Ash, standing quietly looking around, woozy from the bite she'd been given by the woman who had driven her here, felt confused. She'd moved to the tent to grab the letter, frowning at the name of her roommate. Francis Sato. Having no idea who that was, she pocketed it for now, and moved back out of the tents range, looking around. She caught a glimpse of the two pregnant girls going behind the tent, and assumed quietly to herself that the vampire wanted to feed. Or, by the way the feeder seemed to be dragging the vampire, needed to feed. She herself knew the lesson there. You needed to keep your vampire fed, else it meant a punishment. Ash, of course, didn't have a vampire of her own, but the family who owned her were her masters and mistresses instead. And she was expected to keep them all happy, alongside the few other feeders they had.

Lurking around, cradling her bitten arm close, she glanced around. Maybe she could talk to the older feeder once she returned from behind the tent. She seemed like someone who needed a friend, and Ash didn't really want to approach anyone else. Especially not a vampire.

Lady Titania Salvaeus
Titania watched her bodyguard closely as she awaited his reaction to her more than obvious jest. The mear thought of seeing Michael blush made it hard not to laugh but with great patience and personal control, Titania managed to wholesomely hold her laughter back. That was until Micheal actually did come forward with a blush upon his face, at which point Titania began to shed tears in accompanying to her soft laughings. The young mistress, in fact, found a need to move her hand over her mouth to silence herself as waking Bethany was, of course, the last thing she wanted to do in this situation.

Unfortunately, her laughter was cut short when a small whimper was heard from her side. The mistress quickly moved from the centre seat to that of the vacant right, giving the pained feeder more room to toss and turn should she need it. After some time of silence and intense focus on the girl, Titania let out a soft sigh. A habit she had picked up that indicated both relief and deep thought. It was easy to see Titania cared greatly for the young girl and seeing her in pain was a sight that pained her deeply.

With time and silence, Bethany soon settled back into her sleep and Titania back into her reading. The school soon also came into view and as it did Titania began packing away her scattered belongings. And by belongings, I mean the large number of books she had read throughout the journey. With everything ready to go Titania reached out beside her and nudged Bethany slightly, rousing the girl from her sleep as the lady spoke "Sorry Bethany but we've arrived at the school. Did you sleep well?". As Titania spoke she made efforts to wipe the sleep from the girl's eyes while at the same time fixing the eyepatch from its crooked position.

Titania spoke to Micheal as she did this, the car coming to a soft stop at the school entrance "Micheal, get the door for little Bethany first, then me. afterwards, you two should acquire the luggage from the trunk. I left a small case empty for Bethany to carry, I don't want her overexerting herself for the sake of appearances." With that said Titania moved back to her own seat and sat upright and proper, in public she was not to be herself. Not to be Titania, but the heir of Salvaeus. But before that, as Micheal was exiting the car she let out one last joke to clear the air before her persona had to be changed "That's what I have you for isn't it Micheal?"

Ellie hung on to every word the man said, listening intently yet also noticing every little thing he did. Perhaps it was her unconsciously trying to take advantage of her contacts, but Ellie liked to take in everything she saw. There was so much in the world to see and to hear and to taste and to smell and to feel... so much, and Ellie knew she had to remember it all. The man's name was Rolan Allister. He was the guidance counselor. What exactly did guidance counselors do around here? Provide emotional support? Ellie remembered her counselor back in high school. They'd said something along the lines of: "You'll never get into a good college". Ellie had assumed it was because of her B in English.

Mr. Allstar's face changed momentarily. Ellie couldn't discern what exactly it changed into, but she had the feeling she hit a bad subject... Did his clothing have sentimental value?? He sighed. Shit, it must've really had sentimental value. He said he got his clothing when he was still young.

"Uh, but you're still-"

Ellie paused for a moment. The man was floating. Dammit, why didn't she notice him floating? Floating dude, acting like his clothing has sentimental value, speaking of when he was still young...

"Wait, are you a spirit?" Ellie asked.

No... he couldn't be... spirits usually wore white burial robes and often had black hair. They'd have wisps around them too. Mr. Allister... he just looked like a floating dude.

"Or... are you just floating?"

Matavar Calnaeros-Levsea|18 Yrs-1 Yr Tuned|Sanguine/Psychic-House Levsea
As he read over his class schedule, there were other classes besides his psychic gym and physical gym classes. One such class that utterly confused the vampire was Politics...why exactly had father put him into politics? Matavar knew he was the heir of his house, being a descendant of the first Levsea vampire and founder of the house through father but he hadn't thought father would put him into politics. Even the name sounded boring and it was probably the same mumbo jumbo boorishness as it was in university. But, as father said, he had eternity to amuse himself with various education plans should he desire to do so. They might not be a major house but they knew how to survive and father had told him some interesting information before he'd left that he was ordered to never repeat to anyone, a little house secret as his father put it.

Mulling over further down his classes and the note in question that he really wished he could just set on fire when he had the chance, the sound of a voice reaching his ears caused his eyes to lift from the note to see what looked to him, like a normal human standing in front of him who immediately began talking and then afterwards swept into a bow before the Sanguine/Psychic vampire though he doubted the human would know that. This human seemed somewhat respectful at least and if he hadn't been aware of all the human servants in his father's house, he might have thought this one was a servant of his minor house. His own training, more manners being told to him over and over by his parents, caused the vampire to bite back a sigh of irritation and respond though not as jovially as this human did so with him. "Don't expect me to shake your hand," growled out Matavar at the human before clenching the note in his fist as he folded his list in half with his other hand. Dropping a backpack on the ground, the vampire unzipped the front pocket and zipped it back up, the vampire taking a moment to look into the human's mind but he didn't see anything of much importance there or that seemed concerning.

"I doubt you can help me much...unless you feel like going up against a lord if he happens to annoy me," said Matavar, "or helping find some vampire named after a tree...some Lord Rowen something or other." Truthfully Matavar hadn't bothered to pay much attention to the name of the vampire, other than that the name seemed to be of a minor house like his own. It would certainly be amusing for him to watch, especially if this human managed to get one over on a pure blood lord and kill it, particularly if it was one of those that had been born a vampire. The human had spunk and exhibited nothing but naivety to the hybrid...that would likely change soon enough once he was forced to interact with the supernatural creatures here. Introducing himself as Gabriel, Matavar took that moment to stand, slinging his backpack back over a free shoulder. Staring around him with a bored expression, it was obvious that he had no desire to be here in this place. "Matavar Calnaeros," he spoke, leaving off the other half of his name. He might be young but he wasn't entirely stupid. "Vampire hunters can mask themselves as regular humans, a specially engineered creature to hunt our race. They are essentially bred and undergo specific training in order to surpass the levels of a normal human but are on par with the second set of special humans who can wield magic, what the vampire community calls Magister and thought extinct. If you can get the chance to bed one or even feed off of a Magister, savor it." Pushing father's words on the dangers of two human enemies to the back of his mind, Matavar watched the human before sighing. It beat standing around here and he had no real issues with them, formerly being one himself. Aside from the human he'd tried pick pocketing that had taken matters into his own hands and nearly killed him, however there was something here he could use with the human. "Games hmm? What kind?" There were so many options there. ZiggyZig ZiggyZig

Bethany Rosewell|10 Yrs|Feeder/Slave-House Salvaeus
What might have been minutes or even hours later, the young child had settled back into sleep as the ride continued. Yet, all too soon, the young child was nudged awake, her sole eye slowly fluttered open and closed as she heard her mistress's voice speaking to her. As she slowly sat up, her mistress adjusted her eye patch which had become crooked as she slept, it was the only way to cover the still gaping hole of her left eye socket. The child froze though as she felt her mistress's hands on her face, instinctively cringing back against the seat and for a few moments fear was evident in her good eye. Said eye roved uneasily between the door, her mistress who had was seated on the opposite side of her and then to the bodyguard-servant person, she couldn't figure out exactly what the male vampire was who was seated in the passenger side of the car.

Bethany sat up, turning her head to look out the window. There were trees and a large building. She didn't see the wrought iron gate that they had passed through as she'd been asleep but she did see plenty of people walking around, none looking anywhere near the child's age. She could see that it was sun set and wondered why she was being woken up at such an hour, not really understanding that the child would have to go against her very nature and was being forced to go to classes at night time like the vampires she served instead of in the day like normal people...like humans. Bethany wasn't entirely certain if she was supposed to respond to whatever had been said to her and so she kept quiet, only attempting to move away from the door while keeping as far from her mistress as possible.

At first the child had been excited to learn something but when she found out what she would be learning and that she would need to be there for her mistress's feeding and her place in the world before her, a world that had no business existing and yet did, a world that was scary and hurtful; the child had dared to protest. The thought of being around other vampires and other strange creatures of the night that fed on innocent human beings as the child saw it, frightened her. Of course, protesting in front of another vampire had only gotten the young child in trouble and and for a moment her previous master and what he would have done came to the girl. This was the first time Bethany was hearing of a school where slaves could learn to be slaves and how to "interact" with the supernatural world, mainly their vampire "betters" as she had heard one of master's servants refer to Garaenyx Valaeris, her former master with a hard to pronounce name, not that she had been allowed to call the man by any part of his name.

Now that they were here within the school, which had a vast expanse of grounds from what little she could make out before her, what with the sky slowly turning color; the girl was frightened again. She didn't want to go out there into the darkness, into the world of the undead and monsters that would see her as an animal and something to harass and abuse. Yet if she didn't go out there then Bethany would likely end up facing some sort of punishment from not just her mistress but her bodyguard as well. Unbiddingly and perhaps naturally a whimper of fear escaped the girl as she looked outside at the grounds before her, the child beginning to shake in fear. On the one hand, there was the outside world that was cruel and harmful, on the other hand the child was trapped with two vampires who could easily kill or worse turn her into one of them. Death would be better but with vampires, there was no telling how long it would take her to die, they would probably make her suffer first for their own amusement. Michael shifted uncomfortably in his seat as his master began to laugh at his embarrassment. There was little he could do but sink further in the seat to avoid actually having Titania see him in this state in fear that she might continue to laugh. As she calmed herself down, Michael finally sat up straight once more, sending a warning glare at the driver that practically screamed - "Speak of this to anyone and I will hunt you down." - to which the driver just nodded, sworn to secrecy. There were things they kept to themselves, and this was one of them.

Hearing a whimper from Bethany, Michael instinctively turned to look at her as well. His eyes softened. Poor young one. While he was sure that she didn't care for her as much as Titania did, he did certainly feel bad for her. He liked to think that, as she was a fellow servant, she was some sort of little sister as well as a colleague despite her just being a feeder. However, upon her settling down, Michael turned back to the road in front of them. He occasionally exchanged words with the driver in hushed whispers - in an attempt to keep the both of them awake.

He heard his master rouse Bethany from her sleep, but he did not turn to look. As the car drove through the gates, entering the glamour world and switching sights between normal humans to that of the supernatural world - his face brightened up. Finally, it was his own world. His eyes roved over the stone gargoyles who stood watch over the gates. Michael had been accustomed to living in both worlds though - both in day and night. While the sunlight was painful, gritting it and smiling through it was part of the training. Studying the humans firsthand was certainly a fun and interesting thing to do.

As the drop-off point was nearing, he adjusted his own clothing so he would actually be presentable. He began to pat down his hair that had been ruffled in his stay at the car. It wasn't like anyone else was inside who would tell about his appearance, but out there was different. Upon hearing his master's orders, he nodded. "As you wish, m'lady." He said before opening his door. Before he could step out, she let out a final joke. He smiled at her. "It is." He emerged from the car and watched the other students, faculty and staff roam around for only a moment before moving.

Opening Bethany's side first, he nodded at the young girl to exit the vehicle. Once she was out, he closed the door and rounded the vehicle to open Titania's door. Giving his master a smile, he waited for her to get out before closing it. He then went to the trunk and knocked on it. It popped right up to reveal three suitcases, a backpack and the small empty case for Bethany. He first wore his personal backpack and then grabbed the three suitcases - the weight combined didn't even faze him for even a bit. He then looked at Bethany and gestured towards the empty case that was left. "While I do not mind carrying this for an indefinite amount of time, I suggest we move now." He let out one very last joke which was actually normal for him. He nodded gratefully at the driver and then waited for the two to make their move.

The look of wonder in Ellie's eyes amused Roland, but then it turned to one of confusion. He raised his eyebrows as she asked if he was a spirit - all in complete disbelief. He let out a warm chuckle as he floated backwards a bit and then drifted beside her so that she would get a better look at him - that he was actually semi-transparent. He was expending energy to actually look solid to others, but playing with lighting usually did the trick of tricking others. "Indeed I am, Ms. Ellie." He replied once he got into position.

"While it would be nice to hear that I am still alive, per se, I sadly cannot say that. Though to be more accurate, I am a poltergeist." He continued but kept a kind smile on his face mostly because of her look of absolute disbelief. He then floated in front of her once more and then extended his hand. "If you still do not believe me, shake my hand." Once she closed in her hand in an attempt to shake it, it would be like she was touching air. As expected from a spirit, he wasn't exactly tangible in any sense.

Once she was done with any other attempt to touch him, his figure would once more solidify into something more opaque. It wasn't very taxing to do, and he's gotten used to it over the time he's spent doing it. His eyes wandered around, seeing commotion but didn't do anything. Unless fists were thrown or harmful spells were uttered, he isn't in any position to stop anyone. No matter, it seemed to be resolved by itself. He turned back to Ellie, burning her appearance to his mind. It's not that he would forget her if he didn't. Her appearance wasn't as common as others' after all.

"If you were going to ask, yes, I was buried in this clothing. And no, wisps aren't common. In fact, the humans are the only ones who came up with that, possibly because the spirits they encountered were playing jokes on them." Roland didn't mean to take a small peek into Ellie's thought process. It had been a mere coincidence that he activated a small pulse to see what she was feeling but it lashed with a thought. However, he didn't get anything other than that so he hoped it wasn't too personal. He wouldn't want such a young and interesting girl to hate him suddenly. Besides, she looked like she was here to enjoy what she can learn. Other students were more jaded ad they feel more inclined to simply try their best to pass the time they had to spend in school. He was glad that there were some like Ellie out there who valued the knowledge and experience they would gain here in the Academy.

Kalean, now out of ideas except for one last ditch attempt she grabbed a small needle from her pocket and stabbed the tip of her finger with slight hesitation, wincing but giving a smile as the small drop of blood grew before daring to trickle down her hand, before Athena could even reply she moved the hand practically shoving the pointer finger into the other girls mouth, or better described lips, "Y-You have to drink m'lady….. For both you and your babies health~…." she whispered, a slightly sorrowful yet still dutiful tone and expression on her face, "For me?…." she whispered, it seemed when her mistress got like this she worried far too much about her feeder, sometimes using her own emotions could benefit in the situation.

Athena felt the girl's finger press between her lips and into her mouth before the blood droplet dribbled onto her tongue. The sweet sensation of taste and blood rushed through her. Her body almost physically shook from the newfound energy. She struggled internally about pulling the girl's finger free of her mouth and resisting the urge to feed, but then...the girl asked Athena to do it for her...to feed...How could she resist then? Athena began to suck the blood slowly from the girl's finger until she had just enough to sate her hunger and not a drop more.

Bethany Rosewell|10 Yrs|Feeder/Slave-House Salvaeus
The child didn't take anymore notice of her mistress or Michael. The driver she ignored altogether as the person ignored her presence. Michael came over and opened the car door where she was sitting, the child fumbling with the seat belt...she wasn't immortal like the supernatural after all...before hesitantly hopping out of the car, showing great reluctance of doing so. The male then disappeared, heading over to open the door for the mistress and then went to the back of the car where he pulled out four suitcases, picking up three yet left the fourth one on the ground. Bethany's eyes were warily upon the school grounds however and did not notice or pay any particular attention but being human, her eyesight was only good so far into the distance. It was only when Michael spoke to her that she moved, muttering a hurried apology and seeming to shrink in on herself, attempting to put as much distance, however futile between herself and the male vampire as possible before grabbing the suitcase. As it would turn out, the child would have even bigger problems soon enough.

Garaenyx had been informed by his brother as soon as he'd spotted Bethany's file and picture in an admission letter with some major blood house of her enrollment. Normally that would create issues, however Garaenyx knew something most other vampires had forgotten over the centuries as they became tame and domesticated themselves, a forgotten law about slaves and claims. Something he planned on exploiting as much as possible. Needles to say, the vampire had immediately come to the school, knowing his property as she rightfully was, would have to come through the gates. Nearby stood his brother, calmly greeting the students that filed through and staring after a few of the female humans in particular. The vampire had informed his brother to keep an eye on his property in case he missed her and deliver her to him as soon as possible or at least keep tabs on the girl and ensure none of the other male vampires put fang or hand on her.

Bethany was easy to spot and easy to find. Being one of the youngest slaves here from flipping through the human records, she was only about one of four her own age. Still, the vampire stood back but he could tell it was her when she turned and hurried towards another male, something that irked Garaenyx and he walked back to his brother, grabbing him roughly by the neck. The younger vampire let out a whine at the roughness before being turned around and following his older brother's finger to Bethany and the man there. "Who is that?" came the low growl.

"Some form of vampire slave to a Lady of some major bloodline...a Salvaeus...there's a lot of that family here."

Dropping his brother, the older and former...true master of the human child in question...continued watching the girl before striding forward across the grounds and grabbing the girl by her neck, hauling her easily up into the air. "Well, fancy seeing you outside pet," spoke a silky voice that dripped of venom , causing the girl in his clutches to freeze up.

Taegel Denerus|18 Yrs|Dhamphir (Vampire Hunter in Training)-House Denerus
"Mr. Denerus. Sir, we're here," spoke an elderly gentleman's voice, causing the passed out figure on the backseat to open his emerald eyes and sit up to see the sun setting in the sky. Soon it would be evening and who knew what the world would bring with the coming of night. Running a hand through his messed up white hair in an attempt to smooth it down, one wouldn't get this young man to be a member of House Denerus, after all his vampire family pretended he didn't exist and used him as a slave along with his mother until her untimely death. The Dhamphir frowned as his mother's face flashed into his mind's eye and he looked out the window at the creatures, his face twisting into a mask of bored indifference. He knew this was not what his mother had imagined for him but then she had always regretted not being able to give him a better life. Her servitude to his father and the house he had been born into wasn't her fault and he had never blamed her.

Taegel wasn't dressed in anything special, just a simple black t-shirt and blue jeans with a black leather bomber jacket that was unzipped at the front. Getting out of the car, he turned and reached back, hauling out a camouflage green backpack and a yellow duffel. Pulling them out, the dhamphir stood by the taxi until the human pulled out a couple suitcases and set them on the ground. Taegel pulled out a twenty. "Keep the change for your trouble," he said and proceeded to pick up his suitcases before making his way across the field towards where there was a large gathering of students, the man getting back into the taxi and turning the car around the circular drive before passing back through the gates. That's as good a place to start as any, he mused to himself as he kept walking in a straight line though tried to avoid touching any of the other students.

Madilyn Morshall|22 Yrs|Spell Werewolf
Madilyn jumped out of the taxi and stared wide-eyes around her. There was quite a gathering of students and she hoped she wasn't late for the new school year, her first school year as a newly awakened spell werewolf and only her second year as a protector of the white vampire house and its inhabitants. The young woman looked about her....trees...grass...mountains to her right and out of view but towards the north as she'd seen them when driving up here...peace and serenity....a ton of people. The woman was eager to begin her studies, even if she did have to get used to being on duty all the time as she'd heard there were twins of the Malific House enrolled here at the school as well and as there was only one of her, she had a lot of responsibility and duties...protecting and assisting them as well as schoolwork but she hoped she was up to the somewhat monumental task. Grabbing a suitcase and a backpack stuffed with clothing, the woman made her way after some other students and attempting to stem her yawns with her free hand as they filed west across the landscape towards a large field set up with colorful and open tents.

Somewhere around her there were words being repeated every five minutes about the tents in the distance, room mates and something concerning an assembly. Taking a note of it, she joined the throng of students, a big smile plastered on her face as she looked at the different tents, each having the name of a person upon it. Would she be able to fit in here in a school full of vampires? Would other werewolves accept a spell werewolf in their midst, let alone who had Magister blood in them as well? Would she do a good job and make her alpha proud of her by serving in her duties, both as a student and companion/protector to the twins of the Malific bloodline who were enrolled here? Madilyn's head was bursting with questions but she did her best to quell her thoughts and concentrate on the task at hand, finding her tent. Eventually she spotted it within the middle and headed over to it, grabbing her class list and her note, her head lowering as she began to read it.

Kalean winced a little as the vampire sucked the blood droplets from her finger, eyes watering a little, more from hormonal emotions if anything, 'good.' she thought, nodding a little from relief she'd done what she needed, as Athena finished she let the hand drop by her side, reaching into her pocket and grabbing out a bandage as though far too used to this sort of thing occurring, wrapping for finger with a bandaid before shoving the supply away and giving a polite smile, waiting for her mistress to begin leaving from behind the tents before following after, her desperation to sit down or support her back was great though whilst in such public eyes she had to keep up correct appearances as her role of feeder, at least stretching her back a little to one side with a good angle in a subtle manner to aid it a little.

It was from when the walked back out she saw the crowds attention being drawn to something by the front gate, her eyes widened dramatically, a small child being held up by the neck, her pale face enlightened yet another shade, her quivering eyes flew down to the paper in her hand and it only took a second to recognise the girl as the young feeder she was paired with, she couldn't help but tremble a little, she'd had such a thing done to herself on more than countless occasions, a hand reaching up and rubbing her neck for a second almost as though remembering the sensation before it dropped down again and despite her better instincts stood forward and in front of the pureblood mistress, not for the others protection but more in defence and a look as though she may snap and go after the vampire at any moment, "She's-…. just a child can't he-…. can't he…. see that?…." she whispered under her breath, eyes saddening as she clenched her teeth a little, she knew that made no difference to the more powerful and horrendous natures of some vampires, most didn't view that as any different a all in their kind however, clenching a fist a little, her attention only drawn away a little by the sudden light kicks of her child seeming to almost sense the mothers nervousness towards the situation, Kalean's small structure standing at the front of the crowd.

Athena stared on at the man picked up the small girl by her neck and a scowl crossed her face. "Put the girl down this instant! by my order!" She didn't seem like much of a threat, but she trained everyday still and she hadn't lost any of her strength during her pregnancy. She could fight if she absolutely needed to, but she wouldn't be as agile as she may need to be. The pregnant girl took a few more steps closer to the man. Everyone would wonder why she was sticking up for a feeder, but she didn't care anymore. She was going to protect this girl.

There was quite a buzz going on within the open grounds, but something that one who was able to see over a majority was an even more confusing gathering... Near the gates. Ivan watched as a trio had been exiting a vehicle, one of them a small child. Her entire demeanor was of fear, and as a child, he felt it was only appropriate. Who would send a child so young to a place that could become incredibly dangerous with the drop of a hat?

But the scene itself had changed almost too quickly. One moment, things seemed normal, and the next he had watched as the head of another Vampire family that he did in fact recognize had marched towards the small child and do something that had never sat right with him: Abuse. He could feel it. Ivan could feel as the beating heart in his chest seemed to pick up in tempo rapidly, flesh crawling and his vision tunneling. The sensations he was being bombarded with only became more unbearable as the rapid change in his pulse made it feel as if his veins were alight - flames coursing through his body. No matter what he would have told himself at this moment, whether it would be to keep his calm or wait and see what happens, he absolutely couldn't. There was no way that sitting by and waiting for the situation to evolve past what it had become would sit right with not only his morals, but the creed of his family.

Humility.
Honor.
Persistance.
Loyalty.

And goddamned Vigilance.

A sudden flare of mana coursed through Ivan's body, and he could feel his body becoming lighter - no: Faster. Stronger. He could feel all of the sensations before coming to a height that was screaming for action, and it was something he couldn't stop no matter how hard he tried. He was past the point of simply sitting and waiting. If he didn't do something now, the girl would be put into a state she may not recover from physically or even mentally. And what was with barking orders? Who did she believe she was that such a madman would listen?!

"Fuck this!" Ivan cursed through his teeth, and with that, promptly launched himself into the air.

(Assuming T1 combat regulations, beginning attack post - cannot initiate combat due to being first to create a legitimate attack upon another Player Character with intent to cause potentially lethal harm)

Ivan's body blurred forward, weaving through the throngs of individuals in his way. There was forty or fifty yards to cover, and though the crowd was slowing him, it didn't seem so from the students that were leaping or spinning out of his way - just barely dodging the enraged Russian. Thirty yards covered, and Ivan's ruck fell from his shoulder. Twenty yards and his hand slipped to his Dominator. Ten yards and he was drawing it from his holster.

With only five yards to go, Ivan slammed his mana - a manifestation of his will, through the Dominator, forcing it to open in order to accommodate the overload of magick, and pointing it directly towards the skull of the man who was holding the girl.

Ivan's visage entirely was contorted in utter fury. What before was simply a stoic mask and gentle blues were now lit by the aura of mana that was wafting from his skin and filtering through the fabric of his suit. What was slack jaw was now tensed and coiling with muscle. What was once pursed lips were now pearly white teeth bared. Though his body was shaking in utter rage, his hand never once wavered from the target oh so very close to him. Even as a vampire, with the reaction speed he was gaining by the inward casting that he was able to do, the man would be hard pressed to avoid a blast from the Dominator.

The specifications for the Dominator was an Arcane Focus for those who couldn't cast outside of their bodies unless they had direct contact with an object or another being, therefore making the Focus something similar to wands for the Wizards of Yore or the Mages of a time long forgotten. It was a Mana-directing ranged weapon complete with a suite of runes allowing it to channel and cast as if firing a projectile without the need for a physical round to be loaded into the weapon. Technically, since it was required for him to cast outside of his body, it was legal for him to have on campus, and as a Magister, he was already falling well into his role: Keep the peace.

"Enacting the regulations of supernaturals engaging with mundane beings set forth by the council of Allied Species," he began, reciting the laws that he had memorized. "You are within legal and medical parameters of bringing about undue harm to a human being. Garaenyx, place the child safely back onto the ground and back away, or as a Magister of the Timurovich Clan who has taken the oath to uphold the peace between Mundane and the Supernatural, I will be forced to neutralize you as a threat. You have five seconds, allotted by the Council of Allied Species, to comply, or I will be in my right to deal with you as I see fit within the law."

Truth be told, he was already considering pulling the trigger. He wanted - no, NEEDED to pull the trigger, but for this to be legal, considering this would be absolutely CATHARTIC!!!!

But no. The goddamn law said he had to wait for compliance.

But of course, the man had five seconds, and he knew the vampire had to be smart enough to count to five.

Ellie watched with wide red eyes as the man floated back to reveal that he was slightly transparent. He... he really was a spirit? The man extended his hand outward, inviting her to feel his spirirt-ness for herself. The girl reached out her own hand and found that it went straight through his. It was as if he was an illusion. A trick of the eyes. The girl's face changed to that of pure wonder. She through a punch at his face, but hit nothing. Cool... And, as if he read her mind, the man told her that he was buried in those clothing and that spirits didn't actually have fire... Ellie nodded to show she got what he said.

Questions raced through her head. How old was he? How'd he die? What did dying feel like? What did he feel so strongly that he'd stay on this world? Ellie decided not to ask any of those questions. Ellie opened her mouth to say something completely off topic, but then paused. The crowd had noticed something. She sensed it. The girl moved her ears around, hoping she'd pick up something. She caught some words...

Athena Salvaeus... defending... feeder...?

What?

Oh well, something juicy was happening and Ellie wanted to know all about it.

The girl looked back at the spirit man. Mr. Allister. Was it the guidance counselor's job to know what went on with the students? Ah, she was wasting time!

"Uh... wait a moment, please," Ellie said, before flying up a decent amount to see what was happening.

A good amount of people were looking at a small group of... vampires?... near the gates. Someone was choking a kid. Someone was yelling at the person choking the kid.

And...

Oh shit, a fight was happening! Ellie watched it all unfold with some twisted sense of excitement on her face. She could hear the attacking guy from where she was. He was furious.

Well, that made sense. Who chokes a little girl?

Ellie dropped back down and looked at Mr. A. She should probably tell him...

"Something's happening at the gate," She said, deciding to be vague. "I'm going to go watch. You can too, if you want."

She decided to wait for the spirit to tell her if he wanted to or not.

Perhaps it was strange, to see a student interacting with a teacher so casually, as if they were just another student at this school. There was really only one reason for why Ellie was acting this way: he didn't really give out authority vibes to her. Besides, it was probably for the better that Ellie was treating Mr. Allister as if she was trying to make a new friend.

The car ride, taking place in a wonderful pure black Tesla, was pleasant, calming even, though Evangeline couldn't help but dwell on the coming school year. It was foreign to her, that was, any type of school that was even remotely public. All lessons thus far had been done by private tutors... Her Father hadn't seemed interested in sending her to the school he dumped so much money into until just recently. Apparently there were other important figures going. That much didn't surprise her. The man wanted to use anything he could for his own needs, whether it be blood or something heinous.

The traffic made the ride take longer than it normally would have, which was by no means a problem in her mind. She wasn't in a rush to get out of the arching bows of the trees above. She had spent easily the last ten minutes watching them crawl past, blowing effortlessly in the wind. A little bit ago Evangeline had even asked if she could get out and walk the rest of the way... but of course the answer was a firm no. It was explained to her over and over again that the number of Purebloods attending the school, let alone herself attending, would increase the number of hunters that saw fit to act as feeder... blah blah blah. Overprotective, basically.

She wasn't worried about herself. She would, however, feel poorly for placing Hannah in any danger. So... car it was, and she'd just have to look longingly out the window like a forlorn bird. Hannah seemed far more excited to be going to this school, though she was certainly nervous as well she'd imagine. The idea of her getting some form of education other than that which she got by attending her private lessons with her was tantalizing. Evangeline simply worried that one of her "pedigree" wouldn't be as readily protected from hungry fangs. Her blood was like candy that was actually good for you... like a rich chocolate lava cake whose flavors altered slightly dependent on what she ate. Eva shook her head with a chuckle, gaining a glance from Hannah's curious eyes, she didn't need herself getting hungry when she likely wouldn't be able to have a bit to drink for a while.

The school finally approached, the glamour set up impressive to say the least. No doubt her Father expected her to learn things like that in time. She gave a little scoff-laugh at the number of people milling about. This would be... interesting. She sincerely hoped no one would try for her blood, or for that matter for Hannah's. They'd regret it readily should they try anything, she thought to herself with a small smile as she prepared to exit the vehicle. Hannah scooted to her side of the electric beauty so she could exit after her as the driver came around and opened the door.

"Lady Evangeline," he said, bowing his head slightly as he stepped to the side so they could pass. Evangeline smiled pleasantly at the man, who was a tall, blonde haired blue eyed vampire himself, as she stepped out and offered Hannah a hand. "Thank you, Orin. Please make sure to tell my Father though that next time I don't need to be escorted like fragile china," she said with a chuckle, knowing the message would never make its way to him. Poor Orin would probably be killed if he so much as explained to her Father something like that... but it was best to say it than to not, and have anyone think she didn't care about the way she had been delivered.

Of course, immediately, eyes were upon her slim form. She wasn't seen often, but her Father King Dagan was known better than any. The eyes screamed curiosity, being far too obvious about their gaze on both her and her hand which still clasped Hannah's. Eva didn't mind it, really. One way or another they'd learn that she'd not treat her personal feeder... her friend, with disrespect. This one had her protection, and though she knew that there'd be issues abound, she would make it abundantly clear so they learned sooner rather than later.

All the same, her icy blue eyes were distracted, too focused on what she may need to do and how she appeared to others. She didn't notice at first the ridiculousness that was unfolding nearby. That changed when Hannah noted it to her, just a few quiet words changing her focus entirely. Of course. Some idiot would try this on the very first day of school. Orientation. Not even classes. Another clearly had a magister's gun, leveled at his head. This would get messy if someone didn't step in. She decided she'd make herself known as well. Why not? A quick glance around showed that the large dragon fellow had his eye on the situation as well, and he looked as though he'd move in at a moment's notice. Good.

Calmly, she approached, her hand no longer on Hannah's, though she was following behind all the same. "Sir!" she called out, voice booming, "Do explain. Are you so weak of character that you have need to lift a child by the neck? I had not expected to see such disrespect so soon. You've got the attention of many individuals who all at the moment would likely have no qualms with seeing you without your head. So, before your head is lifted from your body, I do suggest you set her down and act civil. This is hardly the way to settle any sort of disagreement, and certainly not one that you have with a Pureblood. You'd not be doing such a thing, would you? I mean, that'd practically be suicide." Her voice was kind, almost butter in the way she drifted over her words, her traveled voice taking on hues of a British accent, but it was also extraordinarily firm. There'd hardly be any reason to have to look at the hair of herself or any other Pureblood to know what she was. Just the commanding nature of their kind's voice was enough.

Ash, having been about to approach the other, older feeder, was quietly looking around from her spot near the tent. It was due to this that she saw a man, a vampire, pick up a young girl by the throat. A girl even younger than Ash. Fear filled the twelve year old, yet she moved closer. She needed to be assured that this wasn’t common practice, that no one else agreed with how the man was holding the girl. It was potentially dangerous, entering a small crowd of vampires with a bleeding wrist, but the little girl was more important. Plus, the older feeder that Ash had wanted to talk to had moved also.

The gun being drawn frightened her. The fact that someone could very much have their head shot off in a moment was terrifying, and she whimpered softly. Focusing on the girl, however, she hoped she got free soon.

Astiel, as much as he wasn’t interacting with anyone, also reacted when he saw a vampire pick a girl up by the neck. Having been human once, for most of his life, and abused for a lot of it, the fact that this man was harming the girl sent anger through him. He growled, very much ready to step in if the gun another was holding didn’t work out.

Artemis, as much as she wanted to help the girl, forced herself to stay away. Well, she was actually staying away from everyone in the hopes that no one would catch onto her werepire scent. And walking into a crowd like that... someone was bound to notice that she wasn’t the normal vampire. But she did watch, from a distance, to make sure it turned out okay.

Kalean was almost overwhelmed by the sudden turn of the situation, Athena standing up for a feeder, a high ranking pureblood doing such was a shock to everyone around them, a man flew forward with a gun aimed promptly towards the male vampires head, the arrival of someone se could only vaguely remember being seen at Athena's estate once or twice and certainly a high ranking pureblood as well, a small girl coming forwards in the crowd and the dragon that she'd -somehow- just noticed keeping a watchful eye in a rather threatening manner over the whole situation, hands trembling she continued to watch everything wide eyed in a confusion, that was until a male vampire behind her shoved the girl forwards and knocked her off balance a little, managing to catch herself before looking back a little in terror, "Get out there you stupid feeder! It shouldn't be us to diffuse this sort of thing!?" he hissed, it was then some other around began to hush the boy, "Well I don't see you going out there either!" "Yeah, leave her alone." two females of a mostly undeterminable by look species pitched in, but by their way of addressing the best she could assume was werewolf, though still fearful she gave them a small and nervous smile in thanks.

Slowly coming to grips with her thoughts the girl did however take a step forwards closer to the situation despite one of the previous girls muttering for her to get back, "L-Let go….. Of her you filth….." she spoke, swallowing a little in her dry mouth, the words were something that instilled an uneasiness and yet relief in the girl, she'd wanted to say them so badly, but now having actually done it her trembling hands shook only more, gripping them tighter to try and make it stop, her eyes flickered around a little before eventually meeting those of the male himself, if it were up to her she would've lunged up there and grabbed him by the hand but unfortunately that both wasn't smart nor a plausible option, doing this was already more than enough to be worthy of punishment from Athena later, and even with her best attempt to squeeze comfortingly and side the largest patch of scars and bruises on her beaten arms it was more than obvious her condition wasn't the best.

Ash was horrified when she saw someone push the pregnant feeder . Her horror deepened into further fear when the other suddenly went to speak up to the vampire who was holding the other child. She was most certainly going to end up in trouble. Edging closer, she shivered as she reached for the pregnant girls other hand, tugging quietly. She didn’t want the girl to get in trouble, and she was sure those around them could deal with it. And speaking against vampires... that was something Feeders certainly could get in trouble for.

The drive was pleasant, but she couldn't take her mind off of the coming adventure. She was small and young... and a feeder... but she wanted to learn more than anything. She was lucky enough to be one of the feeders who would get to do just that. Heck... maybe they'd even let her learn some magic. That'd be wonderful. She sighed, rubbing her neck sleepily. She had to wake up earlier than normal to get here on time. They both did. The sun wasn't even all the way down yet. That made her wonder though... were there feeders here that would have to change their schedule to nighttime still? She imagined the Magisters would for the most part. Hmm... how weird that must be for them! For her, this was all she had ever known. Nighttime was her day, always had been, and always would be.

Another group of bridge-like trees passed, their branches disappearing over the roof of the car before they got left behind. Traffic was awful... but she was pretty happy that even here in the mountains they'd have a small town relatively close by. It'd be a bit of a walk or a drive depending on the situation, but it meant that it'd be easier to shop for things if they needed anything. She wasn't sure what the school would provide or wouldn't provide... and she wanted Lady Evangeline to be comfortable. Her big blue eyes looked over at her friend and master, lips curling into a pleasant smile.

The school was fast approaching by now, or at least as fast as the other cars would allow, and when they parked she scooched herself over to the right hand side of the sleek Tesla. Her hair was falling in front of her face despite the cute little brown bow that attempted to keep it back. Seeing Evangeline's hand all the same, she took it with a smile. That always got looks. Evangeline was so caring towards her, much moreso than your typical vampire and feeder relationship. They'd even had a small rumor go around that she was having sex with her. People always wanted there to be more to a story than there was.

Remembering that brought a silly little smile to her face as others watched on with curiosity gleaming in their eyes. Worst of all, at least in Hannah's opinion, was the fact that both of them smelled quite good. For Evangeline, that didn't matter a whole lot. She was tough. But... as far as she was aware, she wouldn't be rooming with her. She'd be in the human dorms. That meant time without being protected. She had been bred to feed, and that meant she was like a five course meal to the vamps. That was fine with her! It really was! But... she didn't really want others to feed on her.

Despite this status as such a delicious-smelling and tasting feeder, she didn't have any marks on her. Inexplicably, there wasn't a single bite mark visible. She was as pristine as a feeder virgin, yet that was obviously not the case. Storing all these thoughts aside, she focused her attention on a brewing fight in the distance. Her darling... supernaturally powerful... incredibly impressive master somehow didn't notice it at first. She huffed silently to herself and squeezed her hand a little, speaking up in a soft, innocent-sounding tone, "Lady Evangeline... there's something happening over there that you may want to intervene in..."

It was a quick matter of moving locations before Evangeline did her thing. Hannah had no part in it, nor did she want any. She hung back and watched, her head on a soft swivel as she made sure no one else would attempt to cause problems. Nervous energy was high right now, and the different species at a school like this never seemed to do well with that. She couldn't be sure how someone would react.

"Of course not! I wouldn't dare ask to shake hands unless permission was granted"
replied Gabriel playfully shaking his head as if he were a little kid. Gabriel took the sight of the young vampire memorizing every detail from his posture, his voice patterns, and even his sound of dislike for the other vampires. Everything was a key tool to use against him and every piece of information fitted perfectly together like a simple puzzle. "Matavar Calnaeros? Oh that sounds fancy" he said playfully. Gabriel already concluded that the man had not given him the exact information he wanted from his speech patterns when he had spoke. He was about to ask another question when a peculiar moment had ensued. The sudden mention of gaming made Gabriel's smile grow every so brightly. While he hadn't brought up the subject his thoughts had consisted of a number of different games making it quite obvious he was able to read his thoughts just as he had prepared for. "So you can read minds? That's so cool! I always wanted that power, but it'd be pretty awkward to hear someones lewd thoughts by sheer accident" he said laughing at his own joke. "I like tons of different games! First person shooters, RPGs, MMOs, and a ton of others! What about yourself? Maybe we can even team up online sometime!" he said practically yelling with such an excited tone it was almost embarrassing.

"Glad some have respect around here and thank you for understanding and not forcing the issue. Be glad you cannot," spoke Matavar in a surprisingly amicable tone. Usually Matavar didn't speak much to people, the past year had been learning to live with his scars and adjusting to his new life under father's guidance. And the one who had saved him, however unwillingly on Matavar's part, would always be his father and therefore hold the vampire's loyalty. The hybrid vampire took no notice of the crowd gathering by the gate. "Reading minds among other things isn't as fun as people make it out to be." He frowned, lifting a hand to rub at his temples...such as now when there were quite a bit of thoughts going on about the situation and heightened emotions...some curious and some amused, some thoughts saying what was happening was what the humans deserved and others that couldn't believe there were vampires, let alone pure bloods sticking up for food, it was a hassle attempting to tune everything out. The Calnaeros-Levsea heir's face twisted into a murderous scowl as he was subjected to some of the comments on the thoughts of some of the vampires.

The human, Gabriel, did seem to brighten up at the mention of games. "Sometimes I wish they'd die," he growled out, using his other hand to wave around at the people around them. This human couldn't know of the issues he had with the purebloods, father was fine as was his house. It was the other purebloods he had issues with. He quietly listened to the talk of games that Gabriel mentioned he enjoyed playing before dropping his backpack and unzipping the front pocket again. Pulling out a post it note pad and a pen he scribbled down z4anarchy on the top sheet before pulling it off and slipping the stuff back into the front picket. Standing once more, he held the slip of paper out for Gabriel to take. "That's my id I use for gaming...whether through console or online...don't suppose this place has a lounge area at all or even an arcade. Seems to be going out of style on the arcade front." Matavar frowned, father's cousin had said they were all the rage in the 80s. "I do RPG, some MMOs like World of Warcraft, and first person shooter games mostly...sometimes car racing which is mostly Need for Speed franchise. Call of Duty's fun but can be a challenge, particularly that Call of Duty Infinite Warfare...I can't even get past the first level. Mortal Kombat's a good one in my opinion...anything where i can kill and cause bodily harm...with a good storyline I enjoy. Some games though, I play them and then they're a disappointment, despite what the trailers on television say...like Star Wars Battlefront. No story or overall plot." ZiggyZig ZiggyZig

Abigail Tyro

“I am going to murder him! This is the third time this month he’s gone off somewhere without telling anyone. Oh I swear when I get my hands on the little-” said petite white haired woman who proceeded to make a strangling motion pretending she was choking the life out of her little brother. In truth the twins were suppose to walk to school together as ordered by there mother, but of course Gabriel being how he was decided to leave before anyone had even woke up. Coming to the schools gate she found herself groaning in sheer agitation as she began cursing under her breath. With her brother already stressing her out she had been hoping that the vampires were already attempting to tear out each other's throats. Abigail had a love for violence especially when vampires did it among themselves. Plus she might go easy on her brother if she entertained enough. For his sake that is. She began to massage her face with the tips of her fingers before placing a innocent looking smile across her face. Her serious attitude and annoyance turned to that of innocence and shyness. Her fair complexion was complimented by her perfected acting skills as she gave off a friendly aura as she waved to a couple of vampires. Her piercing blue eyes practically shot through their hearts of the male vampires as her short beautiful white hair dangled down to her shoulders. They could only deliver a small wave before attempting to cover their reddened embarrassed faces. Abigail was mentally laughing at them finding their embarrassed faces to be quite pathetic taking sheer joy out of making them uncomfortable. Unlike her brother Abigail was incredibly sadistic taking joy out of humiliating both enemies and allies alike.

Of course the need for self control was desired among hunters to keep back their interest in case of mind readers and other annoying ways of accessing one's thoughts. Her mind practically flooded with manga, cute boys from all her favorite bands, and the playful "hug" she would be delivering around her brother's neck. As she continued walking around the school grounds a couple of boys had certainly caught her attention. One's who seemed incredibly weak minded and easily manipulated, but as of now they were simply future targets as the punishment of her dear brother was still priority. In her view came a young female feeder who seemed to be next to her vampire master. From her outfit and looks she seemed to be a personal feeder, but oddly enough she didn't seem to possess any bite marks around her neck. Not far away from the young feeder lied an incredibly large group of people as if surrounding a bunch of ruffians that were about to slug it out. Approaching the girl Abigail gave a bright smile followed by her awkwardly placing her head close to her neck. She had practically ignored the vampire next to her but took several mental notes about her looks and posture. And from what she could tell they seemed awfully close. Perhaps a future hostage for when the hunt began. She squinted her eyes practically inches from the young females neck. 'As I thought, no marks. Must be a new feeder' she thought to herself before moving taking her eyes off her neck to meet the gaze of the young female. "Ello there. Sorry for that I thought I saw something on your neck. My mistake" she said playfully adding a friendly giggle to her comment. "Please excuse my sudden rudeness. Allow me to introduce myself! Abigail Tyro at your service! Also I love your hair it looks so pretty" she said complimenting the young woman attempting to win her interest through flattery. "Do you by chance know what's going on in that crowd over there? It seems dangerous and I can't find my brother so I'm a bit worried" she said curiously with a hint of concern in her voice as she kept solid eye contact with the young female.

Silas and Sebastian finally approached the gates, quite a bit later than everyone else who had already arrived. They had already been running late, no one’s fault but their own, but the traffic that was leading up to the academy didn’t help their case much either; neither were concerned, however, they were always running late. The two stepped out of their father’s car as they arrived, Silas waiting for Sebastian to exit and place his hand upon his arm before walking through the gates and to the school that they would call home for the next several months. It seemed like, already, there was quite a commotion happening inside of the school grounds. Near the entrance gates, a boy stood holding a young girl up by her throat. Onlookers stood nearby- some watching passively, while others took a more aggressive stance in defending the girl. Silas found it disappointing that he hadn’t been there sooner to take part, or perhaps instigate the ordeal, but decided tomorrow was always another day. And perhaps surveying the area first would do him better than raising Cain in an unfamiliar territory.

“Glrcpcqrgle.” He spoke. The word, if one could call it that, that came out of his mouth sounded no more than a guttural babble, almost comical, as if it were coming a toddler testing out their tongue for the first time. However strange the noises sounded to outsiders listening in, the words held true meaning for the twins speaking them; a code of sorts they’d developed as mere toddlers themselves. “Glbccb.” Sebastian responded in turn. There was no strict rules for the words; just a fluid sound of syllables held together by common meaning.

More noise rose up from the crowd near the gates, sounding a bit more aggressive this time with raised voices and threats, but neither twin turned around to watch. Instead, they paid mind to the announcement being made every few minutes or so, instructing them to find their corresponding booth for information regarding housing and classes. Silas nodded in a random direction and the two took off, deciding to take the long way to their designated booth so they could squeeze in some people watching time; they, of course, wanted to see exactly who they had to play with.

“Pregnant vampires, dragons, and werewolves,” Silas voiced after a moment, his eyes raking over his surroundings and noting the creatures he saw. “Mf kw.” Sebastian responded, and the two shared a quiet chuckle as they continued their walk, arm in arm.
