**HOT TAKE** I used to really dislike the BOTW ZeLink ship. And I think a small part of me never got over my burning hatred for that ship, but a larger part of me has come to like it (kinda-) or perhaps just respect and accept it.

For one, I didn't like the way Zelda treated Link at all. To be so rude to Link just because he was doing what he was ordered to do (WHICH HE IS SUPPOSED TO DO, HE'S A FREAKING KNIGHT, HE'S SUPPOSED TO TAKE ORDERS) was immediately a major turn-off for me. And okay, I understand she wants to be independent or whatever, but still. And I also understand that Zelda was already on-edge because destiny, her powers, etc. But for some reason, a small part of me never forgave her. Instead of shipping ZeLink, I was a hardcore PayaLink shipper. Don't ask me why, because I still don't know. I guess upon reading Paya's diary and how flustered she was around Link, and how much she admired him, that made my heart melt. I still have sooooo much art of them together that I drew back in the day.

And I know! It reminded me of Wind Waker with its cute ass aesthetic. Legend will always be adorable in my eyes.

She told Link that SHE KNEW that the only person that Link would go through the cloud barrier for was HER! She straight up MANIPULATED him! I will NEVER ship SS ZeLink! N E V E R.

I miss Mipha tbh, she and Sidon were so cute together.

I luv Paya, and still do. I also love Impa, although I always have ever since I got into LOZ.
