Fandom (Open) Trying to clear SAO with a dancer?! (characters not built for battle)

Selitia

The Lone Wolf
~Hello, lovelies!

I am seeking a few people to join this little idea I have!

The concept is clearing Sword Art Online with players not built to battle. The world would not be exactly the same, like magic would be a thing and there would be actual rpg classes. For example, my character is in the dancer class and is built to aid her allies in battle but all she has ever done in the beta was perform for the fun of it. There can be characters like blacksmiths or tailors or merchants, all untrained and came to SAO as an escape to a beautiful world.

At first, this is meant to be almost comical, with lots of confused characters and horribly funny battles against weak creatures. I do not plan for this to turn into them being heroes, just a party of civilians trying their hand out at combat. I am seeking a max of three other people to join me on this adventure. I do request that my partners are at least 18 since I am 21, this is semi-lit and very flexible with responding lengths and time.

This seems interesting, any ideas for plot or any adventures the unlucky party would be going through along with any ideas for character creation?

So sorry. I forgot the login info so I couldn't reset it. Had to go through a lot of emails.

Lazaro1505 Lazaro1505 This will follow some of the plots of the show like some boss fights the characters will join, but only because there was a lack of front liners. These characters have the capabilities to be fighters but never learn. They had no desire and at the beginning of the game, there were so many of those front-liners that they didn't worry. I was thinking about starting this 8 months in, so everything is settled and then a guild asks for the assistance of people who can fight. I'm hoping they find each other during this little meeting/calling thing. It is meant to be very comical, so fighting dire wolves and not having a clue how to use sword skills with actual weapons. Most of the fights and adventures will be quests and lesser monsters. they aren't meant to be heroes. It is just meant to be a realistic point of view from regular people.

My character is part of the dancing class so, she aids her allies (heals them/buffs them) I was thinking of a blacksmith and maybe a merchant ( both have a vast knowledge of different parts and items of SAO and can give good insight) even an info broker, not meant to fight but could. These people could have taken a neutral class at the beginning and then taken on the blacksmith skills/info broker/merchant. Really any character type you want.

Hmm, got it. I was thinking of having my lad be an Lumberjack, being the 'tank' of the team and a bit heavy hitting due to cutting down trees all day, but still unskilled and would find more difficulty hitting moving things than trees.

That's a great idea! I love that.

I'd love to play a cook-type character! A fun RP with flexible response times seems just like the kind of thing I'm looking for right now :) Just wanted to ask, is this within the SAO universe or is it a universe that's styled like SAO? My knowledge of that particular world is pretty bleak haha

Great - sounds like fun! Looking forward to making a character who just wants to run a food cart and has abysmal combat stats except for the one obscenely high knife skill level from cooking all day

Hi. I’m still interested. The idea I had for my character was having him be an enchanter/artificer (basically something that revolves around magic items) as well as an entertainer. He’d be primarily some kind of caster who mostly used low level spells for entertainment purposes, but is absolutely terrified of casting high level spells. His fear would cause him to shake and close his eyes making most decent spells basically fly off in a random direction.

Sounds like a fun character! I can see lots of funny interactions with him!
