Meanwhile back in Kevin and franks dimension, franks dad and Kevins older brother felt a a kindred spirit in terms of opinions on storms thighs

Upon being addressed, and barely glancing over to the young woman bumping into Felix's shoulder, he returned his attention to the man with a nod. "Affirmative. It's a long damn story.."

Felix only glanced down to the woman as he spoke up softly. "Careful, lass. Don't need you gettin' hurt before the battle."

Arco rubbed her shoulder and looked back at the masked soldier. "Yeah...getting hurt is what battles are for..." she said with a sigh and a slight frown.

"Oink."

“Ah, I think Stroheim found a good visual…”, he spoke up after a pause. His eyes were currently glazed out and glowing a faint blue; a sign that he was looking through his familiar’s eyes. “The area appears barren but I can spot a few mountains here and there, and-” He stopped for a moment, pursing his lips. “... It looks like there’s indeed a literal army waiting for us on the other side… Konahrik’s there, of course, as well as a Saiyan, uhh, I think that’s Sonic the Hedgehog… … Wow, there really are a lot more people than expected. At least it doesn’t look like Stroheim got spotted, meaning invisibility could be a potential strategy to use…”

The half-elf then proceeded to give some details on the army itself, briefly describing the different ‘units’, ranting a little about what he thought they could do. He slightly grimaced when he saw O’Chunks… send himself in the air but quickly went back to his more serious expression.

Briefly disconnecting from Stroheim, the sorcerer rose a hand toward Marco and Arco, which started glowing with a warm, blue-ish energy. “Um, here. If you’re not too keen about combat, you could help from the side. That’s to help you survive if you find yourselves in danger.”

That same magical energy enveloped Marco and Arco, who could both feel a bit of strength course through their bodies. It wasn’t much, but the buff spell Kazwellor used made them a little stronger, faster and made their reflexes a bit more keen; at least enough to help if some stray enemy units started going after them.

MarcoHappy.PNG

"Ah...! Really?! Thanks, Kazzy!!!" Marco shouted, pumping her fists toward her chest.

She'd never really felt the effects of magic before, but this warmth was something she could get used to. It was like having a heated blanket on you all the time...or constantly having hot food in your belly.

Marco sighed contently. Were it not for the fact that she was getting forced onto a warzone in the next second or two, this might have capped off the day on a great note!

"I'm shining!! This glow is so nice! Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle, sparkle..." Arco said, twirling in place to get a look at how the coat of magic gleamed under different lighting.

“Alright, with that being said, let’s go…” Taking a breath, Kaz followed everyone else through the portal, his eyes darting from side to side, confirming everything Stroheim saw was correct.

Marco swallowed back a lump in her throat...she knew Arco had to be on the same wavelength.

"Yeah, yeah...let's get this over with, huh?"

As they stepped through the portal, the team came face-to-face with an army of strange creatures marching on their position. Seeing no other option but to fight, the two girls whipped out their laser pistols and started blasting.

ENEMY PHASE
(Turns until reinforcements: 2)

Ploomp

Automatic gunfire soon drowned out the squabbling as HUNK wasted no time tearing into the approaching army at 900 rounds per minute. He swept from left to right, pulse rifle sawing into the front ranks.

Jack, meanwhile, raised both his M7's to bear; the target reticle turning red as he let loose his own version of 900rnds/min devastation; the two SMG's combining with HUNK's rifle turning the horde in front of him to mulch.

While he was tempted to blast through the army with his most powerful spells, that would only make him a big target by the more powerful ones in the bunch. “Alright, let’s start a little slow…” His palms surged with magical energy as he unleashed powerful bolts of magic toward the first enemies he saw. They fortunately didn’t seem very strong as they fell after only a few hits each.

Taking note of where the powerful ones were, Kaz quickly cast a Mage Armor spell on himself, boosting his defenses in case he got caught by surprise. For the moment, he judged it’d be best to take care of the army while Konahrik and his lieutenants were busy with the others.

“This isn’t too good…”, he clicked his tongue before he continued blasting the weaker foes with arcane bolts. This spell, while a bit weak compared to the rest of his arsenal, took next to no energy to use and could be casted in very quick succession, making it perfect against groups and single enemies alike.

"I got one!! Yaaay!" Arco cheered above the clamour of battle, her laser beam burning straight through a couple of unlucky Clubbas.

"Yeah, but there's way too many of the--"

Marco's pessimism got stopped dead in its tracks as she watched her shot send skeleton bones flying over the enemies' heads. Instantly, she was filled with the high of success!

"Whoaa, I can't believe this is working!!!" she shouted with a bit of nervous laughter.

The technological gap could not be understated as HUNK's pulse rifle, Jack's SMG, Marco and Arco's lasers, and Kaz's magic bolts shredded through dozens of the front-line Clubbas, causing them to either explode, fall over, or disappear in a puff of smoke. The vanguard, however, still marched against the coming storm, gaining ground on the backs of their now-fallen allies. The UCA agents didn't have much time left until the entire force rolled in on them like a tsunami, forcing them either to fall back or engage in close-quarters fighting.

It's hard not to remember one of the only known solutions to a technologically superior foe: sheer, overwhelming numbers.

So far, only a small handful of the Skellobits behind the main line had gotten hit with a lucky shot, their bones crumbling onto the arid plains. The Clubbas hadn't gotten so lucky—any longer of a concentrated assault, and their ranks would soon reach the number zero, leaving the spear-wielders to fend for themselves.

Ploomp

The boulders and stones crashed down around the UCA team, several of the latter battering the gunman’s helmet. HUNK knew exactly what had to be done. Tiliting up the muzzle of the weapon a few degrees more, he hurled grenade shells into the back lines, one after the other until the U1’s four-round magazine was empty.

Jack and Felix ran up to stop short of the Umbrella operative about three meters back and to the left of his position; raising up their own weapons to engage the cluster of strange-looking hostiles no taller than a Grunt and... two-dimensional? Felix called out to HUNK, yet moreso a global address to anyone within earshot. "GRENADE ROUNDS IN EFFECT, GET CLEAR!" With the barrel of the M319 raised upward, Felix depressed the trigger and, with a mechanically cyclic sound, the first grenade round was lobbed out of the barrel; screaming through the air as it tore into a cluster and detonated; the distance great enough to avoid the fragmentation radius and potential blue-on-blue casualties. Already, Felix had broken the breech open; ejecting the spent shell and inserting another before throwing the breech up and clicking it into place; sending another round into a different cluster.

One explosion.

Another.

"Yaaaaay~! Fight! On! Fight! On!" Arco cheered in time to the explosions, continuing her oppressive laser fire in the process.

As if taking note of the kind of firepower the military-men possessed, the army began changing its formation. The Spiky Skellobit all the way in the back of the ground forces lifted up his spear and screeched in some noises that only skeletons could understand, and the ground forces started fanning out to avoid clustering too close together, slowly spreading out into a pincer formation that was bound to encircle the entire group if left to its own devices.

By the time the third shell had detonated, whole walls of the Squigs scurrying off to the side of the force had disappeared, along with two or three of the larger Squogs and a couple of Cherbils floating too close to the ground. That would certainly thin out the oncoming projectiles! The extra shells only added to the enemy's devastating losses, but as the army began spreading out, the law of diminishing returns began to take root.

Ellie and Hailey had stopped about ten meters back from the frontline; with Hailey taking a knee and bringing the scope of the anti-material rifle up to visor level as Ellie took a knee beside her; resting her MA5K Carbine onto her left knee. With a seconds pause, the suppressed "PCH-CHEEEWW" signaled the suppressed deliverance of a horrific 14.5x114mm FMJ-AP round screaming overhead of the front line; leaving a trailing white contrail that went straight into the nearest cloud-type hostile; hopefully before it could complete getting into range. Within another second, Hailey had swapped targets to another cloud; with Ellie keeping close watch on the battlefield around her.

The sniper's marksmanship was on-point as her first bullet ripped through one of the pink Cherbils, causing it to disappear in a puff of smoke. With each successive round, one less cloud was left on the playing field.

The dried-out bushes around them were rather numerous, and they provided excellent cover against being spotted by any enemies in the distance. Seems like Hailey had the easy day today!

...Or so she thought.

Ploomp

While the others had been busy thinning out the horde of ground forces before their arrival, the 8-or-so Growmebas had gotten busy...cloning themselves. The floating eyes had already gone through three cycles of replication, adding 56 more hostiles into the fray! By the time the second wave was finished, the "older" Growmebas began shaking in the air, and after a few seconds, sped towards the agents at an alarming rate, trying to dive-bomb them with their own bodies!

Even if the ground forces hadn't quite caught up to the U.C.A. agents, the same couldn't be said for the cluster of Cherbils hovering above them—they were now within effective range. A single marksman, however skilled she might be, didn't have enough firepower to completely eliminate the airborne threat in time without some kind of backup.

One by one, the small cloud monsters began to rotate and fire condensed clouds of projectile gas over their allies' heads, slowly travelling into the vicinity of the agents and dissipating upon contact with any surface. Anyone who was unfortunate enough to come into contact with any of the gas was due for a rather nasty surprise...the pink ones would cause any living thing to fall asleep, and the blue ones' subzero temperatures would immediately encase whatever they touched in ice.

The ground forces were spreading out on either side, trying to encircle the party of heroes.

In addition to the rocks and boulders being flung through the air, the Cherbils were now adding to the waves of fire with their dangerous puffs of gas. Furthermore, the Growmebas were starting to clone themselves at a rapid rate, and after staying still for a short time, sped ahead of the main force and tried to dive-bomb any sitting ducks in the group.

Those large figures in the backdrop weren't too far away, either.

“Cover me while I reload and aim for their ranged units,” he ordered while stepping back cautiously to take cover behind a shattered boulder.

Marco went bug-eyed as one of the Growmebas' beady eyes grew increasingly closer.

"Bwah!! Ally, move!!!"

Marco gripped her friend by the arm, and the two of them rushed towards the downed boulder where HUNK and a few of the others were bound to be holed up near. They narrowly missing getting hit by one of the suicide-bombing monsters, taking deep breaths to recoup from their mad dash to safety.

"Crap...way too close..." Marco muttered.

"Marco, no time!" Arco said abruptly before peaking around the corner and scoring a hit on one of the Cherbils.

"You're the one telling me that?" Marco asked before following Arco's movements and trying to keep the enemies on their left from getting around the cover provided by the boulder.

The cracked boulder provided ample cover against the Squigs' annoying rocks, the Cherbils' dangerous gas, and the Growmebas' ridiculous body slams. A good portion of other boulders like this one were now littered across the field, allowing agents to fall behind them for cover. However, the boulders would not protect against any other boulders if they were lucky enough to land near the same spot, nor would they protect against the enemies spreading out on either side of the team of agents.

Meanwhile...

Raditz looked toward his father with concern, a fight was starting and he's just lost in thought? "Father? Are you losing it? Our enemy is right in front of us, and you're acting like a baboon."

Goret seemed a little confused too, not sure if he just wants to jump in and punch Bardock in the face, or just let the guy do his thing so he can actually fight. "I'd ask if he's all there, but I'm not sure if that'd be in character of me."

"Listen, Raditz. It's the God of Destruction, Beerus. He found a way to contact me here. You know what he did. He's... talking to me via telepathic link."

Bardock eyed Gorat who was standing there slightly more confused than usual.

"What the hell are those guys on?" Fleetway asked, confused.

"They're talking to someone." Goret said. "I remember, they used to do that when I invaded their world long ago...."

"I don't care WOT they're doin' right now. If they aren't gonna respect us wit' a good fight, I'll jus' rough-em-up meself! Here comes the first punch, la--"

“Hm…” Taking a small pause after finishing an assault against a stray group of Skelobits and Clubbas, Kazwellor took notice of O’Chunk and started pondering. Unlike some of the others, this one didn’t seem as… keen of mind as the others, meaning his resistance to some mental spells would be lower than others. At least, that's how he was used to it working. “What if I just…?”

After making sure he was safe, the sorcerer pointed a finger toward the Scottish enemy and focused his magic, sending a psychic spell. If it worked as intended, O’Chunk’s senses would suddenly become blurred and his movements sluggish, almost to the point of incapacitating him for a few moments.

As O'Chunks pulled his meaty fist back and got ready to swing forward, his movements just...sort of...stopped.

".......Er.....eeeeeerrrrrrr....."

Drool started pooling in the big guy's mouth as his punching arm fell limply back down to his side. Instead of moving forward with the punch, he just slowly stumbled towards Raditz's face, completely missing any chance he had at landing that first strike.

Raditz stood in confusion as the big man mumbled towards him. He looked over, the magic kid had something to do with this… Goret looked back, Fleetway shrugging in response.

“We’ll, if this is how we start, then I’m going to start with my strongest attack.”

Goret holds up his index finger and thumb up to his face, a small wisp of energy summoned. He sends it slowly toward Bardock, but it wasn’t worth dodging because of how weak it was.

“PSYCH!!!”

Out of nowhere, Goret leaps at Bardock with incredible speed, throwing a strong punch toward his face.

Jack and Felix were both taken aback at the changing tactics of the enemy horde; morso countering Felix's explosive ordinance as they began to separate into smaller clusters in their continued onslaught. "Ah, bollocks! They're thinning out! Pincer formation; both sides!" Jack instantly moved to level his two M7 SMGs to point at the encircling pincers; already beginning to backpedal and shift his attention to the encircling pincer formation on his left side, while Felix covered his right; still firing his grenade rifle over the heads of allies and straight into the reformed cluster of forces. Jack kept a watchful eye on the flyers, and immediately barked an order when he saw a strange gaseous mass begin to deploy from the clouds. "Three, Four, circle around and form up to fall back; keep the heat on those clouds before they get too close!"

Hailey and Ellie, already having seen the battlefield shift tactics a few meters back; nevertheless complied with the order. Without saying a word, Hailey maglocked her sniper rifle to her back and withdrew her M6C SOCOM into her hands; giving the slide a menacing rack as she thumbed the underbarrel laser attachment and stood up from her crouch- beginning to backpedal and strife in a clockwise radius as she brought her pistol to level at the clouds and began firing no more than two to three shots at each hostile. To compensate with Ellie at her flank and mirroring her encirclement perfectly, the other Spartan brought her MA5K carbine to level; already tapping the trigger in concentrated bursts of fully automatic fire aimed at the hostiles not already covered by Hailey. They stopped a few feet behind Jack and Felix; ensuring the other's spacing was well covered for as Ellie spoke up. "Three and Four, on your six!" The fireteam now linked up began to gradually, cohesively move backward to give themselves ample distance to avoid the ranged attacks while attempting to break the Pincer formations up as best as they could.

Of course, they knew the massive blips had also advanced in the time that had passed. That, and the number of contacts on the motion sensor appeared to double? Jack now sought to reach up and tap a box-like device on the rightmost side of his helmet. The thing emitted a two-tone beep that only he could hear, but for everyone else with a similarly functioning device, even those at the U.C.A, they'd receive a secure fireteam commlink invitation. The maneuver was half a second, and Jack resumed engaging the hostiles once more.

HUNK peered out from behind the boulder, watching the formation change. He stared down the odd skellobit, recognizing that as the commander by its subordinates’ reactions to its chatter. He then heard a small chime on his watch, so he glanced at it and recognized the. Accepting it, he immediately said, “Fireteam Maverick, the one with the spike on its head seems to be the commander.” With his off hand, he used the laser sight on his TMP to designate the target. “If your marksman can take the shot, I’ll work on the airborne targets.” He knew killing the commander almost invariably threw most forces into disarray.

Forgoing the pulse rifle for now, HUNK deployed his TMP for the next leg of the plan. He sprayed suppressing fire at the Cherbils and Growmebas, disrupting their flying formations and peppering their ranks with small-caliber bullets at an alarming rate. In his peripheral vision, he could see the ground forces encroaching on his position. It didn’t faze him.

As the administrators watched the battle, Cugai and Fugai were analyzing many of the images of the battlefield. They stood along with a few other administrators from earlier who came back; Marie, Iron Man, Vector. The five noticed the Bonfire that was defiled not to long ago. Not to mention, the knight that was accompanying it.

"So, what would the knight have to do with this?" Vector said, scratching his head.

"Probably another lackey." Iron Man said. "They always got that one dude that's all mysterious, but then gets their head pounded in the sand. Plenty of them I've taken care of."

"Aaaaand, him setting up a campfire is a problem....why?" Marie asked.

"We had CiMos do a scan of all the broken Universes, since they're floating together. We noticed that the one our agents are currently in is glowing, as if it's being forced to stay alive. Now, take a look at this."

CiMos showed the agents images from many of the other worlds, some looked relatively normal. Others, not so much. Some had kingdoms that were rotting away, big cities baron and lifeless, barren worlds turned into literal never-ending sandstorms, etc. All of them were hopeless, lost, and should no longer exist. They all, however, have ONE thing in common.

The bonfire. All of them had at least one. To make it more interesting, in some the knight could be seen, but too often it's when he's obscured by some kind of dust, or ash....

"So, what?" Marie asked, again. "He's a magician and that makes him special?"

"We need to nab that knight." Fugai said. "He's up to something."

"He could be dangerous. Not to mention they still got some of the baddies to take care of." Vector tied in.

"Well, you guys figure out how your going to do it, because I need to keep an eye on some other matters. I'll come back around, if I feel like it." Iron Man walked toward the door. "Oh, and, tell Storm I said "Hi.""

Cugai rolled his eyes, turning over to CiMos.

"Agents! This is Cugai. There's an unknown in the area. Be careful of a knight wearing black armor, drapped in a.....a hoodie, or something, I dunno. He's here for something, we don't know if he's on Konahrik's side, but remain cautious. He must be brought back, alive."

As soon as the commlink was accepted, HUNK spoke first; relaying that the sole-spiked entity was most likely a Commander-type. Jack didn't have to acknowledge as Hailey near instantly responded; saying a single, "Engaging," as she placed her M6C/S onto her hip, pulling the anti-material rifle off her back, dialing in and sending the last round of the magazine into the head of the distanced, spiked foe. Without missing a beat, Hailey thumbed the mag release as the massive box of metal clattered to the ground; reaching inside her field pack to retrieve a freshly loaded magazine as she slotted, bumped, and racked the charging handle of the massive rifle, slinging it onto her back as she resumed to engage the enclosing hostiles with her pistol. Now, the attention was diverted instantly toward the second relay- a warning from the Command at U.C.A of another HVT- this one seemingly present on the battlefield. Jack spoke back into the band as soon as there was a break in the conversation. "Maverick Actual copies. Advise, we are unable to intercept -break-. Heavy enemy presence engaging from both sides, attempting to encircle A-O. Holding for now, Over."

"Damn it, they're surrounded!" Cugai said.

"And THIS is a TEST RUN?!?" Fugai yelled.

"Someone's compensating for something." Marie said. "I'm gonna go back to reading. Let me know if something interesting happens."

"What about Raditz? Or Bardock? They're Saiyans, can't they wipe the whole army out?"

"Nah, they're distracted...." Cugai added. "We just gotta hope this plays in our favor somehow."

From the trees, the knight watched as the two factions clashed. He knew that showing himself now would be pointless, since one of those "U.C.A" agents already saw him. His concentration was broken when the freeze ray blasted right on the side of the tree. He reaches into his tool belt, and throws a black bomb at the ground. It explodes, kicking up dust, and blasting fire from the forest.

Fleetway quickly turns around to the sound of the explosion. He at first believes that it was a stray grenade, but then he noticed something moving toward the deeper portion of the forest. Fleetway flies up to the sky, looming over the forest. At first he's confused at the man hiding in the trees, but he seems to get angry at the sight of him. "HEEEEEEEYYY!!!! YO! IT'S THAT FRIGGIN GUY AGAIN!!!"

Konahrik's head lifts up a little, having been lost in a daydream for the past while. He turns over to see Fleetway high in the sky. Even though he himself can't see, he knew it was the knight.

Fleetway flew into the forest, going after him, but he's already lost him. Fleetway looks around, having lost him in that one little moment. "You're good, but I'm world champion of hide and seek!"

The knight was hiding, he could see Fleetway looking for him. With a devilish smile, his eyes begin to glow. "Well, more like seek and destroy." He throws his head forward, eye lasers flew out of them. The lasers burn through the trees, slicing them down and creating fires. All the while he was singing.

"WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT YOU AAAAAARE!!! MYYYYY!!!! CHIIIIILD!!!! WHY DON'T YOU KNOW THAT YOU AAAAAAAAARE MMMMYYYYYYYY MIIIIIIIIIIND!!!!!"

A young girl had just entered the Watchtower, looking around and completely confused. Where was she? How did she get here? One moment she closed her eyes to rest and now...

Now she was here. Talim looked around at all the strange characters but none of them exuded any negative energy. Was that a sponge? And a man made of metal?

Odd.

"Excuse me, do you know where I am?"

Odd.

"Excuse me, do you know where I am?"
Before the mysterious stranger entered, SpongeBob was walking with Iron Man, talking about something involving building Glove World at the base.

"No." Iron Man said, as he tried to avoid the sponge.

"Come ooooon!" SpongeBob said. "It's the greatest amusement park in the sea! Imagine how much fun the others will have!"

"First off, there's nothing imaginative about a glove themed amusement park, ok? Second, how can anyone else think that when you're the only one that's been there?"

The two suddenly stop, the sound of an innocent woman walking in on the two speaking. Both turn around and see the unknown.

"Well, hello there!" SpongeBob said.

Iron Man looks at the girl, silently questioning her wardrobe choice, before walking up to her, noticing the lack of a watch on her wrist. "This....This is not good....'

Talim walked up to the man in metal, placing her hand on his chest and looking up at him curiously. "Are you...made of steel?" she asked, tilting her head to the side in wonder.

"Uuuuuuuuh" Iron Man seemed confused at such a question.

"Oh! You'd think he is, but it's actually a metal shell!" SpongeBob responded with glee. 'Reminds me of good ol' Mr. Krabs!"

"Look, we need you to come with us... Don't worry, we're the good guys, just so you know."

"The goodest boys ever!" SpongeBob said.

"You're not helping..."

Iron Man proceeded to walk to the main room of the tower, hoping the strayed woman would follow.

Talim frowned not even questioning the talking sponge at this point. This all seemed so bizarre, like she was on some sort of cosmic vision quest. Was that it? Had she failed in her quest to purify the evil sword and so had been dismissed here as punishment?

There had to be a reason.

Talim followed inside, hoping to find an answer.

Iron Man and SpongeBob led the young woman into the Watchtower's room. Inside they can see Cugai and Fugai, administrators, speaking with Vector The Crocodile, Marie, Marina, and Pearl.

"Ey! We got something." Iron Man called out.

"I thought you had other things to do?" Fugai asked, confused.

Iron Man pointed behind him, the young girl standing in between him and SpongeBob. Cugai and Fugai squint as they look at the newcomer. "Have you seen her before?" Cugai asked his brother.

"No...She's not wearing a watch!" Fugai pointed. "DID YOU TWO BRING IN AN OUTSIDER!?!"

"She just popped in." Iron Man said. "She seems confused, so I brought her here."

"She's so pretty." SpongeBob said, complimenting her. "She must use a ton of shampoo."

"SpongeBob's got a point." Marina said, the octoling walking up to her. "What's your name, sweetie?'

Talim blushed a bit, averting her eyes as she suddenly became the center of attention. "I...My name is Talim, and I was on my way home. I suddenly see this odd flash of bright light and suddenly I am here, and I do not know why. Can you help me return to my home?" she asked innocently.

"Aw, of course we can help you." Marina said.

"Wait a minute, Rina." Pearl stepped in, the smaller looking up at Talim. "The Dark Multiverse is having a fit, and this chick shows up and asks for help? Suspicious if you ask me."

"Hold up." Vector intercepted. "You can't just judge the lady outright. Maybe this whole thing's why she's out of her world.'

"How about we just send her back to her universe and get back to our job?" Iron Man said. "Besides, looks can be deceiving."

Fugai looked at the lady, those two weapons meant that she couldn't be completely defenseless. "Actually, I think we can use her help."

Cugai sighed. "Ok, Fugai, I get it, we're desperate, but we're not just going to-"

"Fireteam Maverick." Fugai said. "They weren't agents, yet we threw them out to fight a battle they never asked for."

Cugai looked down, sighing. "Listen, we can send you home, but, there's something we...wish to ask of you. I'm Cugai. Administrator of the Universe Correction Agency. U.C.A for short."

Talim perked up, a light breeze suddenly flowing throughout the room. They needed help? From her? And what was that about a 'Dark Multiverse'?

"Hello. My name is Talim. How can I help you?"

"Hello. My name is Talim. How can I help you?"
Cugai pointed to CiMos, who proceeded to show an image of a giant purple crystal, along with the smaller ones floating neatly around it. "This is The Genesis. It is the watcher of all known universes. Those small crystals floating around it are the universes that it keeps flowing through reality. One of these universes could be yours."

The camera then points below The Genesis, showing red universes floating aimlessly above a murky storm of black. "This is the Black Void. The universes floating above it are what we call the Dark Multiverse. Think of the absolute worst things happening. Or, your worst fears come to life. They float above the Black Void until they either gain hope and float out of it, becoming normal. Or lose color entirely and and get eaten by the void. This prevents what evil that did it from spreading to other worlds. As of this morning, a masked man named Konahrik has discovered the Dark Multiverse, and has gathered together an army of evil souls, many of them resembling heroes from evil realities. He wants to plunge it all into The Black Void..."

Talim listened, watching as she took all of the information in. This was bad. If left unchecked, there was no telling what this villain could do! Could he be even worse than Soul Edge?

"I see. How can I help?"

"Well, first we need to give you your honorary welcome to the U.C.A. Cue the words!" Fugai pointed to the sky.

Talim is now a member of the Universe Correction Agency!

"Now, we just need to equip you with one of our patented U.C.A watches." Fugai hands over a spare watch to Talim. "You put this over your wrist. It acts as a communicator between you and all of us. It can also have CiMos show you vital info if you so request, AND create wormholes that can send you from one place to another in a flash."

"That..." Cugai spoke "...and you gain access to the Subspace Storage Pocket!"

Pepperjack walks over, pressing a button, he creates a small worm hole above him. He pulls out a block of cake. "It's designed to hold items you can't carry on yourself at the moment. Good for packing extra weapons."

"And healing items." Fugai said.

"And maybe a shirt that covers your belly button." Cugai said.

"Point is, welcome to the club, kid." Vector said. "Now......what are we gonna do with her again?"

"Well, assuming Raditz could get his backdoor kicked down with Fleetway's speed, and the large man's muscle, she could be of use keeping one of them off." Marie said.

"Right!" Fugai said. "We make her fight the big guy!"

"Wait a minute, what?" Cugai said.

"I believe in her." Fugai said. "That. Much."

"What's next? We send her to fight Konahrik, too?"

"With that attitude, we might!" Fugai said, judging his brother.

“Wh-? Y-Yeah, sure, you can see it like that!”, Kaz quickly replied back to Kevin, trying to maintain focus on his spells. With Stroheim’s Invisibility, Marco and Arco’s buffs, his Mage Armor and now O’Chunks’ debilitation spell, a small headache was starting to make itself known; nothing too alarming, though, the sorcerer knew he’d be able to handle it for a while.

‘Kaz, ve might have a bit of a problem.’ Kazwellor briefly stopped his assault on the enemy army when he heard a telepathic message from his familiar.

‘What’s wrong?’, Kaz messaged back. The raven’s voice wasn’t loud like usual, which meant something serious was up.

‘Vell… Ve boz know how conservative you are about your magical reserves but you might vant to bring out ze big boy spells.’, the raven pointed out. ‘At ze rate you all are going, you are going to get overvelmed by ze amount of enemies, hovever veak zey are.’

‘So we need more area of effect…’ Kaz clicked his tongue. ‘Well, I guess I could try this one out…’

Firing a few arcane bolts at some Clubbas that were getting too close, the half-elf raised both arms in the air, focusing his magic onto a point a few meters away from him. After some moments of concentration, an orb of light appeared where Kaz had his gaze on. This sphere, beginning at the mere size of a pea, rapidly grew until it was around the size of a basketball, before it exploded into a large cloud of black smoke and embers, slowly swirling like a fiery tornado. The orb of light was still present in the center of this ‘storm’ and made sure the cloud of death was under control. “Alright, here we go…!” Despite the dark cloud having a radius of easily a few dozen feet, Kaz was able to control its movements by pushing the orb of light toward the army of enemies, which in turn directed the death storm into making a carnage.

Touching the smoke easily proved itself to be lethal for Count Bleck’s weak minions, who immediately caught on fire and incinerated upon contact. Those who were unlucky got caught in the cloud’s path while those who were able to react in time had no choice but to break formation in order to stay alive.

While this spell was powerful of its own, it did cost a good amount of energy and caused Kaz to lose focus on one of his other spells; namely the Invisibility on Stroheim, who cawed in surprise once he realized the effect was off. However, he didn’t have time to be surprised for too long. ‘Kaz! Above you!’

The incendiary cloud did its work and certainly did it well, but it caused Kaz to be a little too focused on the spell, so much that he didn’t see the bluish mist approaching him from above. It was only after feeling an intense cold on his shoulder that Kaz regained his awareness. Reflexively using a minor teleportation spell to get a few meters away back to safety, the half-elf looked to his left, cringing at the thick ice that covered his shoulder and upper arm. Fortunately, the Mage Armor spell he had casted before protected him against any serious damage, but having part of an arm encased in ice certainly didn’t help. “Ahh dammit…!” Slightly shivering, Kaz had no choice but to use his other hand to conjure a flame to help thaw himself out.

Fortunately, the cloud of embers continued to incinerate any unfortunate soul that dared make contact with it so progress at dealing with the army was going smoothly. However, Marco and Arco would feel their strength slowly go back to their regular levels and worse, O’Chunks would regain his senses. It seemed that the sudden damage and shift of focus was enough for the sorcerer to falter enough to lose concentration. “Dammit…”, he cursed again as he ran to find some cover while the ice melted thanks to the fire in his other palm.

"Agents! This is Cugai. There's an unknown in the area. Be careful of a knight wearing black armor, drapped in a.....a hoodie, or something, I dunno. He's here for something, we don't know if he's on Konahrik's side, but remain cautious. He must be brought back, alive."

Kazwellor let out a sigh as yet something else was brought up. Seeing as he was somewhat incapacitated at the moment, save for his remote control of the large incendiary cloud, there wasn’t much he could do. However… ‘Stroheim, do you see a humanoid wearing black armor?’, he asked his familiar.

‘Oh? Vy yes, of co-ah! No, not anymore.’, came the raven’s reply. ‘Oh! Zat evil Sonic ze Hedgehog is going after it. Ooooh, Sonic is shooting lasers now! Ohh-hoho!’

Now a bit curious, Stroheim flew a bit closer to Fleetway, trying to get a better view of the forest from above. Seeing as the glowing hedgehog was preoccupied with causing a forest fire, the raven allowed himself to fly overhead, despite him not being invisible anymore. ‘From ze looks of it, zis knight is certainly not vit zem. Sonic is trying to kill it, from vat I see...'

Quickly getting the message, Kazwellor momentarily stopped his minor fire spell to instead bring the UCA’s watch closer to his face. “Um, excuse me, everyone, this is Kazwellor speaking. I think this is something everyone would like to hear… Uh, my familiar flew overhead and just informed me of the enemy attacking that knight that was mentioned not long ago. I have a feeling that they’re at least not allied with each other.” Lowering his hand, the sorcerer let out a sigh as he continued trying to thaw himself out, ignoring the faster beating of his heart. Oh, how he hated speaking publicly like this...
