GG completely didn't expect any attack from her opponent to be able to match her Magical Bears' speed. But there it is, the gigantic ball that kept getting bigger and bigger was coming at her with ridiculous velocity. If the bears weren't carrying any magical girls, then they could achieve a greater speed enough to dodge such attack with ease. However, there is a limit in how much G-force a human body could take before breaking apart. Despite not knowing the details, GG was told about the maximum flying speed she was allowed to use while carrying an ordinary person or a magical girl in their civilian form like the currently captured Mitsuba, and that number would never be fast enough to escape from the circular disaster that was approaching.

When the ball got closer to her, GG clicked her tongue as she commanded a nearby bear to fly closer to her and emit a bright light. A blast occurred, propelling both her and Mitsuba out of the rolling ball's path. It's hot! Having received minor damage from her own explosive for the first time ever since she obtained this power, GG gritted her teeth and looked at Mitsuba. If there wasn't an order, then GG might have temporarily abandoned this luggage and simply had a few number of bears kept watching over her. But seemed like 008 had foreseen that thought when she issued the order. There was indeed no risk of those few bears getting defeated and Mitsuba being rescued by the Rogues. But because of that, fighting Zoe became much harder, even with escaping as an objective.

GG then heard a familiar voice. "You caught me in the blast radius of your attack, Grizzly. So I lost Scarlet." It's Swallowtail. GG should be glad to finally see her ally, but all she did was looking away with a mixed feelings. Being glad in this situation... isn't that equal to admitting she truly need a help and not forced to cooperate by the order? Ridiculous!! GG snapped at her own thought. If only that woman had authorized the use of GGEZ [100], then she would never need to escape in the first place. "Explain the situation, please." GG tried to suppress her anger and uphold the image of the squad leader. Well, tried...

"I got this bitch!" GG angrily roared and violently pulled the long hair of Mitsuba who was carried by the bears floating nearby. "And then that goddamn mochi happened to be dumb enough to challenge me!!" Pointing her finger at the ball that was forced to make a turn thanks to her evasive maneuver and was about to charge into them all once again, GG continued. "But for some reason that bitch is stupidly durable!! Even my GGEZ earlier couldn't—" "Apparently, Gigapuddin is hiding a much higher Sync ratio than her recorded value." Kuma interrupted "Which means she has far better control of her ability than you guys know. It's true that Gigapuddin had taken GGEZ [70] head on and it's still not enough to—" "Not enough my ass!! If I get serious then that fucker will be gone in an instant!!!" GG yelled in childish anger. "And that's the situation." Kuma still calmly talked to the magical girl whom he believe to be more sensible and reliable. "If you don't hurry and do something about it, this girl will certainly 'get serious' and use that GGEZ [100], her most powerful attack. And that's definitely not a good thing for us."

'By using the elastic power of my mochi, along with its superb stickiness...'

The Mass of the enlarged ball reshaped quickly, forming out a massize arm which it caught itself by digging into the ground just as it reached a horizontally parallel position to GG and swallowtail.

'I'LL MAKE SURE THAT EVASION ISN'T POSSIBLE!'

'IMPROVISED SUPER MOVE: MOCHI ROLLING BIG BANG, PIVOT ATTACK!'

She began to use the force of the ball to fling itself into the air by creating a massive string of mochi extending out from the base of the arm, allowing a good 4/5 of her coagulated mass to travel up and reform into the rest of her humanoid form, spinning wildly and twisting the large elastic cord, the twists of which moved down for later use. It used the residual elastic force to then begin an angled decent aimed directly at GG, Kuma and Swallowtail. It's now 4 story tall leg aimed straight down at GG.

An explosion went off in one of Dark Site's testing facilities, as a magical girl with silver hair with animal-like features as she was running along with three other girls.

"Come on! Hurry we're Almost there!"

Suddenly armed guards approached with tranquilizers and electro-staffs with the intent to detain them and forced them to be locked up. Suddenly a girl dressed in a Thief-like attire welding a scythe charged towards them, and her scythe glowed as she swung it creating blades of fire that were fired at them, and on contact, they exploded knocking them back.

"Don't stop! Me and beast will take them out, Merlin give me and Beast some shielding!! " the girl called out. "Roger that Grimm," Beast affirmed.

The Mage-themed magical girl nodded as she created a shield of light blocking the line of fire protecting her and Beast from attack temporarily. The monster-themed magical girl charged toward them, the Guards started firing bullets at her only for them to deflect off of her shield. She Roared angrily, as she charged at them like a wild beast (Hence her name), and suddenly fought one of the guards haphazardly only ending in knocking him out, and went on to the next one until several of them were unconscious with at least some broken bones in the process.

Suddenly, a Guard fired a missile launcher at her with her noticing at the last second and suddenly a sword that was shot from somewhere cut the missile into two. and a magical boy with long hair with a mischievous look on his face turned towards her and bowed, as he was dressed in armor. Beast rolled her eyes.

"You are such a showoff, Paladin,"Beast complained.

"Well I had to help you and show off my cool magical abilities."Paladin said cheekily."Also, you owe me." Added Paladin.

She sighed, as the group suddenly reform back together as the tranquilizer darts were suddenly fired with actual bullets and missiles launched."I guess detain didn't work, They're bent on killing us!"Merlin exclaimed. Beast sighed."Like that wasn't obvious!" Beast sarcastically retorted. "I have to agree with furry over here."Paladin said. Beast shot daggers at Paladin."I am not a furry!
She exclaimed angrily.

"We're almost there, So can you guys please not argue right now!" Grimm snapped. They all quieted down as they rushed near the exit of Dark site and they would finally be free. But Fate had other plans, as of suddenly a blast of electrical energy fired at Paladin shocking him, as he screamed in pain. "Paladin!" She exclaimed. Merlin went to pick him up only for a bolt of lighting to be struck near her as she leaped back in fear, They all looked up to see, a Magical gire clad in yellow, looking like someone struck her by lighting as she smirked with electricity crackling in her hands.

"Well, Well, Well if it isn't one of the escapees! Team Failures."She said teasingly. Beast claws clenched into fists as she was getting angry at this girl."If you're trying to bring us back that'll be a no, Thunderbolt."Grimm spoke bravely. She leaped off of the tree, that she was standing on and smiled."No, I'm here to kill you all, I am apart of the Extermination Squad."She spoken. Suddenly, she pointed to Merlin as Grimm look afraid.

"Run!!!!"

Without being told twice, all of them ran as fast as they could, with Merlin picking up the unconscious Paladin as it was a little hard for her to carry a teenager in armor. Beast wanted to fight, But she didn't want to get killed by the Extermination Squad. Suddenly a Shot ranged out and Merlin collapsed, causing the both of them to stop to see blood flooding out from underneath her suddenly a bolt of lighting shocked Paladin awake as he and the mage-themed magical girl screamed in pain until he was nothing but a charred/dead magical human duo."No! Merlin! Paladin" Grimm said.

"You know what, Screw running."She grumbled. Grimm noticed."Wait beast what are you doing?!"Grimm asked shocked. She charged towards Shockwave angrily as the latter dodged her braid stinger and pulled her braid causing her to fall before, Delivering a Knee kick to her face and knocking her back a bit. Shockwave sighed."I thought the fabled beast was stronger than this, But it isn't."She said teasingly. Beast was angry."Shut it."Beast spoke. This only made her angrier as she charged with her fist ready to punch her, but Shockwave only dodged before firing a bolt of lightning searing as it hurts very badly causing her to scream, as she collapsed, Beats would've died If it wasn't for an ally literally cleaving Shockwave's body in two at an Instant.

Grimm smiled over the dead body of shockwave."Well, I think she's in 'Pieces'."Grimm joked. Beast rolled her eyes in annoyance. "You seriously need to stop to the jokes."She said. Beast looked at the dead bodies of Merlin and Paladin."So we're the only two left."She spoke. Grimm nodded sadly."I guess so."She said. They both were about to turn away from this scene, before a Knive zoomed aimed at beast and Grimm noticed as she pushed her out of the way striking her in the back."Gak!"She exclaimed.

"Grimm!" She caught her before she fell, As she threw her scythe at the assailant which was behind another tree, where he was impaled by it and he died. "Come on, we gotta get out of here."she said. She carried her ally as they both left Dark Site, once they were out of the range both detransformed to their normal selves.

Grimm or Elizabeth Rose coughed up blood, as Alexis set her down with a worried expression."Guess this is the end of the line for me." She said weakly. Alexis was upset, as tears welled up in her eyes."Elizabeth! You can't die!" She urged. Elizabeth coughed up more blood as some leaked out of her mouth."I... am... *Coughs* ...Going ... to ... Die."She said weakly. Alexis looked at her seeing that Elizabeth's life force is fading quickly, as she clinched Elizabeth's hand quite upset, knowing it was a fatal hit."I don't wanna lose you..."She said sadly.

"I.. Know... But Promise... me... You'll... destroy... Dark... Site." She said weakly, with a small smile forming on her face. "I Promise."She said. Elizabeth weakly brushed some of her hair aside with a soft expression."You.. Always... was... the... Best...... friend, I've ever had" Her hand fell down as her red eyes had no light reflecting them indicating she was dead. Alexis started crying, upset, But suddenly rose up and pulled her eyelids down as the silver-haired rose.

"And I'll keep that definite promise."

She started walking off away from her dead ally's body, She now knew that she was alone.

Ha...what a mess she's gotten herself into.

On one hand, Grizzly was losing her mind, brain deteriorating at impressively depressing speeds into a bear that had inhaled too much cocaine. On the other hand, there was what she had to assume was Gigapudding, who seemed to have decided to go all-in on this singular encounter and reveal every card that she had hidden during their first fight and capture, with the same lack of concern that Grizzly herself showed.

And of course, Swallowtail didn't have three hands, but Cinderella was going on a screed about something completely insane too. It was a lot of yelling, really. If she was going to get told by an Executive to juggle Adonis's problems after this, she was definitely going to just put the world on mute.

But a job was a job, and an Executive, for now, was an Executive.

Now, what mattered here?

Was it defeating Gigapudding? Was it capturing Cinderella?

No, it was ensuring that the Dark Site didn't lose their strongest magical girl to a fight as inconsequential as this, under circumstances so shameful as this.

"Understand that I'm doing you a favor."

Words that rang clearly for all those present.

Swallowtail snapped her fingers, and the Silence consumed them all.

Within it, Grizzly's automatons lost their connection to her, becoming inert creations that only operated on their previous commands. Within it, Gigapudding's senses, rooted in magic rather than in a human's nerves, disappeared entirely. Within it, Cinderella's words were reduced to unstable expressions, as Swallowtail pulled the bears away from her and then...allowed her to fall.

The dead-weight was gone, though the hammer-blow descended still. But a four-story tall leg did not mean a four-story long foot. Taking proportions into consideration, one would best be served evading laterally. So Swallowtail did, kicking off one of the floating bears and dragging a blissfully silent Grizzly with her. Her bears were fast. Fast enough to rival Vanguard and Rose. But that was simply because speed wasn't their specialty.

Behind them, the hammer of the giants struck without a sound. Behind them, the fate of Cinderella became unknown.

And in the aftermath, Silence faded away, allowing the world once more to hear the aftereffects of that meaningless destruction.

Swallowtail looked at Grizzly, the two of them a good distance away from that fight. The words she said next were simple.

"Next time you do something like this, keep the captured Rogue separate from yourself and make your pursuer choose. Please."

Grizzly had the resources to become an absolute monstrosity, a magical girl that could easily raze a country to the ground. In truth, she should have never been sent on a mission that required such a delicate touch as this, especially when she was liable to lose her shit like this. And, as for the matter of Cinderella and Gigapudding...

"Kuma, do me a favor. Tell the Executive that Gigapudding has exhibited magnitudes of power beyond what she's demonstrated back in the Dark Site. Our first capture of her was likely a fluke, and we'll need a specialized team to do this safely in the future, unless she's to be upgraded to a Kill-On-Sight target. As well, it would be good to have Adonis to reconvene with us now. No lasting damage was dealt to Gigapudding, so she's likely still combat-capable, which presents a threat to any solitary magical girl." Her lips quirked. "Or boy."

The impact of the colliding foot of the now dead-weight of mochi and environmental debris, which immediately fully densified into a hardened form like a massive statue due to the sudden blindness that the portion of Zoe's body, immediately in the range of the special ability suffered, crashed down causing the ground around it to ripple from the impact. The inability to sustain the magical nature of the adhesion however, would cause the body to explode into a large mass of debris and rubble frags. Evidently The densified and hardened form being made extremely brittle by the lack of control over it that Zoe was now afflicted by as to turn it into a crashing, sort of fragmentation bomb, without the pyrotechnical attributes, instead working off of a combination of sheer kinetic impact and equilateral shockwaves.

Improvising on the spot, Zoe liquified the extended bungee string extending from the distanced arm immediately in the middle, causing it to collapse into harmless low quality mochi goop.

The Detached arm remained un-effected by swallow's ability, before reducing its adhesion, and then sagging down in a pile of mostly-liquefied Mochi goop.

There was a brief moment of silence. before a body emerged from the half liquid goop, Zoe, who's body was covered in glowing yellow veins, which quickly settled down as she returned to her Magical Girl Non-Mochi form. Coughing up mochi. Before her form emitted a bright light and she unfused from her magidrive and her partner.

"Ahh... Kill me now Pyuru... My body... It feels like my skin wants to melt off..."She moaned out painfully, the nature of the giant pile of sludge's distance allowing her to lean back for just a moment safely.

"Look on the bright side! At least now we know that that Swallowtail girl can effect you while transformed!" Pyuru responded, speaking directly to Zoe while bending, and balancing on its tip.

"You mean while I'm in my magical girl form?" Zoe asks, both sweating and drooling out Mochi due to overexposure due to her mana-source.

"No, but I'll explain that later. Right now, I need you to pick me up and get us outta here, the direct path away from our opponents is that-away!" Pyuru says, pointing directly in the opposite direction of GG and Swallowtail.

"Fitting that a girl named Swallow would be who proves to be my undoing." Zoe says.

"Oh! Hardly! I didn't even think of cutting off and hardening the body of the Giga-Gigantor to increase the mass, and therefore force of the hit. We should really be thanking her!" Pyuru says.

"...Okay..." Zoe says, slowly sitting up. She sniffles, sucking some of the remaining mochi into her nose, which was, gruesomely, part of her body, likely set to reform into whatever part of her it was whenever it re-entered her sinuses.

"Let's... Go..." Zoe sighs, picking up Pyuru, hoisting him over their shoulder and then moving away.

For now. She had a chance at escape, and she had done some serious damage to one of the Dark Site's heaviest hitters it seemed.

Repairer
Repairer's 'Workshop' | "I will thank you on behalf of everyone for your years of excellent service."

When Hildred told Castaigne that he would alleviate somewhat the Dark Site's suspicion of him by continuing to do their 'jobs' where he was able, he hadn't expected his latest 'request' from Mr.Zero to be... as cathartic and productive for him as they were.

So imagine the Repairer's surprise when instead of sending personnel to come and fix the damn door, they'd send him a new batch of new 'faulty products' instead. And, on top of that, the latest batch of 'faulty products' sent to him were not magical girls who had overstepped too much and fallen, but a bunch of Dark Site executives, delivered right to the 'repair room' with a very explicit set of 'special instructions' from the 'big man' himself on how they should meet their ends. Though annoyed that the sadistic devil of a man was practically using him as a torturer at this point, Repairer would never say no to prodding around an executive's head, let alone a whole batch of them, some even with single-digit ranks.

Needless to say, the Repairer played his part of torturer well, and took his sweet time.

And, much like a beast playing with their prey-to-be-food, he left the best to last.

"How, sweet Queen!" The Repairer exclaims with cheer as he tears off the brown bag off the head of his latest, and final victim. "How do you do, pretty lady?" To most, his exotic greetings would just be chalked up to eccentricity, but in reality, the Repairer was mocking his victim, mimicking that blasted Mr.Zero's manner of speech to incite as many messy emotions into his subject as possible.

"Repairer-!" The captive woman spat at Hildred's feet, tone laced with such a lethal dose of venom that it could kill from being in the presence of the room, had it not been metaphorical.

"003. Oh, my bad. Former 003," the Repairer promptly taunts back, taking annoyed note of the unpleasant spitball that had landed right onto his otherwise pristine and polished shoe. Impressive she could even muster the mucus to spit, he hadn't bothered giving her food or water for the past four days. Granted, he did at the very least ensure his prisoner wouldn't just die on him, by haphazardly jamming various drip infusions into her arm. He would claim that he knew absolutely nothing of what he had been jabbing into her arm, but that would be a complete and utter lie. He knew exactly what he was doing, and had been pumping the woman full of various drugs that prevented her from ever being graced by a moment of respite; sensory enhancing drugs so that she could better savor the sounds and senses as her former, incompetent 'colleagues' met their demises in all forms of twisted, creative ways, as well as just enough medical infusions and such to keep her alive. To dangle a tiny, loose thread of hope before her eyes so that she would rather gasp blindly at that thread of hope than to follow through with some certain... impulsive ideas like biting off her own tongue. "How you despised my existence. Assigning me all manner of mundane tasks, poking your nose where you didn't belong. Now look where we're at." Though the Repairer donned his signature mask that hid his face from those around him, the huge smile behind the mask was painfully obvious.

"You've only come to gloat, haven't you?"

"That's part of it," replies the Repairer. "But, you know me well enough. I've left you last for a good reason."

Of course there was a reason. The Repairer was never one to make decisions based on whim. There was absolutely a reason that she had been left to disappear at his hands last.

"... You want something from me."

"You're fast to catch on. Good. I'll need you to listen carefully."

She always knew this uncontrollable 'Magical Girl' had their own grand schemes. It damaged the former executive's pride to no end to have become but a pawn on their chessboard, but that was soon to change. What was important was finding a path out of the current predicament. Survive. Power could be regained. Positions could be worked back towards. And, knowing Mr.Zero, this current situation may have very well been his way of giving her a 'chance at redemption'. She feigns compliance as the Repairer leans close to her ear, enough to feel the cold air emanating from the mysterious black mask.

"Ḭ̵͕̬̿͝ͅä̴̢̧̙̰̱͍̬͈̱̏̍̄̈̓͘͜ͅͅ."

What? She couldn't understand the words he was whispering. What she also didn't comprehend, was the fact that blood had begun to trickle out of her various orifices.

"H̷̨̛̙̣͔͗̐͊̾̈͑́̑̽͒͛̕͝ǎ̵̼͍̖͊̅̿̅͑s̷̳̮͉͖͓̝̩̼̈̋́̄̅͊̍̀̊̿͠͝t̷͔͔̱̗̰̰͈̟̫̞̥̬̻̆̂á̵̤̺͍̞̠̩͉̭̆̓̉̃̌̓̕."

As the blood trickled down and began to drip onto her body, she opened her mouth to speak in shock.

"Wh-mph-"

Too late.
Her speech had long been impeded as fluids began to gush out between her lips as well. As the Repairer continued to utter these unintelligible syllables into her ear, the former 003 felt her consciousness and complex thought drain. At this rate, she was going to- going to...

What was she going to do again?
The voice - its words, they were... soothing? Why was she terrified in the first place? Who was she? Did it matter? Tired. She wanted to rest.

It would be fine, right? To just,

close her

eyes and just
rest?
"F-fuck." As soon as his 'subject' had finally slumped over, lifeless, Repairer also allowed himself to fall backward, crashing into the ground. An intense wave of nausea overcomes him as he goes from his usual, collected stance to writhing on the ground, struggling to find footing. Hands shaky, he props himself back to his feet and fumbles around his coat, struggling to produce a bottle of pills. The mask drops to the ground, clattering whilst the pills shake in their bottle as the Repairer brings it up to his lips and just dry swallows about a dozen of them.

They take a moment to work. The Repairer rests against the wall as his breathing stabilizes, and the extreme symptoms of MP exhaustion subside, to some degree. They were drugs produced by the Dark Site, specifically for Magical Girls who accidentally exhaust too much MP at once. It was a potent mix of painkillers, stimulants, and to be honest, Hildred wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if there were hard narcotics mixed in there as well. He wasn't given much time to orient himself, though, and as if right on cue, Hildred's head would start throbbing again as his 'partner's' voice floods his mind.

"Hildred. Situation's changed. Vanguard split with the remaining rogues. She is alone in the city. We are not far."

Castaigne didn't need to say it outright, Hildred understood the underlying message well enough.

"I'll be there."

He takes one glance at the withered corpse that stained his floor, before deciding that the mess was better off left to the 'retrievers' to clean up.

Hildred / Castaigne
Abandoned Store | "I do hope I'm not interrupting anything." "Your fabricated sincerity is disgusting."

The creature known as Castaigne played their part well enough, for the most part. They probably overdid things a little, but granted that their partner had specifically instructed for the creature to 'use its own judgment', it wasn't as if Hildred could voice much of a complaint. The end result was there; Vanguard had shaken off the Dark Site's pursuit, and set to rendezvous with the remaining rogues.

Ok, that part wasn't exactly according to plan. Ideally, all of them should be present, but the current situation might be a good thing. Especially when one of the rogues, 'Twinkle', seemed to have a lot more going on beneath the surface. Especially so for a being such as Castaigne who could literally hear the transmissions loud as day. Sometimes, he wondered what it sounded like from a human's perspective. The world must be so much more tranquil, without a million different transmission waves bombarding them.

After arriving at what seemed to an abandoned three-storey store and watching Vanguard set up an elaborate network of makeshift alarms, Castaigne deemed the situation safe enough to detach from his 'host'. It was a disgusting feeling, having a mind-parasite loosen its tendrils from one's mind. Piercing migraine, nausea as an enhanced world of entirely heightened senses is suddenly cut off, and most importantly, a deep mental link being slowly severed and pulled away. It was only a moment's agony, however, Castaigne wasn't so inexperienced as to leave a host permanently damaged after an integration. Especially not a subject as valuable as Vanguard.

Though its current task was completed, it didn't make its exit just yet, though. It slithers through the shadows, traversing its way down the dilapidated first storey to meet with their 'partner', who had been more or less filled in on the current state of affairs. This brought the creature some relief - it was tiresome after all, to carry out an elaborate plan as an incomplete being. But, with Hildred and Castaigne reunited, it was the 'Repairer's' turn to take the stage.

"Good work," Hildred thanks Castaigne as he notices the leering mass of eyes within the shadows, behind a crumbling set of stairs. As Hildred approaches, the creature rapidly slithers out from beneath the shadows, and takes its place directly beneath Hildred. "I presume they are on the second level?"

"Yes. Be careful of the stairwell. It is rigged with tripwires." An impressive makeshift alarm system. If one were to be careless, it would have been hilariously easy to trip the wires and alert the magical girl upstairs of an intruder. Thankfully, Hildred's observational skills weren't so poor as to be unable to notice a makeshift tripwire in spite of plenty warnings. "Your magical energy is... chaotic. Did you use that?" Castaigne quickly adds on upon noticing his partner's less-than-ideal condition.

"Yes. No need for concern, it's not enough to hinder me at the moment," replies Hildred as he begins to carefully ascend the stairwell. His response doesn't seem to alleviate the creature's concerns, though.

"I warned you to use it sparingly."

"Have to test it every once in a blue moon to see if it still works."

"As I have already informed you, once imprinted, it remains."

"I'll hear your lecture later."

Hildred swiftly dismisses the topic as he ascends the last stair, finding himself in a far less run-down second level. Now, where was the magical girl?

"Hey! Over here!"

There she was
. Hildred makes his way toward the source of the voice. As a result of his signature cognitive filter cast over himself, neither magical girls would register Hildred's presence as he approached them, until Hildred himself dropped the spell as he approached the crumbling doorframe. At this point, Castaigne darts out of Hildred's shadow, climbing across the walls and into the room to announce their presence. Though, to an outside observer, the sight would be quite unsettling as dozens of crimson red eyes slither into the room, covering the walls until innumerable eyes were plastered over every wall and ceiling of the room. The creature's dark red irises twitch for but a moment, before they all focus on the two subjects in the room. Staring, unblinking. "We are here," the creature announces, though at this point, the unidentified young man standing at the door was possibly the least 'eye'-catching thing present.

"Christ, Castaigne, no need for such theatrics," Hildred scolds the creature, tapping his cane against the walls as his way to signaling Castaigne to 'cut it off'. The creature swiftly responds as the eyes all over the room seem to shrink, and all dive into the shadow of the new arrival. Dozens of glaring eyes in the ground are still fixated upon the two other magical girls, but at least the stares weren't coming from all directions, all over the walls and ceiling. "Sorry, Castaigne's a bit of a dunce when it comes to social awareness, " Hildred apologizes on behalf of his partner's strange behavior whilst smiling. "Pleased to meet you."

Sibylla let out a sigh as the girl explained she knew little about the escapees in her group. She wasn't disappointed at all...just worried. It hadn't been more than half an hour since that explosion, but the fact that neither Wingy nor Julia had turned up only made the situation more pressing, more dire. They had bought themselves a day more, if that. But even if 50% or more of Dark Site's magical soldiers had fled in the recent spate of breakouts, it wouldn't mean much if the groups had split enough to be picked off bit by bit, recaptured and placed back under control...or worse, "neutralized" on the spot.

If they didn't end up grouping together strongly, they couldn't survive. Let alone mount a proper resistance to the Dark Site, a notion that seemed like a distant dream, a possible end to the nightmare. She thought about Wolf Team. Suzuran and Tenshi...had they escaped as well? Regained their own wills? Or would she have to face them down one day...?

"It's okay." Sibylla murmured to Scarlet. "But if any more don't turn up...we have to go look for them." She glanced down at the girl. She seemed shaken, but her injuries appeared to be mostly mental. "Are you hurt? I...I could use the backup. What did...they give you? I mean, what can you do-"

Her questioning was interrupted by a faint sensation that had become familiar. The same "thing", H'aaztre.

The presence that had so helpfully invaded her mind and saved her life earlier in the morning. Even without activating her own ability, she sensed it a bit sooner than it made itself known, as if their integration had granted her a connection, even one that was barely useful at this stage.

A bolt of lightning ran down her spine as the thing spread out, eyes opening on every surface. "Gaah!" She stumbled back, instinctively shielding Scarlet as the young man approached, while the thing receded. "I- uh- buh- I...why are y-you here? W-what do you want?" She kept her eyes focused on him, trying to pre-empt any physical move. Telos skittered along the dusty eaves of the ceiling, trying to maintain a line of fire on the intruder. She couldn't use her own ability again just yet, but she mentally tugged at her connection with H'aaztre, in a vain effort to ascertain any useful information.

  • Rose wanted to argue about retreating, but she saw that the targets had already ran off. Rose cursed her situation. Vanguard was definitely a strong opponent, but if it wasn't for the Ice Princess's intervention, Rose could have won fair and square.
"When I get the chance to fight that girl again.... I'll kill her, then...."
Rose found herself falling unconscious, unable to finish her statement.

  • Let’s turn back time a bit. During that moment Wingy just freed the five captured Rogues from their bindings.

So I will ask again, who exactly is this Repairer?
... I will tell you everything I know after we get away from here. Your Stardust Sweeper has an unwanted effect that might affect those who are about to escape from that house.”
    Fair enough.

In front of the burning house, Wingy got on her flying broom and flew off at max speed, in hope that no magical girls would get out in time to see her. However, unbeknownst to the pink girl, there was a magical girl who had abnormal body constitution and could escape directly through the window without the need to use a long corridor leading to the door like the others. The moment Gigapuddin came out of that house alone, she saw a trail of pink particles lingered for a few seconds before completely vanished. Since Wingy was soaring though the sky with unimaginable speed, all Zoe could see was a pink particles leading up above the cloud without any source of it. However, it was enough for that ‘unwanted effect’ to affect the mochi girl.

Stardust Sweeper, a flying broom that can fly at various speeds, using a special magical reaction to fulfill required energy. This special reaction left behind visible pink particles as the broom traveled, similar to faster airplanes leaving behind a vapor contrail. As per the most recent official record of the Dark Site, this stardust-like trail seemed to have an effect on magical girls who had seen it, boosting their morale and replenish a small amount of their magical energy over time. However, what was recorded was merely a byproduct of Stardust Sweeper’s half limit said by Wingy to be her top speed. The more speed Wingy used, the more dense trail could be observed and the more potent its effect became. With Wingy’s actual maximum speed she was using, Zoe who had seen that pink light even briefly gained a temporary huge boost in her magical output and magical reserve. The magical girl and her partner didn’t seem to even notice that sudden change, thinking that anything they can do more than usual was solely by virtue of their concealed higher Sync ratio. However, knowing or not, it would soon let her fight equally and even gained the upper hand against one of the most powerful magical girl in the Dark Site. The next time Zoe tried to repeat what she had done in her fight against GG, she would find herself unable to achieve such feat...

    ___________________________________

Above the cloud, Wingy was leisurely sitting on her broom. Sirius could be seen next to her.

So doesn’t that mean you can now go order this Repairer girl to do whatever you want?
As I said, I’ve never seen this mysterious magical girl with my own eyes. And it will be a while before I have a chance to relay Mr. Zero’s order to her, considering how workaholic both 001 and 003 are.

Paused a bit, he seemed to look up information using another console.

It seems I can go visit her by myself with just a bit of arrangement, but without Mr.Zero’s name to back me up, I’m... well, too afraid to do that. Seemed like there was someone among us nine who’s bold enough to pick a fight with her through another magical girl already, but I would never risk my life going against someone I don’t even know something basic like her appearance. Not with our grand plan still going on like this.
Hmmmmm. Is that so? Hey, Siri.

Wingy said that in a casual tone, but the air between the two immediately tensed. When they were alone, that girl would never use that name, even if it meant she could tease her partner by just calling him repeatedly. To put it more bluntly, that casual line signified the presence of an unwanted third party.

Can I get rid of ‘it’?

The floating star’s camera followed Wingy‘s gaze until it captured an image of a pitch-black orb floating still in the air. That thing then turned what seemed to be a camera lens to their direction.

The Dark Eye!!? 004 flustered. What was it doing here!!?

    No! Absolutely not!!

Sirius shouted before switching to telepathic communication. Seemed like he didn't want the object in front of them to hear their conversation.

That thing is... it is... whatever. Wingy, keep watching it. The moment it tries to fly away use your power to stop the movement, but you must not damage it in any way. I will go deal with the person behind that thing.
    Hmmm. Who is it?
    ...Louise.
Executive 031? Ah I remember her. She often gave Azusa-Chan cookies, so I always hanged out with that girl when I know she was coming.
She’s 008 now. I will head to her room. Remember to do as I said.
Try not to be rough okay?

    Siri exasperatedly sighed.

I don’t know what you are talking about...

A few minutes of the orb doing nothing and Wingy yawned repeatedly had passed.

I’m back... I’ve struck a deal with her.
    Uwaaaaah you are panting heavily!
A little violence... is unavoidable when I’m the one invading her room and forcing that deal to happen. Also heavily panting your ass. It’s just a little shortness of breath!
So you really did it rough. As expected of the Executive who ordered me to visit your room regularly to satisfy your—
    You have a new task.
    What did she get?

Wingy asked with an extremely cold and menacing voice, as if those few seconds earlier never happened. Sirius... 004 indifferently answered.

I’m keeping the fact that she had been using that thing for her personal gains a secret from everyone, even Mr. Zero. You don’t have to know the details about it, but that’s a pretty big favor.
    What about us?
She won’t tell anyone about our connection and my involvement she happened to learn from using that thing. Also, there—
Just that? Never knew that you were so kind and sloppy when making a deal. Let’s do it with me next! I always wanted a private room with soundproofing wall, along with unlimited snacks. How does one night sound?

Wingy changed her persona as naturally as breathing. Sirius who possibly got used to it completely ignored that.

Also, there are three more benefits she gave us, but you didn’t let me talk.
    Tee-hee!
    Don’t tee-hee me!

Sighed, the man adjusted his breath and continued.

The first benefit will depend entirely on your performance. We might even gain nothing from it. So make sure to not fool around and use this chance properly.
If it depends on my performance then no need waste our time on this. Let’s move on to the next one!
Don’t get cocky. There will be difficult requirements to meet . You have taken that Magic Binding thing from Windy Wonder right?
    Yeah, just one though.
It’s fine. That one bracelet is enough to lower their guards and make things easier.

Sirius confirmed the bracelet in Wingy’s hand before continuing

The first benefit... a hard evidence that will prove your loyalty to the Dark Site.

Alexis sighed, tired from walking ever since she escaped."Man... How long has it been, Hours right?"She mumbled to herself. But the silver-haired pushed up her glasses a bit as she noticed them slipping down. Her feet ached a bit, Until she sat down and rested where Vermillion appeared by her side and nuzzled against her.

"What's Troubling you, Alex?"The Creature asked.

She had a downcast expression as she sighed."Nothing really, Just a little tired, Vermillion."She spoke. Vermillion looked at her intently as if he knew she was lying."Well, If you're Tired then why do you look sad?"He asked. "Are you still upset by Grimm's Death?"He added. At that question, her face had this haunted look before tears welled up in her face. A "Yea" was all that she could muster."I know it still hurts, But that doesn't mean for you to still remember that time, you need to go forward and do what she asked of you and that means fulfilling your promise."He said.

She nodded before her she stood up with a nod."Right, But first let's find somewhere where we can not be staying out here like sitting ducks please?" Alexis Suggested. Vermillion nodded."Yeah, But Give me a Ride, I wanna ride on your should."He said. Alexis giggled as she picks up her partner and places him on her shoulder, where his tiny claws would dig into her shoulders causing her some small but manageable pain before she took off walking again.

"Minor Question, Why don't you transform into Beast?" She Side eyed her partner before sighing as she explained.

"I won't because it's a burden and I'm not like myself as I am right now, I'm just an uncontrollable Merciless monster that I was and it wouldn't make me much more than a Dark Site Pawn, And it haunts me about those innocents people I killed and all of those tests and their surgeries that was placed on me, And it also counts with the scars I gained."She said."But I'm afraid of what could've happened if I become Beast again, Would I go berserk and hurt more people? Will I join Dark Site again and do all of those terrible things? Would I hurt a Rouge magical girl Ally? These things make me question myself for what I am."She added.

"Those are some plausible reasons for that." After that, he fell silent. They soon encounter the clearing of the forest, Where it was Mostly destroyed."Holy Hell, This place looks like a Tornado and a Hurricane's Child went nuts."She said. There were trees scattered everywhere from a fight that might've went down and holes everywhere, This looked like a Typical Shonen anime brawl and an OP Character was here. "Someone was here and the destruction at this place is fresh."He spoke softly. Alexis sighed." Well, It still feels like someone here went overboard."She spoke.

"Ditto."

Scarlet twisted her dagger around in her hands, fidgeting lightly as she listened to the girl’s words. She pressed her lips together a little at the mention of having to go looking for others if no one else turned up. It did seem like she was the only other one here, and if anyone else was in trouble..well, she didn’t want Dark Site to hurt anyone else. So she nodded in agreement.

But she looked away at the mention of backup. It was a bit of a nerve-wracking idea still, even though she did want to help. Was there a guarantee that they would be safe, going back out there? She attempted to shut down the few worried thoughts and scenarios that were beginning to enter her mind, her mouth opening to answer the other girl’s question instead.

However, all that had come out in its place was a scream as she watched as some..thing entered the room, its eyes covering the walls and ceiling. Scarlet had never seen anything quite like it before. She swiftly moved to hide behind the girl, her eyes staring in fear at the unknown creature. Any words she could have said got quickly stuck in her throat.

Scarlet hadn’t really registered the young man’s presence until he spoke. Hearing what he had to say, she didn’t really know what to think. Attempting to find her voice once more, she did her best to push out words the best she could. “W..Who are you..?” She asked, her voice that of an uncertain whisper.

An unexpected alarm suddenly going off moments later, along with what sounded like crying, was enough to put Scarlet just a little more on edge. Now what..?

Spurred on by the crying, she hesitantly moved to one of the windows and looked out, finding a girl who looked to have been through quite an ordeal. Seeing the bruises across her face and body made Scarlet tighten her grip ever so slightly on her dagger. Did someone do that to her..?

She looked back at Sibylla with a worried expression. “There’s a girl, she looks hurt..!”

Repairer
Abandoned Store | "Aren't they overreacting?" "No... They are not..."

Yeah, that was about the expected response. No sane person would just stand idly and watch with complete calm as a formless mass of eyes decides to pull something like that.

Who are you? Why are you here? What do you want?

Great. All the basic questions were being asked here, albeit in a somewhat panicked manner. "I'm the same as the rest of you, a man-made monster. Codename: Repairer." There was no hostility in the young man's voice despite his somewhat unsavory and entirely unnecessary comment. As for the 'Codename' of 'Repairer', well then. That was the name of the boogeyman - a magical girl that didn't exist. As far as most were concerned, being 'sent for Repair' just meant they were being disposed of. But, perhaps as a direct consequence of some trace parts of Castaigne's mind seeping into her's, Sibylla would strangely feel by instinct that the mysterious newcomer wasn't lying. A bizarre sense of trust - a feeling that didn't originate from within herself. But, the sensation hadn't exactly melded seamlessly into her - for Vanguard, it was clear what belonged to herself and what didn't. It wasn't intentional, after all, just a small mistake as a result of a rushed 'integration' and detachment.

Well, that was that. Their mysterious savior wasn't exactly a girl, and it was someone who, at least on the surface, would presumably be their enemy. Hence, it was entirely reasonable to still hold suspicions toward the 'friendly' stranger.

"I'm here to 'save' you from the Dark Site's control. I hope you're aware that you're 'unique' existences, unlike conventional witches outside the Dark Site's grip." A half-truth. His intent was indeed to 'shield' them from the Dark Site's eyes, at least for now, but it wasn't out of benevolence nor sympathy. There was a clear goal to be achieved by doing so, but the Repairer omits that part from the girls. "I can offer resources, money, I can cover your tracks from the Site. Your proper escape is crucial to my-"

The Repairer wasn't able to continue, though. Without warning, the makeshift alarm system had been set off, alerting of an 'intruder' at the stairwell. He takes a glance toward the direction the noise was coming from, before looking back to Vanguard and Scarlet. "It's probably one of your friends. Best to fetch them, we can continue this later," he says, nodding toward the stairwell.

"Hildred, mask on," Castaigne, upon realizing the identity of the new arrival quickly shifts into its 'weapon' form, which Hildred takes a hand of and clasps over his face. Once the other magical girls had left the room to assist the 'injured' Wingy, Repairer would also begin to follow leisurely behind.

So here he was. H'aaztre's master. The Repairer. Dark Site's reach was vast, and it was ridiculous to think that every magical soldier knew so much as the name and abilities of every other. But she certainly knew of Repairer, his role as an administrator, a functionary whose power was no less fearsome just because it wasn't explosive or capable of conjuring a hail of swords or a cloud of toxic gas.

His abilities were far too valuable to waste in the field. And yet, here he was. Might he have even been the one who mapped out the forest before sunrise this morning? Set all those traps that could have turned deadly if not for Vanguard's own restraint...

The fact that he had presented himself here, right before their eyes, was proof that he was not acting on Dark Site's direct orders. And yet...maybe that was what they wanted the rogues to think. Maybe HE was sent here to be a double agent, his reliable assistance so far a ploy to earn their trust while incurring acceptable losses for Dark Site. Now, Sibylla had led a fairly simple life before this. And she was never one to look a gift horse in the mouth. She wasn't about to start now, but covering her tracks was only part of her plan. "If that's what you want, Repairer, I won't refuse." Her voice wavered as she continued. "B-but even if we really could hide for good, start over...I'm not going to stop there. It might not be today, or tomorrow, but I'm going to fight-"

Before she could reaffirm her conviction fully, the sound of metal falling interrupted them.

And there she was.

Wingy, wounded and terrified. Because Sibylla left her behind. Couldn't make a clean getaway with her.

She was alive, but hurt far worse because no one was around to protect her after she had depleted her power. That wound may as well have been extended to Sibylla's heart.

"Wingy! I-I'm so sorry...please, take a deep breath. Y-you made it, I'm here..." Carefully, she scooped Wingy up, carrying her out of the stairwell and into the main area of the first floor, laying her on a dusty table. She couldn't do a lot now, but at least...

Opening a cardboard box of white hand towels that would have been used here if not abandoned, Sibylla placed two of them over the gaping wound, binding them in place to stem the bleeding and prevent the wound from opening it further. "Breathe, Wingy. Don't move too much, w-we'll figure something out." It was just their luck that she had gotten hurt in her untransformed state. With a little contribution of their own magical power or an ally's, a magical soldier could mitigate injuries in their transformed state. If they had something like staples, she could close the wound. She could even sew it shut and have Telos cauterize the wound. She'd been trained to manage wounds in the field, even if she wasn't taught long-term care of injuries. Other people in Dark Site were in charge of patching up or...disposing of soldiers once she brought them back mostly intact.

But in this condition, stopping the bleeding first was the priority. If only someone had a proper ability to heal...

At some point, Scarlet’s mind felt as if it had become full of static. The moment she laid eyes upon the deep wound that the girl had suffered, she shut everything out for a moment, losing herself to her thoughts.

That looks pretty bad..I have to do something..

But how much blood will it take..?

A considerable amount, at least..if I don’t include the bruises..

“Ha…”

Don’t think. Just do your job.

…Okay.

She approached the table the girl had been laid upon, any remaining thought now banished from her mind. She stared down at the wounded girl, her eyes studying the wound for a moment longer before she took in a breath. She then proceeded to raise her dagger, until she paused and glanced at Sibylla.

“...You should look away.”

Scarlet then tore into her own arm a moment later, her dagger moving with practiced movement. The pain that followed was numbly accepted – these sensations were far too familiar now that it disturbed her – but even so she still found herself having to bite back any sounds that threatened to escape her.

Don’t think. Just do what you’re supposed to.

Her eyes focused back on the wound. She moved her bleeding arm over it, allowing for her blood to drip down directly into it. This continued for a time before she was certain she had given as much as she could for a gaping wound like this one.

She then gripped the table, blinking hard. She was feeling a bit dizzy, so she allowed herself to sit on the floor. Scarlet pressed her hand to her eyes, waiting for this feeling to pass. But something occurred to her then. An explanation might be needed.

“My blood..heals people..” She said, sounding a little tired now. “..it will take a bit..but your wound will seal itself..just don’t move too much until it does..”

She breathed, in and out. “The bleeding..should be stopped now, at least..”

Next time you do something like this, keep the captured Rogue separate from yourself and make your pursuer choose. Please.” Hearing Swallowtail’s lecture, GG snorted. “Hmph! I don’t need you to tell me that! If Louise wasn’t being—“ “Please don’t bad mouth the Executive. And Swallowtail, that phone we have can only receive a call from a Dark Site staff and not calling them. You will have to update your situation in the message board app and hope an Executive see—“ “I am not updating anything!!” GG and Kuma took turns cutting off each other. They both heard what Swallowtail said after that, but with visible rage on her face, GG ignored her and kept yelling “I’m not letting any other squad learn about our utter failure!! If that nosy woman wants to know so much she will have to call me! And when she does I will tell her just how dumb—

That’s really not how GG should speak of an Executive, especially the one that has been giving her a special treatment for so long. As an Artificial Partner whose loyalty lies with the Dark Site, Kuma scowled. He could no longer tolerate this insolence. “Activate G-G-W-P!!” Kuma suddenly shouted, and GG’s entire body was covered by sparkling bubbles and light.

As one of the most valuable magical girls of the Dark Site, GG had been placed under various special enforcements with different triggers. One such thing is a specific line said in specific tone, which immediately forces an absolute submission from GG regardless of her current goal or situation, as demonstrated by the Executive 008 earlier. Another thing is a unique authority held by none other than GG’s own Artificial Partner, a vocal command that triggers a forced reversion.

Kuma knew that the next time GG transforms he would be in a big trouble, just like every time he had pulled this in the past. The light eventually faded, revealing a brown-haired girl who had a bit more height than her magical girl form. The first thing Azusa did after reverting was turning to Swallowtail and frantically bowed. “I’m sorry!! I’m really sorry for all the troubles I have caused!!” Azusa said in a high-pitched voice filled with insecurity. Her two forms may have completely different personalities, but ultimately she is a single person. Upon switching form, memories of what she had been doing would still be fresh in her mind. “More importantly, can you update our status and request support now?” Kuma reminded his partner, which prompted her to pick up the phone and open the app. After typing for a while, she then showed the screen to Swallowtail. It reads

Baron: I’m so bored now. I hope I run into a Rogue soon.
Cool Ash Frog: I hope you DON’T. You idiots will just kill someone and then let the others escape again.
Cooler Toad: Impossible. That guy is actually not talking back?
Pretty Party Popper: Guys. There are Executives here and they can punish us for spamming. Let’s keep this app for news and updates only.
Flawless Eyes: A Rogue sighted! [Location sent]
Cool Ash Frog: That’s my squad member…
Executive036: @ Flawless Eyes You will have to submit a written report on how to improve your Imperial Vision and Paranormal Scan by tomorrow.
Executive036: At least 36 pages.
Flawless Eyes: Yes sir.
Me: All the 5 magical girls we caught have escaped again. Windy Wonder has turned Rogue. Gigapuddin has exhibited magnitudes of power beyond what she's demonstrated back in the facility and managed to survive and escape from a GGEZ [70]. @Executives specialized team might be needed. [Send]

Is this okay?” Azusa asked Swallowtail. When she was Azusa and not GG, she was sensible enough to ask an opinion of her colleague before deciding on an important matter like this. “Also what to do next? I still have two active magical bears, one that led Adonis to Negev and another... uh... the one originally led you to Scarlet. What’s it doing there?” Azusa muttered while looking at the direction leading to a certain urban district...

Adonis was still smiling kindly as he listened attentively to this magical girl. "B- biblical?" He uttered, quite loudly. Before laughing brightly, and then fluttering down with gentle movements. Like a dove perching upon the branch of a tree, Adonis landed on the floor elegantly with a plié. "I have nothing biblical to speak of! I must say, that I am not much of the religious type. 'Twas the manner of which I chose to introduce myself, is it not?" Twirling his lance and then planting its base into the ground.

How odd it was that this seemingly corrupted villain thought that what he was saying was akin to that of the Bible, Was it? He thought of it more similar to that of a hero in the fantasy tale. Whatever the not, it sounded like they understood him. They also seemed eager to fight. How typical of a treacherous evil birthed from the depths of the infinite void of the galaxies yonder!

"However, it seems that thoust chosen not to surrender without difficulty, thus I, L'dauphin, must dispatch of thee courteously. Evil Villain, heed me and release my friend from thy corruptive chainon!" Adonis cried out loud, before twirling his lance around causing the dirt from the floor to fly forth at Negev, seemingly as an attempt to distract them.

The boy would then ready his stance in a jousting manner, Spinning the crystalline lance to point toward Negev. "L'amour d'amour éclatant☆" Adonis shouted fervently. His lance glowed bright, bursting with brilliant energy bright and radiant. The tip of the weapon glittered with a lovely aura, seemingly soft yet passionate and warm. The snow-white light gleamed, as Adonis suddenly charged forth toward Negev, intending to incapacitate them by puncturing one of their legs.

A bright white trail followed behind Adonis as his wings seemingly fluttered as flew toward Negev at a quick speed. "Yield, Villain!" The boy shouted as he dashed, with his Lance aiming forth. If Negev were to be hit by the attack of the lance, they wouldn't be hurt much by the energy protruding from it. Even if they were pierced by it, they would feel an odd warmth underlying the pain. Something sickly sweet and annoyingly so in a way. However, it would be subtle at first. The pain would still linger and overshadow it, but this odd feeling would lurk beneath their thoughts.

Negev

"I have absolutely no idea who your fri--"

Negev started speaking as the dirt flung her way cut her off. She slashed her blade twice through it, causing to to scatter around her as Adonis flew her direction.
Negev's biggest strength was her speed, and so as he charged at her with his lance, just about to reach her leg; Negev jumped onto it, forcing his lance to the ground hopping in a backflip behind Adonis.

"Playing dirty, are we now?"

Negev then launched herself forwards, attempting to cut straight through him.

"Wingy! I-I'm so sorry...please, take a deep breath. Y-you made it, I'm here..."
... Sib...

Wingy spoke in a weak, exhausted tone. The moment she saw that familiar face she could rely on, the injured girl stopped panicking and let out a smile of relief. While she was letting the strongest magical girl carried her to the table, Sirius who got a clear view of everyone who came down from the top floor had been strangely quiet.

After getting tended by Sib and breathed as being told for a while, Wingy had stopped crying but still periodically sobbed. It was at this moment that another magical girl stepped in and started using a healing power. With her eyes still frowned and closed in pain, the girl felt drops of liquid on her wound, and then the excruciating pain she was experiencing began to subside.

This viscosity... blood that heal... So it was Scarlet’s Healing Blood? Wingy had heard about this boy from her friend and once tried to befriend him. However, he was already an empty shell by the time the girl had met him the first time. Quite a shame, considering that everyone else knew that both Wingy and Blythe had dear sisters taken away by the Dark Site and people who had strong similar points tended to have easier time getting close to each other.

The injured girl opened her eyes and looked at the wound on her left thigh. When receiving an attack, any transformed magical girl could use magical energy to mitigate the damage to some extent, on top of their various degree of innate superhuman durability. But since the plan required Baron to lower his guard and reveal his true intention, Wingy had to take his attack without that luxury. Back then, the girl had positioned her leg to avoid crucial nerve damage, but it was still a large stab wound that pierced deep into her muscles which she didn’t need any acting skill to convey how much it hurt.

And yet, that extreme pain was reduced to a level which she could easily ignore. A useful and potent ability indeed. Wingy looked at the gray-haired girl who was sitting on the floor with disoriented breathing. The current Scarlet didn't look as lifeless as that boy she met back in the facility, so maybe she could tried it again right now.

Wingy suddenly jumped down from the table as if that wound of her didn't exist. The girl felt a sharp jolt of pain the moment her left foot landed on that hard floor. Since she had much higher pain tolerance than ordinary people, it wasn't even enough to be shown on her face. So a high impact action like jumping or kicking the ground to rush forward would still be a bit of a problem huh, not that she had to engage in close combat while staying with someone like Sib anyway.

"Amazing!!"

Without warning, Wingy joyfully jump-hugged Scarlet.

It’s not hurt anymore! Thanks you very much!! You… um… what’s your name? You can call me Wingy!!

To someone like Sib who was familiar with that childish and overly friendly demeanor, it’s just a repeated scene always seen when Wingy tried to get to know someone who did something nice to her, a thoughtless and mildly concerning action considering she still had leg injury and was doing that to someone who’s physically drained. However, to a certain magical boy who was being cautious, it wouldn’t be too hard to notice how Wingy spent less than a second to carefully analyze the sitting girl’s posture and slightly adjust her own movements to not make that girl fall over.

Wingy. Listen carefully.

Sirius suddenly telepathically spoke to Wingy after being unnaturally quiet for so long. Since she couldn’t do the same, unlike a proper pair of magical girl and bonded partner, the girl didn’t bother to make any change in her expression as she was waiting for Scarlet to respond, as if she wasn’t hearing anything from her partner. However—

It’s Repairer... ‘He’ is there.

It was when she heard this that Wingy’s gaze suddenly turned to the last person in the room whom she initially thought as just another unfamiliar magical boy. Indeed, now that the girl had a chance to have a good look, on his face was a mask she had seen earlier.

A mysterious magical gir– boy who did specific kind of ‘jobs’ for Mr. Zero and top ranking Executives. The end result of that project Sirius didn’t bother to tell her the name. A man with unique position and unknown motivation. Partner of the unique Artificial Partner with different origins than the others... This was him?

In her mind, she had already teleported to the back of the Repairer. When he turned around, a knife with star-shaped sticker on its handle would then pierce through his defenseless back where the heart was located, from a totally unexpected direction. She would also project 3 star-shaped energy plates, 2 around his wrists and one next to his neck, preventing his counterattack while swiftly cutting his carotid artery...

All in all, definitely not as invincible as she was expecting when she first heard of him. Wingy concluded after doing some quick mental simulations. Even from just looking like this, she had managed to find too many openings that suggested his inexperience in combat unfitting his grand position and infamous reputation. Perhaps he was relying too much on some sort of powerful abilities that won’t be helpful against Wingy’s swift killing moves, like many of her victims in the past. Or it could be a false impression and he was actually an extremely skilled fighter. The former was more likely, and the latter could give her more fun.

Of course, with Sib and Scarlet around it won’t be simple to openly go against that boy and likely blow her cover, unless she were to kill all witnesses here... Nah, totally not worth it. Besides, the fact that he was here and his partner’s actions back in the forest seemed to indicate that he planned to help the Rogues, an objective aligned with hers... at least for now. All things considered, having someone like him around was definitely better and could have been more fun than just killing him off like that. Well then, how about she started playing with him now?

S-Sib. Who is that scary guy with a mask?

It was a concerned, shaking voice filled with fear and anxiety.

The dizziness she was feeling wasn’t anything new. She had experienced it many times before, in worse circumstances. These aftereffects weren’t even the worse ones. It would stop in due time, she just had to sit for a moment. Still..no matter how many times she was pierced, even if by her own hand, what happened afterward never became something she could grow used to. All that she could do was wait for it to be over.

As always.

She had started focusing her vision down at the floor, taking in steadier breaths, when she noticed – out of the corner of her eye – the girl suddenly jumped down from the table. What was she doing, moving like that?

“W-Wait, you shouldn’t be–”

Her breath hitched, her words becoming lost, as she felt herself become the subject of an unexpected hug. Her body tensed at the contact, a haunted look passing over her face. If she weren’t feeling drained at the moment, she would have shoved the girl off. Not out of ill will, but more so out of instinct. Scarlet wasn’t used to randomly being hugged like that.

The girl..didn’t mean any harm. She wasn’t a monster. Like all the others who put a hand on her. She wasn’t..being forceful. She wasn’t trying to take what was not her’s. She wasn’t trying to hurt her. This was most likely just meant to be a friendly gesture..

But whatever intention she had didn’t matter. Scarlet was uncomfortable.

“D..Don’t..” After what felt like a long few seconds, Scarlet managed to find it within herself to hurriedly extract herself from Wingy’s sudden hug. She then backed up a little, her eyes looking anywhere but at the girl. “Don’t..hug me like that..without asking..”

A few more seconds passed again before Scarlet shifted awkwardly. “Um, it’s..nicer to ask for permission..before doing something to someone..if you kept that in mind for me, it would mean a lot..”

Her eyes slowly flicked back to Wingy. “And..my name is Scarlet.”

When Wingy questioned the presence of the young man, who now had a mask on, Scarlet found a sense of unease slowly settling inside her. He claimed earlier that he was here to save them from Dark Site’s control. But she’d heard false promises before. What if his words were another one? Nothing more than a lie?

He was also...a little intimidating to her, especially now with the mask on. She wasn’t sure if she liked him. For all she knew, he could secretly be one of the monsters – the same kind as the ones who’d hurt her. Broke her.

She’d keep her dagger close, just in case. If he was a monster...then she would need it, if that time came.

With a small sigh as she kept on walking past the darn damaged scene as she had the feeling of who did this but didn't want to say anything as her partner was on her shoulder quietly listening out for anything as he was humming a bit, She realized he was humming the Disney song "Under the Sea". Alexis rolled her eyes as she kept on going with a small sigh until she froze abruptly.

She saw the girl, and a familiar bear, And she paled as she realized who they are, it was GG But not in her magical girl form and Kuma, as well as swallowtail. She was quite afraid of GG and he destructive power Aside from Beast literally not fearing anything and not some short kid who can create a cute but deadly bear army. She was next to a tree that was somehow still standing, Vermillion kept quiet as the Silver-haired girl took several steps back not wanting a fight, unless she has too, As she watched of what the two was doing, She did hear them talking for a few seconds until GG Took out her phone and started doing something on it. Alexis was just wondering what was she doing.

Crack!

An audible crack was heard as she looks down at a broken twig and mentally cursed herself for stepping on a twig. She stood there like a frozen deer in the headlights, pretty much afraid until vermillion hit his tail on her neck with an "Go! Move kiddo!" Alexis took off like a bullet, She may be nowhere as fast as her magical girl form, but she's still fast.

The sight of Scarlet's blood dripping forth from the wound which she drew on herself so readily sent a dull shiver down Sibylla's spine. What a cruel, obscene way to make use of a healing gift. Were these their true talents all along, lying dormant in their beings? Had Dark Site simply drawn them out and twisted them in needlessly brutal ways to suit their own goals and strange sense of aesthetics? Or were these "abilities" created and imposed wholesale on them, through the process that forged them into magical soldiers?

It was clear that this girl, Scarlet, was used to not only enduring pain, but inflicting it on herself...and in this moment, it was better that she had the power than not. Wingy, ever erratic, had swiftly regained her presence of mind and become hyper again, showing her "gratitude" to Scarlet in her usual, overbearing way. In her short time knowing Wingy, she had never seen her concentrate and use her abilities to greater effect than she had this morning. Who knew if she would prove as reliable in the days to come? Either way, she was past seeing people as assets or toys like Dark Site did. She wouldn't leave Wingy behind again, as troublesome as she was.

Of course, this peaceful state couldn't last, as both Wingy and Scarlet cast suspicion on the young man who had arrived not long ago. And, to be fair, what she knew of him and his abilities made him very suspicious indeed. But again, she wasn't one to turn down a remotely beneficial offer.

"This is..." She refrained from letting slip to Wingy that she knew the boy's title. Who knew how much she'd heard about Repairer and his abilities? She didn't want any cracks to form in the group. "...the master of H'aaztre, who you gave your power to earlier, Wingy. Without him, I wouldn't have known the fastest way to carry us out, or how to set off the traps in the area to our favor. He was as important to our escape today as you were, Wingy." She couldn't help but frown. That didn't change the fact that they were exposed very easily today, and their refuge demolished by a full team. How did they know...?

"And we CAN trust you, right?" She nodded knowingly at Repairer. "We need to be able to work together on this. If no one else comes by here in the next few minutes, I intend that we go out looking for them." On some level, she was still quite capable of leading. "The explosion that came from the forest earlier...they're not being subtle. Either we run into more escapees, or their...pursuers, who in turn will lead us to the escapees."

Codename: Dynamite

Dynamite leaped and jumped from Tree to Tree as she kept on searching for a place for them to rest at. But After hearing those words, She was having Slight Regret being at Dark Site But didn't want to say anything yet. So she soon encounters the way to the emergency facility as she landed near the entrance with a small look of worry, She knew that Rose was literally unconscious, One of Dark site's strongest was defeated and she could've come in and intervened but she didn't.

She Stood in front of the Emergency facility door and opened the door as she walked into it, Where a Nurse came towards her upon noticing."D-Dynamite!? What Happened?"She asked upon noticing Rose's unconscious form. She sighed."She was in a fight with one of the rouges and well would've died if i hadn't rushed her hear."Dynamite explained. The Nurse nodded and rushed to get a wheeled bed as she came back as Dynamite places her down with a small sigh, But then turns around to leave."Dynamite where are you going?"She asked. "I'll be back... I got some unfinished business to do."The red magical girl spoke.

She sighed as Dynamite left out of the building, as Rose was Rushed into an ER Room, For a Medical Check Up.

Repairer
Abandoned Store | "Impressive acting. How many times did your rehearse that?" "Shut. Up."

Repairer watches with mild disgust as Scarlet demonstrated her magical abilities. A gross perversion of the art of healing. However, he does well to contain the disdain behind the mask, remaining ever unreadable to the outside viewer. "Are all of-"

"No. Some are more twisted than others. For example, the Lord of Mis-" Castaigne swiftly cuts off Hildred's inquiry, as if they knew already what the young man was asking. And they seemed rather defensive of the topic.

"Right. Thanks. I don't need to know about your family disputes, though."

The Repairer tries to waste as little brain capacity on their mental conversation with Castaigne as possible, instead opting to observe Twinkle, the one outlier among the 'rebels' instead. Her overflowing cheer? Fabrication. Her clumsiness and childish act? It was just that. An act. An excellent act, that was for sure, but for those that lived by deception and manipulation, it was an irreplacable skill to see through and unravel the lies of others. That said, he'd need to proceed with extra care. There was always the chance that this girl here could unravel his own lies just as easily.

"Repairer. You would've met my partner, Castaigne in the forest earlier. Your generous donation of magical energy was much appreciated, Twinkle. And Sirius." Twinkle's... murderous intent was not lost on Repairer. For now, he'll just play along with whatever this 'artificial partner' and magical girl duo had in mind. It was possible their plans didn't conflict with his, and besides, if he were to 'expose' Twinkle here, it would be an excellent way to oust himself as the enemy on the spot. It seemed that the group - understandably so - still held significant distrust toward him. Makes sense. The blood of more than a few of their fellow magical girls were probably on his hands.

"Well, I'd say it's unwise to just put blind trust in me," Repairer muses as he ruffles through his pockets. "But I will do my best to ensure you are not recaptured by the Dark Site. I am... tired." Finally, he produces about half a dozen of colorful heart-shaped lockets. It wouldn't be hard to recognize them, even at a distance. Magidrives. And, if they were in Repairer's hands, they clearly didn't 'need' them anymore. Hence, one could probably guess what became of their original owners.

"A memento, I suppose," he mutters, tone turning quieter and a hint more sorrowful as he offers them to the other magical girls present. "Of those that were left behind." A gamble. This would either immediately register him as a foe, or...

"If the Dark Site brings you back, the best I can do for you is a swift parting from your 'burdens'. I cannot fight with you, but I will do all that I can to ensure that their eyes cannot find you."
