I have questions!

Where are we starting? Camblin?

What kind of society is it? Feudal with a king/queen? Council of villanous sorcerers? Theocratic dictatorship where the high priest runs the show?? So many possiblities!

Speaking of theocratic dictatorships, since we are playing demi-gods, and thus starting our own cults presumably, what is the religious outlook on the different societies?

Do you want us to be good guys? Scheming villains?

Is this more of a sandbox thing, or do you have a narrative and story thought out that we should explore?

Last question is for Yuel Yuel - Do you have the book? Do you want any help making a demigod? Do you have any neat ideas for your divinity? We should synchronize and make something that will be fun to play together! If you usually play more direct, perhaps you can play someone physically very capable and I play more of a guile-hero? Like a Loki & Thor matchup, but friends :)

PS: If you had an idea for a knight, perhaps I can play some sort of wizard or vizier that served the same country? When we both get powers, we can gauge whether we want to use them to help said country, how much influence we want to wield over it etc etc? Just an idea!

1. starting in a small town in the camblin region called tyvvor. 2. Each region governs as thney see fit. there was an empire at one time. then the monsters attacked it. They managed to rebuild a smaller town in their territory. In truth, the emporer is/was a would be ruler with delusions of grandeur who deluded himself into thinking his empire so important the monsters wouldnt dare touch it. Based on past attacks, the monsters attack settlements that get too big. nothing so obvious as a council of villanous sorcerers or a mad dictator. Despite the previousely mentioned emporer's delusions, i didnt have the role of a bad guy for him. its a world held in subservience by the monster race. yet theres a few subtle mechanisms in place. the truth is i can watch videos til im, blue in the face. experience is all that counts when learning the nuances of GMing a new system. i'm finding out if what i have in place works and how well. 3. that's up to you. Iprovided the tools for either/both 4. what do you mean sandbox? if its what I think, then a little bit of both. Let's find out together which it is moreso.

Okay, sound neat! Yeah, all details don't have to fleshed out right at the beginning, I'm more than happy to start small and then you can expand the world as we go :)

What should I call you? Loki? Atreus? /joke
Yes I do have the book. Font and formatting are really bad for phone reading, but that's the author's choice so whatever.
About the build/Words...

Artificer/Endurance/Sword
Point is that she got her Words from some other god/demigod that lost their powers probably because of death, so these aren't her aspects.

Courtesy of this weapon. Probably it works in-world?

By touching the katana the knight absorbs the godly spark and keeps the weapon around because it looks cool.
Probably gonna use the standard array, this author's games don't seem to work well when you roll for stats.

that is what i recommend. to maximize stats, u can take words that modify your lowest. also it slipped my mind, but id prefer if you used the list from my google doc

Do we want to be good and kind-hearted or more oppotunistic and greedy? Feels like we want to be on the same wavelength at least

If it goes the sandbox way then we'll have enough of both to do. Maybe even start a war or 2.

Nyl. No idea of family name yet. May be human if the starting city isn't very elf happy or whatever other reason.

Hmm, I'm entertaining picking Command and doing the noble concept. However, said noble's domain would have to be immense to compete with those huge tracts of land :D

Edit: Wow that smiley looked way more creepy than imagined :/

dont forget the homebrew words...corruption,defence, frenzy, chaos, chivalry, decay, law, order, space, flora, sight, slime, moon, sound among others

I think I need to decide if I want to play someone decent or just a full Palpatine-esque character. Once I do that Words should be easier.

Haha, whatever you wish! Would you rather share the stage with "Just-as-planned"-NotPalpatine, who's plans almost certainly don't go his way and you'll undoubtedly will have to come to his rescue? Or like, a genuine good, but perhaps overly cautious, person trying to better the world?

Oops tripple post. Anyway, honestly I've GMed Godbound a couple of times but never really gotten to play, so to me all of the Words feel new. Will def look over your homebrew though!

That was a God of War Ragnarok reference.
Can't promise I'll get in time for rescues.
