that was so she could experience life before her inevitable end. She was so amazing and I love / hate her for it. I wish she could have lived.

Also, her character design was beautiful

Oooh. Loved that anime, been scared to read it though since I heard it continues with a lot of tragedy.

Favorite character is Greed, from the FMA Series. The dude plays an awesome antihero!

Zero and Yuki from Vampire Knight

Alice & Jiro from Black Blood Brothers

I first discovered Black Blood Brothers in 2006, shortly after getting married along with discovering Wolf's Rain and Death Note. I think they're perfect for each other, it's just sad that since Alice was killed and reborn as Jiro's "brother" that they can't be together.

Vampire Knight I discovered in....2015 maybe? Not sure but it was a few years ago. I don't like Kaname. He's a controlling asshole. Zero is much better for her in my opinion so I would ship those two if I ever did a Vampire Knight fan fic.

Read the manga.
Honestly, the artwork's prettier, the story actually develops, some of the best characters (Zwei, Lacie, Levi for example) don't appear properly in the anime, and the CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT (Vincent's character development is the best thing ever).

And Greed is amazing.

Hank Hill from King of the Hill.

Hank Hill is the best anime character because he's super powerful and has propane powers.

I don't ship him, because his canonical relationship is perfect. Dat man don't cheat on his lady.

Yukio Okumura

Yukio hands down has to be my favorite anime character of all time. Yes, I understand that the anime itself was not necessarily the most accurate, but I still love him nonetheless.

Contrary to popular belief, I find Yukio to be an incredibly strong person. From birth, he was able to see the very creatures that haunts the dreams of many humans, and he even went so far as to try and stop “seeing the scary things” by beginning Exorcist training at only 7 years old, becoming the youngest person to ever hold the title

Not only this, but he is also a very hard-working and driven character that I often find myself in. He’s passionate about what he does, not allowing himself to slack off or rest when there is a job to be done. Like myself, this tends to result in a carelessness for personal health, especially when it comes to a sleeping schedule.

He also, we can assume, has a desire to help people to the best of his ability. He chose the meister of Doctor for a reason, possibly to protect other people like he wanted to protect his brother. This is also evidenced by his caring tone toward Shiemi when he helped her when her legs became incapacitated.

He values morals and keeps himself ahead of the game, always thinking ahead. He helps people through medicine, like myself, and he takes life as it is-not overly optimistic so much as a realist.

He doesn’t need anyone to fall in love with, and it has even been stated that he has no specific type for women, or any preferences, more than likely because of his workaholic status. That being said, he’s a character that is a bit harder to ship with others-the more common being a relationship of incest with his older brother.

Overall, Yukio may seem like an asshat most of the time, but in all honesty he’s a very sweet character that I’ve grown to love so much. His drive, love for family, and overall personality make him simply one of the most likeable characters I have ever fallen for.

I don't know if I'm gonna get any hate because of this since he's such a controversial character but I must say that Griffith from Berserk is one of my favourite characters of all times and that's mainly because of how human he is.
While he's an excellent swordsman and tactician he's also very self-sacrificing and hard on himself, partly due to the fact that everyone expects him to perform miracles with every breath that he takes but also because he holds so many lives in his hands. He might seem and act distant but on the inside he laments the ones who have fallen for his dream and those who will come to fall for it next.
For him there's only one way and that's forward; to not let the lives of his comrades go to waste and honour their loyalty but also as to not lose himself to the despair.
I pity Griffith, I truly do but I cannot bring myself to wish him a happy ending because I don't think there is one for him left. Also this is only my take on his character, I do not claim for it to be the truth of all truths nor do I despise those who hate him.

As for how I became aware of his existence; well I always kinda was. Berserk is famous and rightfully so, it's a wonderful piece of literature (at least the manga) but I never found the will in me to pick it up before now.

Who I ship Griffith with? Well fuck, it's a complicated matter because while I could just say Guts I do not ship them in the sense that I want them to "end up together" because that won't fucking happen. I also don't think Griffith 'deserves' that privilege and that it won't stop the darkness that's feasting on his soul. It's obvious that the bond which connects the two is a very special one, the kind that can't be described (I'm getting a headache from even trying to do so) and I cannot fathom Griffith dying in the hands of none other than Guts.
In that sense I "ship" them.

CONCLUSION: i dunno if i made him any justice or like explained why i like him at all but yeah. muh brain, muh dreems 2 complezx

Tsume from wolfs rain was most certainly one of my most favourite anime characters I have seen. I felt he was such a diverse character that had so much to give and his emotions were blocked but you still felt the passion and sadness that came from him through the series.

Another favourite of mine that comes from a anime fin would have to be..Mimi!
Yes, that from cat from that one film. Children who chase lost voices. Why you ask, I loved the different and secretive role that mimi played in the film.

Escanor, Kuma, Doflamingo, Sanji, Sebas. Ainz.

There are many more characters that I like, but these are off the top of my head.

sanji is making me tear up though sanji my man

Annie from attack on titan is my favorite anime character. I ship her with Eren from AOT. Annie is my favorite anime character because she is Annie.

Bakugou from bnha, because he has a similar personality to mine.
I Found out about him due to a joke about me and my ex girlfriend. She spent 10 minutes laughing trying to tell me how similar we were with how loud and aggressive I can be.
I Used to ship Bakudeku but i love the idea of Kiribaku and Tododeku much better.

My favorite anime character is Rias Gremory from high school DxD I found out about this anime from my friend joey when he was showing me new anime. And i will forever always ship her with Issei cause if you seen the anime it's like they are meant for each other even though all these other girls like him to.

Kisame Hoshigaki from Naruto.
Watched Naruto on Toonami as a kid, used to make fun of it as I waited for reruns of DBZ. Slowly began liking it. Fastforward to 2010-11, Kisame gets a lot of screen time and one of the best deaths in the series. Made me love the dude.

Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler
1.) WHY are they your favourite?
He is well spoken and stoic yet he has his moments where he shows emotion when as a demon he shouldn't. He's always dapper and a swooner to the eye in my personal opinion, I love how he talks, the original voice for Sebastian is very soothing and he speaks so eloquently, it shows the smarts. Clearly, I got a crush on the guy.
2.) HOW did you find out about them? What anime are they from?
Black Butler, I found out about the anime by a few old friends!

3.) Do you pair them(ship?) with anybody in particular?

This may sound hilarious but I ship him with Grell and Mey Rin.

Right now? It's a bit... Hard for me to say exactly, but I'd have to say either Claude Faustus, or Alois Trancy from Kuroshitsuji II.

With Claude, he's more dominant, quiet, strong, and I feel like he still has a gentle loving side. With Alois I share a personal connection with him, which I'm not going to really touch on here.

I got into Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) because a lot of my friends have read all the manga and seen all the anime, plus on it the Youtubers I have been following for years does quite a few videos on it, so I got into it.

I pair Claude with quite a few but if I had to pick my main two for him it 'd be Claude and Hanna, and Claude and Neve (my own character). For Alois I ship Alois with Ciel, and with Isabella (another of my own characters).

This is probably a terrible thread for me to answer, seeing as I've only seen one anime, but Light Yagami is a really good character. The whole anime is pretty good actually, focusing more on the battle of wits than brawn.

??????? ??????
Yeah, he's the type of character who you either love or hate.

But, I really can't explain why in a quick, easy way. He's a flawed, but lovely character. I certainly don't condone a lot of the things he does throughout his series, but I do admire how much effort he puts into his beliefs, even though I disagree with them. They're twisted and they hurt people, but he does them out of good intentions, which makes him hard to hate. I guess it all started because I felt really bad for him. He'd been alone most of his life. The world abandoned him and it warped him into something scary, but it's hard to see him as anything other than hurting. Still, I know if one collected the pieces of his shatter self and glued him all back together again, one would find something warm, kind, and selfless. He's a good guy gone wrong. I wanted to figure out why he did the things he did despite his occasional flashes of kindness and pain, and I guess I just got attached to him in my search. He's also inspired me to reach out to the people around me, so that no one feels alone. I'm pretty sure I found out about him through anime memes, which introduced me to Danganronpa when I was in middle school. I don't really pair him with anyone, but I do wish he found someone kind to love so he doesn't feel so alone to death. I really hate the Junko x Komaeda ship, though, just because of how unhealthy and cruel it is.
