Wow! You sure do know a lot about grounder. Can you teach me a bit? I'd love to become more involved! I'll change itBonjour! I'd just thought I'd post to say that I'm super excited to start this role-play, and to remember the proper name for the woods clan isn't 'trikru', it's trigedakru. Trikru isn't a noun; it's referring to a literal group of trees with pinecone children. Trigeda is what the woods people are ( i.e. Indra, Lexa, Niylah, et cœtera ) ; trigedakru refers to the clan as a whole.
Sankru → Sangedakru.
Floukru → Floudonkru.
It's low-key ... my biggest pet peeve when the show stinks at continuity and gets the trigedasleng wrong. :')
Trigedasleng is actually very easy to learn! The only thing that bothers me is inconsistency on the show. In season 2 Indra literally refers to herself and her people as Trigeda, and then suddenly in season 3 ( lmao worst thing in history ) she says Trikru. So I did some research and it's so wrong.Wow! Maybe sometimes they are talking about their actual clan and sometimes they are talking about being born from the trees? I don't know maybe.Trigedasleng is actually very easy to learn! In season four when Roan spoke to the people of Polis and declared Lexa as the 'last true heda' and called her 'Lexa kom Trikru' I literally died. The trigedasleng version of her name is 'Leksa kom Trigedakru', and the gonasleng version is 'Lexa of the Woods Clan' not the crazy and wrong combination of the two. That's like saying a sentence in Spanish and then finishing it in French. :'(
